Exceptional Stay!

Fantastic stay!

Appartment was very clean and looked even better than in the pictures! Location is perfect, close to the center and main attractions. Also very close to the beach!

Good choice in lovely Hvar

First of all...location... fab! 15 min easy walk from the ferry port along the sea. Ivona, the lovely host sent us a video and picture of the 'entrance', the lead up to the stairs, so we did not miss it. We had a big suitcase and had to take it 86 steps uphill - was a good workout - but we knew about the stairs, so there were no surprises. Don't let the stairs put you off! Ivona is amazing, she is very attentive, gave us beach towels without even asking and was available any time we needed anything. Restaurants, supermarkets all 5 min walking distance. Small beach 2 min, just at the bottom of the stairs. Advice: take water shoes as the beaches in Hvar are pebble beaches, hard to walk in and out of the water without those special shoes. Apartment is simple but comfortable and super clean! Lovely view from the balcony. No pool but sun loungers and nice outdoor area to chill in the evenings. Another great thing is that it is further away from the very noisy bars and clubs, so no noise in the nights. Ohhh...and accommodation comes with Ivona's lovely dog, Aura. We loved her visiting us when we sat on the terrace. Don't miss the Spanish Fortress. Great view!

Nice balyony-view from a centrally located still quite apaprtment in the heart of Hvar!

beautiful view, quiet location, gorgeous walk to the town centre.

the view is beautiful, quiet location, and hostess wonderful and helpful.

bathroom and shower were old and need updating, pillows not comfortable (I ended up using a cushion), needs more storage - hooks, shelves etc to put things at the entrance and in the main room, kitchen is basic.

Gorgeous views!

The views are stunning! Loved the balcony view, The host is wonderful! loved her vibe. The 2 bedroom apartment was light, bright and airy, very clean. Close to Hvar but just enough away for some peace and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and grocery stores close. Lovely visit!

As mentioned, the over 90 stairs with luggage is definitely challenging. ok when just coming back to property without luggage.

A friendly stay in a good location

The host, Ivona, was very friendly and helpful. Although we stayed in the studio apartment (no windows), the house had a big terrace and plenty of outdoor space, so it was comfortable and had what we needed for a couple of days. Good location, not in the center but a short walk, and the area of the apartment had excellent value services, like moto rental and restaurants.

The bed could be more comfortable and because has shelves around it, we had no access to electric plugs near the bed, which is handy for the electronic devices

It was fantastic.

Ivona, the host was fantastic and very friendly and welcoming. She even contacted me on WhatsApp with a video shortcut to get to the apartment which was fantastic. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed. We were only there for one night but we could have easily stayed a week. It is very close to a lovely beach and has stunning views across the harbour to Hvar.

the balcony

The un notified visit and walk in from the landlord. She just walked into the property whilst we were all sat inside without any warning. Did not even knock. Apart from this, lovely place.

Nice location, Good Views

The property was as expected with a nice view of Hvar. Ivona was a lovely host, I enjoyed my stay and wish I stayed much longer.

The stairs leading to the property! Not the fault of the owner it's quite common in the area. So if you have children bare that you will need to climb a lot of stairs to get to the location of where the property is, otherwise it's lovely.

Spectacular! Can I live there forever?

Ivona and her family were wonderful and friendly, but Aura the dog stole the show! I miss her! 😭 Ivona was helpful and told us how to get around and what parties were happening etc. All great to know! Incredible location and balcony and really lovely spacious apartment with lots of light. I saw the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. And ate every meal out there overlooking that breathtaking view wondering if I was dreaming! Everything worked well - kitchen stove/kettle/hairdryer/tv. Everything was easy. Absolute gem of place. I want it! Il nostro restaurant close by was delicious! Mussels and seafood to die for. Best sea bass EVER. Supermarkets really close but not huge selection of fruits. But there is a wonderful little local market in the town for fruit and veg. I finally found a melon and had to leave most! Overall just wonderful. I truly loved it. ✨

I know it's a bring your own things set up, but a few basic items like soap/shampoo perhaps coffee/tea/salt/oil (even half used) would have been the icing on the delicious cake and made it an extra warm welcome. When you're travelling from place to place carrying those things with you is not ideal, so needing to buy them every time you move, becomes a bit of a drag and more costly. You use a little and have to leave most of it again. It's to be expected I know, but when you do find those few things when you arrive, it really does make a big difference. An extra touch. Overall just wonderful though!

It was ok

It was practical to spend a night.

We had a little studio with no window (doesn’t seem like this room was in the pictures of booking ?) So very dark place. The aircon is very noisy and on the middle of the night you have to « empty the water » (I recommend to do it before you go to sleep, it should last the night) Almost no plugs in the apartment to charge our device ( found one under the TV we shared) And the place was maybe clean but since it’s quite old and rusty it doesn’t look like it. Overall it was enough for us to stay the night and the landlord was adorable. The place was ok priced so would recommend if you’re not picky.

Exceptional

Our apartment was in a great location with amazing views looking over the ocean for sunset. The fresh fruit and fish markets were a five minute walk, Beaches, cafes and the center of town were an easy walk also. Our apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook dinners as well as access to a washing machine for laundry. Our host was very welcoming and very responsive with any help we needed. We would love to go back to stay again!

Hvar holiday home comfort

Clean, comfortable with quick access to a beautiful sea. The home is surrounded by beautiful fruit trees and it has an incredible view of the sea. The air conditioner worked extremely well. This was important as we visited in August and it was quite warm. There a/c unit is in the living area.

Amazing apartment with sureal view on the town and sea. Ivona is so nice, calm and relaxed person. She will help you in anyway yet you have complitely privacy with your own entrance. Her house is a small paradise in paradise of Hvar. Do not look more. Steps are not so long and after 2 minutes you are on the beach. It's just perfect. :))

Exceptional

Ivona’s propriety is a great place to stay! It is great location with sea view, close to the beach, supermarket, and also walking distance from the Port and from the city center (10-15min max). Ivona and her daughter are lovely person. The apartments were also very cleaned and good space. We rented 2 apartments for 7 people. We love Hvar and we will be back!!
