Location
There were no cooler instructions couldn’t get the oven to heat up enough, should have had instruction book.
Also although you show the steps up to the other bed didn’t see them on the advert thought the stairs would have been proper stairs.? You need to put that in your advert as we wouldn’t have rented that place. Didn’t see any owner as just telephone numbers left if it was an emergency, so didn’t feel we could ask anyone about the cooker. Also the toilet door does not shut properly. The settee come 2nd bed is very low and felt a bit damp.

Private parking, fantastic views over the valley and clean. Very comfortable bed.
Very small and bijou. No iron or ironing board provided. Shower very small with a pole with rubber ends acting as a poor shower curtain. No cleaning products such as toilet bleach or for surfaces provided so had to purchase separately. No outside bin and only one spare bin bag provided. Sofa well used and uncomfortable. No curtain / blind on one window making privacy hard. Property close to a private garden and path owned by the owners of the property making it easily overlooked and the feelings of privacy limited. Remote location, can’t easily walk to nearby Braunton.
4.3
Good location. The Granary does need some superficial painting and tidying.
The bed was difficult to get to and not much head room, this would probably not be a problem for young people.
4.3
Nice quiet spot and superb views from the property.
Access to the property is up a very steep and bumpy road through woods. To get into the bed is up a very steep set of steps.

Nice environment

very nice location with great views, good for visiting local beaches etc.
Granary had a good path to town. Braunton good.
Westward ho! and Saunton sands fantastic beaches.
wasn't sure about the mezzanine bed, tight space and accessed by space saver stair.
water pressure to basin.

Clean, tidy, and toietries provided with clean towels. Milk provided in fridge which was handy and kind.
The shower kept falling out holder, and the towel rail fell down. Despite numerous times, try to put back up to no avail. It meant a flooded room.
Low ceiling on mezzanine, you could easily bump your head. Steps are very steep, too!
There is no information on how hot water works. We had to figure out ourselves! Hot water does not come out tap on the sink. You have to use a boiler and can be extremely hot!!
It would be nice to meet the owners.

This is a lovely basic property in a gorgeous country estate. Quiet country location actually less than a mile from Braunton. Beautiful walled garden below.
Outbuildings around the property need tidying up, they will put people off.
4.3
Excellent location. Very good directions.
Nothing.

Lovely little place, beautiful scenery, nice and quiet, easy to find. Modern & clean.
It is comfortable for a couple.
There are no guidelines where to take rubbish.
4.3
Peaceful and not to far by car to have a surf in Woolacombe and visit friends.
Road a bit bumpy leading up to The Granary. But manageable.

The place is very clean, comfortable, and cute. When you first pull up it doesnt look like much, but it's beautiful inside. There is a footpath that takes you into Braunton within 10-15mins walk and although it was raining most of the weekend (6th-9th Jan) it was more than walkable and not too muddy.
The owners provide toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar, and even milk - we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The cupboards are also fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare and cook a meal if required. Its lovely little touches like these that make it a special place to stay. We would love to return in the Summer to see the stunning view without grey clouds!!
Nothing

Very good location, clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen. Nice touches with shampoo etc available.
The shower was tricky to use as quite a small space and the shower head holder wasn’t that effective as it kept falling out - difficult to wash long hair after a sea dip!
Some external hanging space for wetsuits and an outdoor tap would also be great but these things are very minor and more for information than what we didn’t like!

property was very clean, had everything we needed.
nice and quiet location

Quiet but good location. Very easy parking.
Position of bed/mattress so close to roof. Poor/restricted shower area. Shower temperature inconsistent.
4.3
Fabulous views. Good location, near several pubs and nice restaurants
Very small television, had to move the sofa nearer to watch it. Would have been useful to have an ice compartment in the fridge.
4.3
I liked how cute and small it was it was perfect for my stay the bed was super comfortable and the place had everything we needed
I did feel like the floor was a bit dirty but nothing major
4.3
All the facilities we needed, we just used it to sleep and relax in the evening before bed.
Nice big outside space with a table and chairs, very quite location, and easy to get to - close to the local town; and easy to get to the beaches we wanted to visit.
4.3
Nicely decorated, Surprisingly spacious in a wonderfully remote location.
Close to beaches.

sofa bed was a bit bumpy!

Very clean. Quiet location. Well looked after interior.
The mattress and bedding were very comfortable.
Was difficult keeping it a comfortable temperature on the 1st night but we soon got the hang of the heaters.
4.3
Location. Good value for money base for weekend away.
Water heater in kitchen was not very effective. Water was scalding hot for a few seconds and then ran cold.

The Granary is in a lovely location and was perfect for our weekend getaway.
