We really enjoyed the stay, we are definately coming back again.

No breakfast was served, we made our own breakfast and and dis the cleaning of the facility our selves.

The stove was very slowly and only one plate was working, that I think you have to look at.

Hidden gem

A large family home with all amenities you can think of. The king size bed had the most amazing pillows and made it difficult to get out of bed in the morning. Neat and tidy with a gorgeous pool.

Back sliding door and gate need a little attention as it was hard to slide open and close.

Great Knysna Stay

Beautiful views, close to shops, and easy into town. Lovely comfortable beds. Loadshedding lamps in each room.

The fold out bed for the 7th person wasn't very comfortable, and the kitchen utensils were limited.

We had the most lovely weekend at Seabatical. The home was beautiful, with the loveliest garden and a gorgeous view. It was very conveniently located and a wonderful home-base from which to explore Knysna. Mervin was incredibly kind and accommodating and made sure we were well looked after throughout the weekend!

Your home away from home

Lovely fully equipped and central accommodation met all our needs. Wifi and added bonus with busy kids. Also pool facility was welcome. We're definitely going to try and come in summer. All in all. Great accommodation.

Wifi doesn't extend to rooms to keep noisy kids busy with games. Weber was ok to braai as other braai facility is right on tenants doorstep so we didn't want to use that braai.

Excellent accommodation in Knysna

Very well equipped, spotlessly clean, and has an amazing view. The location was great and had a huge, fenced yard for dogs. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

Stay was beautiful but host and caretaker horrible scammers

the property itself was good and well located

The aftermath experience was terrible. the care taker and owner accused us of damaging their braai area which was on another tenant’s side and we never used. When we arrived there the care taker told us the other side with the braai area belonged to another tenant they had and we were allocated a kettle braai instead. We use the kettle braai and cleaned it afterwards it lo and behold after we checked out we were then accused of using and damaging the braai area which we never used. We were further accused of damaging a shower rail when in actual fact it fell off on its own and we reported this immediately to the care taker. weird thing is that shower rail had been held by double sided tape all along and unlucky to us it fell off and nod we are accused of destroying it. Overall we believe the owner and/or care taker are running a scam to try and rip guests off their deposit as they ask for a key deposit of cash upfront at check in and now suspect this is their way of retaining that money and not paying it back. very disappointing

The pictures do not do justice to the place... it was comfortable, clean, has everything that you need.

The wifi needs to be upgraded.... it is really bad but that is all.

One of the best we have stayed in and the price is very fair

This is a lovely house with spacious gardens and spectacular views over the lagoon to the Heads. Everything worked and the accommodation is well maintained. The pool is clean and very nice and the whole place has a comfortable feel about it.

There is a little bit of an issue in that the property is shared and this is perhaps not clear from the description. In particular the permanent BBQ is right outside the front door of the other resident so that guests cannot really use it. There is however another portable one to use so that its not a big issue. The pool is also overlooked but the resident was hardly ever there during the day so again not a big issue

always a pleasure staying there! so much so that we’ve already booked for our 3rd stay for next year!

we love staying at Seabatical because it’s spacious, has everything we need, it’s easy to get to, but mostly because it’s perfect for kids!

everything was great… maybe a WiFi extender so that there is connection in the bedrooms… but other than that it’s perfect.

Perfect family vacation away from home!

Loved everything from kitchen to lounge, pool, bedroom and bathroom. It had everything you need in a modern family home away from away and it is extremely spacious. Neat, tidy and comfortable. Centrally located in Knysna and tucked away in a quiet area overlooking the Knysna Heads. Definitely recommended and will return. Host and staff extremely helpful and polite too.

Spacious house with some view.

Although we booked the whole house there was a tenant with dogs in the same house. The house was very damp. No detergents. There is an alarm with beams outside but we were not given the alarm code.

We received a warm welcome. The agent and owner was always available via sms and phone calls. The house was so spacious and clean. Had all the luxurious we needed, wifi, tv, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, heating, air-conditioning and a swimming pool.

The pool was closed but that was my mistake i didn't request for it to be opened up.

Property is great value for money, great views and location. We enjoyed our stay with no disturbance and felt safe. Property secure and everything we needed and more were there. The welcoming gifts were awesome, the kids enjoyed it. Thank you.

Apparently one of my family members cracked a glass. They deducted R50 which is a joke. It is a normal cheap tumbler. For 50 you can buy a set Can they have a pricelist for accidental breakage etx

Very fairly priced accommodation with everything one would require and close to all attractions.

The house was extremely well equipped with everything one would require for a relaxing holiday. Lots of space for family and friends and pets welcome too. Nice big garden for children and pets to have a ball.

The braai was outside of the next door tenants window so we didn't feel comfy braaing there so we purchased a portable braai so we could be close to our entertainment area and not disturb them. In saying that the tenants were extremely private and we hardly knew they were there.
