Santa Teresa is such a beautiful place! We absolutely loved this Villa right in the heart of this beautiful area. It is well equipped with everything you could possible imagine. The concierge and owner have amazing recommendations and helped us enjoy everything this beautiful area had to offer from gorgeous beaches, great food and chef services, laundry service, fishing and anything else you could possible imagine. We will be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at La Lorra Beach Villa! Home was beautiful and easily accommodated our group of 6. Location was great- walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Great surf spot 2 minutes from the house. Fun live music across the street a few nights during our stay. Angela was extremely helpful and very responsive from the moment we booked the Villa and throughout our stay. Hariel (spelling?) was wonderful as well. We loved Santa Teresa and hope to come back soon! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Frustarting
Location of house is on busy road. Had construction noise everyday from 7am to 5pm. Property manager was very accommodating and gave us a discount but it didn't offset our disappointment with our stay overall. If I ever returned to Santa Teresa I would double my budget and rent an ocean front home away from the road.

Great property, exceptional service from the property manager
We just finished a 3 night stay and a great time. the location of the property is perfect for both beach and resturants. Angela went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. She even spent over 2 hours with me and drove me to the doctor when I injured my foot. Highly recommend the property and Happy Holiday Services.

La Lora was the perfect place in Santa Teresa.
The house has the perfect location and you will have the access to one of the best spots for sunset! It is also next to great restaurants. The host, Angela, was the highlight of our experience. She made sure we had the HAPPY and PERFECT vacation. Thank you!

Immersion, adventure and luxury all in one!
We enjoyed our stay at La Lora tremendously. There were 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The property was everything we needed and more. Plenty of places to sleep, a great kitchen, a perfect set up for a larger group! The owner, manager, grounds keeper and cleaning person were all very professional, prompt, really perfect. Our only wish would have been for less road and disco noise -- it didn't keep us from enjoying the experience overall, but just realize you're right on the main drag by the disco... in case you like to get to bed before 11.

Lovely home in Santa Teresa!
The home had a great location! We enjoyed being on the north side of town where we could easily drive to playa hermosa, (a calmer beach) but still be Within walking distance to great restaurants. The house itself was so fun to hang out in. We made good use of the pool and the property managers even helped hire a private chef to cook up our fresh catch one evening! I cannot say enough good things about the property managers Angela and Fabian. They were both so attentive and responsive with any questions we had. The ATV tour they arranged for us was the highlight of our stay in Santa Teresa. Thank you! Thank you!

Perfect Location
The property is in the middle of everything. Across street to the beach and walking distance to the best bars and restaurants. We went with another family with kids and the split floor plan was great for some privacy. The owner, Chantal is an amazing host and Eliezer was an amazing helper from cleaning the place spotless to help with everything else we needed it. He was a 10!
Great home in an awesome location!

Great Week in Santa Teresa
This house is great! It is located in the best part of Santa Teresa, everything is very clean and the people are super attentive. The house has a great pool and the green surroundings make you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. At the same time, it is right on the main road so very easy to get anywhere, and the beach is 5 minutes away. Highly recommend it!

Spring Break 2021 at La Lora Beach Villa
My family of six stayed at La Lora beach Villa from April 1-9, 2021. I can’t say enough positive things about this amazing beach house including the host and property manager Angela. Location is perfect. Beach access was just across Santa Teresa‘s main road. It was only a two minute walk to beach. The kitchen was a true chef kitchen fully stocked with everything I guest could need. We cooked several amazing meals. The “horseshoe” layout of the home is creative and super fun. The house and yard/pool area is immaculately kept and maintained. The beautiful flowers and landscaping around the pool really added to the ambiance. We felt completely safe and secure at this villa with it’s 24 hour security. Mario, the security person, has separate living quarters on premise and you almost never see him.
I personally own, host, and manage five vacation rentals in a high tourist location (Jackson Hole, Wyoming). From one with lots of vacation rental experience and over 1000 reviews myself, I can attest that this Villa and the property manager will assure that you will have the most perfect vacation. Angela is immediately responsive to questions and any needs or issues. She provided us with boogie boards rentals, she has a plethora of knowledge and ideas for excursions or anything fun your family would like to do. The location of this house is perfect being near restaurants, yoga, grocery store, and our favorite beach in the area. Please know the restaurant right across the street played hip and fun music at night until around 10 pm. We loved taking nightly dips in the pool and enjoyed the music. We can’t wait to come back to Santa Teresa and stay at the La Lora Beach Villa again!

Beautiful, spacious house in a very good location
We stayed at La Lora Beach Villa for a week. It's a very spacious house, with two master bedrooms and a separate studio bedroom with its own kitchenette upstairs, a big lush garden, where you can easily park 3 cars, and a saltwater pool. The location is excellent. Although it's useful to have a car in Santa Teresa, staying here you're a short walk away from a gorgeous stretch of beach (perfect for surfers and to watch sunsets) and you can easily walk to many bars and restaurants. Prior to our arrival, we were in touch with Andreas, the property manager, who readily helped us with a few restaurant bookings and recommended a great private chef. There were a few things that weren't working when we arrived, but the maintenance staff were very helpful and tried to solve everything as soon as possible.
Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend the Villa

While the location is desirable if you want to be in with the hustle and bustle, I would not recommend this as a quiet getaway. While the accommodations were comfortable, beds and outdoor seating, this place is in serious need of updating and maintenance. The toilet in the master suite was next to impossible to flush and termites were doing their best to bring down the window sills to the point of a rather large hole in the sill of the second master bathroom. The freezer was very difficult to open to the point we could barely get it open enough to put ice in. The oven did not work and there was no BBQ. We finally found one in Cobano so that we were able to prepare meals. Thankfully Soraya the property manager reimbursed us for.Soraya was excellent and responsive to all of our concerns and was a wealth of info for us for tours and ATV rental. I would warn any future renters that there is a considerable amount of construction going on in close proximity to this place and they start at day break and continue till dusk. there we're numerous maintenance issues which come with building so close to the ocean and should be addressed by the owner. I would not stay here again and as we come to Santa Theresa yearly I learned a valuable lesson.

great house
Great house for couples, 2 masters with a pool in the middle, well stocked kitchen, close to good surf out front of La Lora. The property manager was on it and responded to any issues promptly. The house is close to the road, but the way the yard is positioned mitigates a lot of the noise, i highly recommend it.

perfect apre ski season getaway
Beautiful, spacious house, perfect for 6 people. Pool was a great way to cool down, careful walking in house after swimming as the floor can get slippery. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked with appliances and dishes. Hosts were very helpful, attending to our needs or questions right away. Location was walking distance to everything (beaches, market, restaurants, bars) without being right smack in the middle of town. House seemed very secluded for being on the main drag. Noise was fairly minimal expect for one night when there was a street party. We truly had the best time in this beautiful house!

Privacy in the middle of the town
Recently finished a stay at casa escondida. This was my 5thbtime staying here. The trip was 3 couples. Plenty of room for everybody. Everybody had an amazing trip. The hospitality was perfect. Our maid was wonderful and Mario was very helpful when it came to needing anything. This is a must stay for people wanting to be very close to the beach and the hustle and bustle of town.

Paradise
We went as a group of 8 friends and we had the best of times. The house is impecable and in a great location. The property manager and everyone working with the house were very caring and attended us in our every need. It is steps away from the beach and town. The rooms are wide and in perfect conditions and the common space in the middle is great with 2 hammocks. We are definitely coming again next year!

Great place but don't leave surf boards/valuables in gated yard
The place was amazing and the location was exactly where you'd want to be. Walking distance to everything fun! Thursday nights are rowdy and the house is smack dab in the middle of it!
The only thing is we left our surf boards outside in the back on the surfboard rack. We had been doing this for almost two weeks without an issue. But we woke up on a Friday morning (after the big Thursday night party) and some of our boards had been stolen. We think someone jumped the fence or something because we had locked the front gate. So the only thing I'd say, is to put your expensive nice boards inside so as not to risk them getting stolen.
Overall, it's a great place and the hosts are incredibly accommodating. They even have someone clean the house several times a week for you which is nice. We'd stay there again but would lock everything inside the house.

A Must Stay!
I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Santa Teresa. The property managers were excellent - checking in on us every day and arranging any type of excursion/vacation experience we wanted. The housekeeper, Mayling, was fun to converse with and she cooked us a great Costa Rican meal. There was a family of monkeys living in the trees by the house, and I miss waking up to their "barking", along with all the exotic birds. Late April is a great time to go - the beaches we had practically all to ourselves and booking surfing lessons, 4 wheelers for a day, or even fishing was a piece of cake. The hammocks in the house were never empty - a great place to take a nap beneath the cool ceiling fan. We spent most mornings in the pool before heading out for the day. Be sure and visit Ginger's right up the street for the best coffee and french toast going! I would recommend this house to anyone.

Would go back in a minute!!!
Even tough it's been a couple of months, we still reflect daily on the wonderful experience we all enjoyed while staying at Casa Escondida (two grandparents, four young adults and a toddler). The owner, Kristian, greeted us when we arrived with a tour of the home, helpful information about the area and a bowl of yummy local fruit. Throughout our stay he and his staff were so genuinely welcoming, helpful and also respected our privacy. The house is gorgeous and comfy. It is located near restaurants and shopping (including a grocery store full of local charm) but it is also very secluded and secure so we felt we were living in our own special paradise. We often started our days swimming in the salt water crystal clear warm pool and making a breakfast in the well equipped open kitchen that looks out on the pool and native plant garden. The beach down a path right across the street offered excellent surfing, walks, tide pools, and playing in the sand. Kristian was very knowledgeable about local spots and how best to enjoy each moment (taxi to and from airport, bikes, rental vehicles, surfing, grocery store, restaurants, masseuse, yoga, and much more). The first week we chose not to rent vehicles, instead traveling by foot or bike when experiencing the nearby surroundings. The second week, with Kristian's guidance, we rented a car and motorcycles so we could venture out farther to experience neighboring towns and sights. Always ending our day (and sometimes spending practically the whole day) at Casa Escondida was so therapeutic. We felt honored to get to know Kristian and his staff, getting to practice Spanish with the caring housekeeper, Meyling, and learning more of the pura vida ways.

The Quintessential Santa Teresa Experience
This is not your typical VRBO, in the sense that it comes with property managers who are very attentive to your needs at the house, and also are more than willing to act as your visitor's bureau, assisting you with any questions, reservations or recommendations on all things to do in the area. The house also has an onsite maintenance man and maid service. Everyone involved with this property is ultra-friendly and are very invested in the quality of your stay.
This house is all-encompasing to the Santa Teresa experience because some of the best stretch of beach is a 3 minute walk from the front door. It is close and easily accessible to shops and restaurants, so driving is not always necessary. There is no need to go to the wildlife preserve, because they come to you, howler monkeys, parakeets, iguanas (my daughter named them), assorted birds, crabs, etc. It should be noted this house is right next to the main drag, and most of the locals get around on motorcycles and ATVs. Despite it's location to the road, it still feels exclusive when you are onsite, although, you do get the noise from the road. However, that is ubiquitous to the Santa Teresa experience. The open floorpan to this house makes it great place to chill. One afternoon we decided not to go back to the beach, and the house was perfect for just hanging-out by the pool, and laying in the hammocks. The house is also very safe and secure. We slept every night with the doors wide open, and just listened to sounds of the rainforest. If you are planning a trip to Santa Teresa, I highly recommend this house.

The best vacation to date
I just got back from Santa Teresa with my husband and four other friends/family and would highly reccommend not only going to Santa Teresa, but staying at Casa Escondida. The house was gorgeous and slept the 6 of us very comfortably. The pool was a plus and you are literally steps from the beach, which was just gorgeous and peaceful. So far, this was the best vacation to date. Kristian, the owner, was super friendly and helpful. He came by the house a couple of times to see how we were and to suggest delicious places to eat and fun activities to do. There was also a maid, who was there daily to clean the house and make our beds, etc. She was a delight! I highly recommend coming to Santa Teresa and staying at Casa Escondida. Just make sure you talk to Kristian first about specific details on how to find the house, its engligh meaning is hidden house, and was hard to find:) The locals were friendly and the food was outrageously delicioso!! As the locals say, PURA VIDA!! I would go back in a heart beat, we all wish we were still there!!

Great place, great location.
Just returned from a nine day stay at Casa Escondida. We were two couples and really enjoyed ourselves. The house is beautiful and a few minute walk to the beautiful Playa Santa Teresa. The kitchen is very user friendly and is well stocked with knives and pots and pans. The two bedrooms have A/C and 2 bathrooms. The wi-fi worked very well through out the house. The property is a short walk to a number of restaurants and a few markets. Property is right on the road but well hidden. Therre is some noise from the road, but not really an issue. We would be back in a heart beat.

Amazing house, perfect location, great for large families or two families
We are just back from a week long stay at Casa Escondida and we are already planning on staying there next year. The house is amazing, clean and spacious. The location is perfect, a quick walk to the beach, restaurants and a grocery store, yet it is completely private. The layout is open and spacious and the pool makes the house ideal. We are a family of five (with two teenagers) and had ample space. Next year we plan to return with another family of five. Kristain went above and beyond helping us with surf lessons, atv rentals, a fishing trip and a canopy tour. An amazing place and a perfect house.

Perfect location
This is a perfect location in Santa Theresa. Our family of 7 comfortably stayed at this home. We had ample room, plus we loved the pool, the open architectural plan, the convenient location, attention to security and of course one of the best surfing spots in Santa Theresa.
The owners were readily available and helped with suggestions for things to do locally.

Great private spot, perfect holiday home
so close to the beach, shops and restaurants but still private! Casa Escondida is open plan, offers lots of space, big comfie beds and all the amenities to just lay back, relax and enjoy yourself. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the pool. Thanks! I rented for myself and friends visiting, everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property. Its well kept, clean and everything actually works!

Awesome time, Amazing house.
I spent 5 days at Casa Escondida. The house is a lot bigger and a lot nicer then the photographs show. The house is modern and super clean. It was perfect for us to spend time hanging out, swimming, cooking and listening to music. The pool is perfect.
Everything is laid out mindfully.
I felt very safe here. That was one of my biggest concerns as I came alone with my 8 and 11 year old children.
Not having to worry allowed me to just "be" present and enjoy every minute.
The daily housekeeper is great and kept it so nice for us to truly relax.
The property is super close to the beach via an easy access path. We walked there carrying our surf boards.
It was difficult for me to decide which house I wanted to book in Santa Teresa and I'm so thankful I booked this one. It was an amazing vacation partially because of this house!
