Lots of room for 11 of us of all ages, nice and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with implements and appliances. The furnishings were sparse, but very comfortable beds! Out only disappointment was that they couldn’t find someone in Juneau to repair the out of commission hot tub.
4.0 / 5.0
Need of repair:
Hose by hot tub is constantly running, won't shut all the way off
Ice machine in main house is frozen up
Fan in the downstairs bathroom doesn't work
Front left burner on the stove in main house doesn't turn on. only one light bulb in master bathroom. main storm door needs adjusted-difficult to close.
Cleaning_ Open candy was left on one of the chairs in living room and crumbs under couch cushions, Dirty towels were left hanging in downstairs bedroom. All of the dehumidifiers were full and the one in the main kitchen smelled foul. Hot tub water level was low and was not clean.

The house was perfect for our group, it was exceptionally neat and clean and had everything we needed. The location is close to town but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. We really loved the setting, it is surrounded by beautiful trees and wildflowers and the views were amazing! I would definitely recommend this place.

The house and apartment were very clean. We loved how close it is to downtown. The only issues we had were some confusion over where to park our 3 rental vehicles and I guess we didn't read that there's no air conditioning. We had some trouble figuring out how to turn the heat off in both places. We had to open windows to get some cool air in. We did have to wash towels a couple of times and the apartment didn't have bath cloths, but luckily we brought our own. We're not sure if the hot tub was in working order but we did see some technicians servicing it during our stay. I understand not wanting smoking in or near the property but they really should have some area for smoking because people do smoke, it's just a fact of life. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in this property and we'd book here again.

Wedding Week
Our family of 10 ( 6 adults 4 children ) gathered in Juneau for our daughter's wedding. This rental was perfect for our needs. We rented the house & apartment - which provided plenty of room for all. The location is close to hiking trails & an energetic walk to town! We enjoyed the hot tub after many of our outings & the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Thanks so much for everything

Disappointed
The property and location was very nice. This was my first time renting and actually being able to stay in a vrbo property. We rented the same property last year but had to cancel due to pandemic. But, the oven, microwave, and wood pellet stove didn’t work. This made it very difficult to spend time together as we could not cook meals on site. The wood pellet stove had an error code that indicated it needed required maintenance, thus wouldn’t work. We were looked forward to being able to warm by the stove after coming in from the he rain. It rains a lot in Juneau. I’m disappointed, it wasn’t better as I planned this trip for two years.

Excellent Location, property needs repair
Starting with the positives, the location of this property is great!! The beds were very comfortable.
There were several items in need of repair - the oven didn’t work, a burner on the stove wouldn’t light, the hot tub was not working, screens were missing from the windows, the hot water was sketchy.
The property was not clean when we arrived due to the previous guests late departure. This got our Alaskan vacation off to a bit of a rocky start. The on-site contact did her best, but she was put between a rock and a hard place.
Hoping our experience was a one off for this property. Thankfully, we are a group that is just happy to be together, so we had an amazing time despite the lodging disappointments.

Nice place for a family reunion.
We had a very enjoyable time staying here with 14 people for a family reunion. My only complaints are that we were not told the oven was not working in the main cabin which was very inconvenient, the garbage was 90% full on our first day so overflow had to go in the garage until garbage day, and the garage door would not work so we had to manually figure it out, the upstairs deck looked unstable so it was not used, and the house keeper did not respond to text messages. Other than that the hot tub was great, the deck was peaceful, the beds were very comfortable, and it was a great experience and location!

Wonderful place
The property was beautiful and worked very well for us. The caretaker was great...responsive, patient, and went out of her way to help in any way.

A group of us from Anchorage stayed at the property and it was very clean and stocked with everything you might need.
