Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich, ich wurde mit den Satz begrüßt " Wir sind ausgebucht, bevor ich überhaupt was sagen konnte

The furnishings are simple, but everything was super-clean and in excellent condition.
I saw low ratings here about the wifi. I got disconnected a couple of times during my 4 days here, but it would reconnect after a few seconds.
The location wasn't great. It's across the street from the Gotha Ost train station, but there are very few trains that go there. The tram and buses from the main station have infrequent service during nights and weekends.
The check-in policy wasn't clear from the listing, but you check in via the game room (Spielehalle). Also, I should have noted that there is no option to pay by credit card: only EC card (which I don't have) or cash.

Decent breakfast
Difficult to find with reception in smoky casino. Very cold room, poor WiFi, very basic and cash only. I arrived in the dark and had to go and find a cash point to pay. This shouldn't be happening these days.

There were extra facilities available that were very useful (a kitchen with a fridge, cutleries, pots and pans; a large breakfast room). The room itself had a large closet with plenty of space, a table and chair that I used regularly and a TV that I never turned on but I'm sure other people will appreciate.
The location is next to a street that was busy and loud at all times of the day (and night). I was regularly woken in the morning (7-8 am) by the cleaning staff who opened the door to the room and then proceeded to clean the hallway with a vacuum cleaner. The free WiFi required regular logins.

Convenient location if coming by train. Close to shops.
There was no internet/wlan which was very inconvenient as we needed to download our cycling route for the following day. When we enquired about it we were told that there had been problems for a day or two…that’s not good enough. A refund should have been given perhaps or at least an email notifying us of the problem.

The room was clean. The breakfast area and kitchen were ok.
The owner was rude and came in the middle of our breakfast to remind us that we should leave exactly at 11am. It was still 10 am and we were eating our breakfast, the whole facility was empty and no one is waiting for our check out but unfortunately some business owners thinks dealing customers in that way is good for their business. The cleaning woman was also rude and impolite even if we talk in a nice way. Whatever is their reason for this it is not our problem. The cost of a double room is 60€ for two single beds which makes a lot of noise and the bed was broken and we had to repair it by ourselves. In general the cost is over valued, and the staff is unfriendly.

extra fee for dog was not communicated until I arrived there (I did mention in my booking that I am traveling with a dog),
10€ cleaning fee for 1 dog, 1 night (none of the other hotels I stayed in took an extra fee for the dog).
to check-in you have to enter the casino, which is a smoking area.
the mattress was old, the bed squeaks.

Clean and comfortable room, good German breakfast 5 Euro/person
Availability of kitchen if needed. Good Greek restaurant with walking distance.
Very nice lady welcoming us in the evening.
Smell of smoke in bathroom, even though smoking not allowed.
No soap for shower.
We picked up the keys in the spiel hall in the same building, very smoky…
