We loved our time on the island, would definitely return if possible.

Makis was a great host - very helpful & informative. Breakfast was delicious - a lovely selection of homemade dishes.

The bathroom facilities were rather difficult to use due to the floor flooding when using the shower.

Exceptional

Makis was very friendly and helpful. He picked us up at the port, even though the ferry was an hour late arriving and when we left he took us back to the port The room was clean, very spacious, (bigger than expected), and well equiped with everything one could need. The big balcony offered privacy and a great view. All set in a peaceful location. The breakfasts were good with delicious preserved sweets. Because it was early in the season and the breakfast area wasn't yet open, it was a real treat to have our breakfast baskets brought to our room, so we could eat on the balcony. We loved listening to the frogs. It's quite a walk back up the hill from the town but a taxi back is only 5 euros.

Would come back any time!!

The host was really really welcoming, friendly and helpful! The view is fantastic and everything really quiet.

Travelling alone was perfect, but if there are more persons, the bathroom is really small and gets wet, when showering. It is no problem at all, but one should know it.

Highly recommendend

The apartment consisted of two rooms and a balcony with a fantastic view over the island landscape. Breakfast was excellent, there was a selection of homemade jams and marmalades , delicate cheese from the neighbor and much more. The port center is within walking distance. For our excursions and island life we got valuable tips and information from the owner.

Exceptional

We had a great time at Maroussa's, the room had everyting we needed, exceptionally clean, with a great view of the sea. The breakfast was very good, with homemade fresh food. The host was welcoming and very helpful with a lot of useful info regarding best beaches, bus and ferry schedule - very important on greek islands, where sometimes basic information is not as easy to come by for tourists. Be mindful, if you have mobility issues, there is a 15min walk up from the port. The host was very helpful in driving us from and back to the ferry, so carrying the luggage was not an issue.

Good atmosphere and appartment

The kindness and service from the hosts and the good atmosphere. The stunning view from the rooftop terrace. The space and interior design of the apartment. The excellent breakfast. The talk with other guests. The host helped us with the flight delayed luggage and also helped us getting the luggage from a ferry the day after we arrived. Thanks again! The nearby Livadakia beach.

Splendid Serifos - Special Maroussas

The owners are simply delightful ! Friendly, helpful and collected us from the ferry port. Nothing too much trouble for the staff too. The apartment was well equipped, large, clean and very confortable. We enjoyed the veranda which overlooked the countryside with views to the sea and beyond. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Excellent breakfast was on offer daily. Quaint Greek "home-away-from-home' which is tranquil and peaceful. Nature-noises at night and clear, starlit sky. Absolute bliss I will most certainly return.

Great hospitality

Clean and comfortable room, amazing breakfast with lots of homemade jams and the free beach towels and other equipment were an unexpected plus. The host was super friendly and helped us make the most of our time on the island, thank you Maki!

Exceptional

Outstanding apartment in Serifos, we truely enjoyed our stay there, certainly also thanks to the yummy outdoor breakfast. The apartment was very spacious with good aircon. The owners were very friendly, on the day of departure we could deposit our luggage in their travel agency office conveniently located close to the port. Parking next to the apartment is no problem and there is a really good taverna close by (open in the evenings only).

Exceptional

Best choice! Excellent accommodation with beautiful view. Very nice breakfast served in the garden, fruits, vegerables, eggs were all from local farmers or home-grown. Mr. Makis, the owner, was always very helpful and able to give us a lot of insightful and reliable information for travels around the island. It was a nice experience to stay in this beautiful place out in the country.

Poor access roads to property.
