Cosy, well located and well equipped

Right on the edge of the water. Kayaks, paddle boards and fishing gear. So neat and really well put together. The breakfast and goodies, bubbles and cheese were all great. Phenomenal hosts. So private. Best equipped kitchen in a property I stayed in for a while.

It’s got many stairs, but what an oasis once you reach the unit.

AMAZING

We wanted to go on a mini holiday for my husbands 40th, and this place did not disappoint. It has everything you want. The view, the room... everything was amazing. If you want a place where you can unwind and not have to leave, this is the place for you. It is so peaceful and private, you don't need to go anywhere. There are kayaks and paddle boards, wood for the fire pit.. food in the pantry, breakfast is supplied.. This room honestly has everything. The host is very easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. I highly recommend.

If you are not confident with stairs, then you may want to hire a boat for your stay. There are around 50 odd steep stairs down to the property, and if you are unfit like my hubby and I, then you may struggle a little. When we wanted to leave to go into town, I would be very puffed by the time I got back up the top, and my husband ended up with very sore legs! Lol.. but the room and view make it all worth it.

Our stay could simply be summed up by the property name “Serenity by the Lake”.

Position! Position! Position right on the waterfront. Breakfast included and all the ingredients you needed for either cooked or continental.

Bliss

The accommodation was well stocked with a variety of treats, despite us only expecting a provided breakfast. Waking up each morning to the lake front views was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cottage was also stocked with a variety of water activities which we weren't able to make full use of due to weather, but in warmer weather would've been awesome!

We couldn't say a bad word about the place. It was a great few days spent relaxing after our wedding!

Serenity by the Lake is true to its name!

This property is excellent. Beautifully furnished, great floor plan, so many thoughtful supplies and inclusions, all in an amazing setting. A perfect place for a special occasion or just some time away!

Most people would not be concerned about a lot of steep, open steps to get to the property….. I was quite anxious about them.

Fantastic stay! Photos of the view don't really do it justice - its so special to to be right on the water and we looked forward to watching the sunset from the couch each evening. Easy drive from Sydney with coffee and shops within 5 mins drive. Leah has taken such care to ensure anything you need is right there which makes the stay extra relaxing. Breakfast, snacks and extras provided were thoughtful and very generous. We popped a nice bottle of bubbles after arrival and were able to make a couple of great cheese boards with the supplies. The kayaks, paddle boards and games were also a big plus! Leah's communication was great throughout the stay, especially when we had plumbing issue. We were a bit worried given it was NYE but Leah had everything resolved within a couple hours! Thanks so much for your hospitability, Leah - we will definitely be back! :)

There were more stairs than expected but the view was well worth it!

Everything. Waking up every day looking out at that lake and seeing the ducks arrive and feeding them. Was so super special. Everything has been thought of and we were spoilt from the books, games, equipment, fishing rods to the beautiful food and drink that was provided for us. The pantry and cupboards were stocked with everything you have at home. Highly highly recommend. Was perfect. You can get lovely meals prepared from the post office/Cafe down the road which makes lovely frozen and fresh prepared meals. This helped save lots of money and also helped with not needing to buy groceries. You can also buy loaf of bread from there too. Recommend to pack lightly and reef shoes if you want to get in the water

Location was amazing. Facilities were great, everything you need and more. Lots of food in the fridge and pantry. Leah and Rod were great to deal with.

Everyone and everything. Leah went above and beyond as a host. The location is beautiful serenity by the lake says it all

The only drawback would be the steep steps up and down to the boatshed....maybe you could come in by boat ⛵

Exceptional host, very available to handle any queries. Beautiful property, well designed and tended to. Great on-site amenities, kayak, fishing lines, even bait provided. Absolute gem of a property.

An amazing Boat cottage with absolutely everything for a perfect romantic weekend away.

Breakfast was supplied to cook. The hosts catered for absolutely everything and more. We did not have to leave the house, there was enough food for the weekend. Never stayed in anything like it. They thought of everything. We will definitely by back.

We accidentally dropped a glass and smashed it - we cleaned it all up and made sure to leave the place perfect Was surprised to be asked to pay for the glass considering we left everything else in perfect shape

Serenity with style

We loved the lovely, every changing vistas of the lake with delightfully diverting birdlife. The attention to detail- Hosts Leah and Dee have truly thought of EVERYTHING. The superbly stocked pantry sets a new bench mark! This property is most aptly named: we loved the serenity.

Exceptional!

This place was exactly what is says, serenity by the lake. The accommodation itself was comfortable and stylish with a fully equipped kitchen to cook whatever your hearts desire. The included breakfast was plentiful and more, with a stocked pantry to help yourself to. This was more than expected and 2 days is simply not enough here. Planning our next getaway already! An exceptional place!
