Ok for one night stay. Staff. Not friendly

The guy at front desk wasn't friendly at all. But the lady at front desk was nice and helpful. We asked for late check out which was 12. My husband went to desk later & heard them discussing why we needed late check out. 20min before 12 we recieved a knock at door advising if we are left after 12 we would be charged extra.

compared to other hotels in Galveston, it was very good value. Very nice and clean and very nice staff.

it was very hard to find period it was not on the seawall, and we drove around the block six times trying to find the turn to get in there

Prima plaats om van hieruit het strand of het centrum van Galveston te bezoeken

Prima kamer, prima bed. Liggen goed. Helaas rondom het hotel niet spannend. Op de fiets naar de Strand.

Ontbijt was ok maar het was een gewoon Amerikaans ontbijt.

I guaranteed we will stay here on our next trip to Galveston.

I liked everything about this hotel. I liked the decor of the common areas and rooms. I liked that they had a small section of snacks and beverages for purchasing. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and most of all, nothing in the room was damaged. I definitely liked the location. Close to the Seawall, a Wal-Mart, dining choices...it was all very convenient.

It was raining when we arrived and half the parking lot was pretty much flooded. Considering that the parking lot is basically in bowl type area, it probably happens a lot. People were jockeying for non-flooded parking spots.

2nd time for us to stay there

Standard breakfast, room is modern, with excellent decor, minimal carpets, very clean. Location is a little out of downtown, however there is a trolley along the seawall that goes to Moody Gardens or downtown. Grocery stores such as Kroger or Walmart's are within 10 minutes walk, allowing one to buy food for a supper to be had in the room. There is a coffee machine, fridge, and microwave.

We enjoyed Galveston

Location. It was very clean

The bed was HORRIBLE! The bathroom faucet was barely hanging on and the toilet hit the wall every time you sat down. The TV had a black line down it so watching anything was bad! Smelled very musty as well.

Great, now that I know where you're located I will return.

Great, love the scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, and everything else.

There is no street sign or any type of information that lets you know of your location. The towels were stained.

Disappointing - did not stay, found another hotel

We did not stay the night, did not eat the breakfast

The address is deceptive-Seawall Blvd, but no view at all. The drive to the hotel was extremely difficult to find. No signage No one at the desk at check in- we were so disappointed, we did not stay there. Went in the next morning, after staying at another hotel, to check out since I had checked in-again, no one at the desk- both times I had to search for help. The man at check in was rude. I wish I could have known and not checked in and perhaps gotten a refund. I normally am fine with LaQuinta

After a few stumbles the stay was decent, and the price was not bad. Everything was very close.

Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast. We slept in every morning we were there.

The first room that they put me in was on the 5th floor and as you exited onto the floor it had a bad smell. We went into room 521 and after going into the bathroom we located black mold on the ceiling which we took pics of and showed front desk. I told the front desk, and he moved me into a cleaner room. I think they need to do a better job with the cleaning.

Don’t expect much

Although not much variety, it was nice to have a quick bite in house.

As soon as we walked in, we were hit with a wet mop smell. The attendant was not very personable. He did his job but was not very welcoming. Least he could do is smile. The room only had 2 towels & a half roll of TP even though I specified 4 guests. We walked downstairs & spoke to the attendant who gave us extra towels & TP but he didn’t even bother giving us any eye contact. The room was muggy. The floor under the AC unit was wet & the floors still had the previous guests Cheetos, hair, grass, etc. I disinfected what I could before setting things down. AC thermostat stopped working so we got dressed in a hot muggy room. After 4 people using the shower without ventilation, it was suffocatingly hot that we had to open the room door to circulate cool air. Location is okay but didn’t feel safe walking to the beach from there. Area looks a little dodgy. I would not stay here again.

With better training for the staff, this would be a great stay.

This hotel is a popular stay for cruisers. It was nice to hang out with people that we would spend the week with on the cruise. It also seemed safe.

No one was at the front desk when I arrived. There was a line of people, but no person to help us. When he did show up, he was not a pleasant, polite person.

Romantic vacation rained out!

Breakfast was nice, place is clean , conveniently located near the beach!

Customer service was horrible, made us feel unwelcome, top floor out of service with electrical problems. Air conditioner in all 3 rooms we were moved to,did not adjust to comfortable settings.
