Great place with brilliant host.

It is a place with heritage, cosy, warm and peaceful. Our room was spacious for three of us and with a great view of the lake, next door to the ferry and straight in the centre of Hallstatt. The host is brilliant, very friendly and accommodating, we had everything we needed. Great place in a great location. Many thanks

Lovely b&b but a tad overpriced.

The property has authentic architecture, and the bedroom is spacious. The balcony is spacious.

It’s pricey for what it is. I had hope for an ensuite bathroom (not shared per floor). I also expected a better view from the balcony. The proprietors are nice, though, but they do not come to the in until 4pm. If you want to leave your bag, you have to leave it unattended on the entryway where anyone can pass by. Early check in also not possible. I wish there were lockers where we can leave our stuff while waiting for the innkeepers to arrive. Be mindful of the steep stairs if you have injury.

Good stay, thoughtful and considerate owners.

Location was good - but parking was bit difficult, but the hotel provided good instructions on where to park and how to get to the property. When we checked out early, the property owners provided refund for the second night (when we checked out early). Appreciate the consideration!

A perfect place to stay in a cute village!

This is great place to stay! The location is perfect, and the staff Forenc and Lukas went out of their way to help me! They helped with my suitcase up the stairs. The shared baths and toilets are never a problem! The fact that there is no TV should concern no oneq because Hallstatt is so amazing. The entire village is helpful and friendly. my room had a sweet balcony and was totally delightful. I wished I had stayed longer.

Location was wonderful and the view was beautiful. Staff was very accommodating and kind. We would recommend this place for everything except the bed!

Poor communicatin and not trustworthy

The house is right in the center of town. There was a great food truck not too far ;)

* The hotel manipulates its Booking score!!! We left this review and since it was not good the hotel marked our stay as a "No-Show" to have it deleted. Only after getting Booking's support involved, I was able to leave this review again. It doesn't say that the town is closed to cars. Only after booking we got a message that there were shuttles from the parking lot. We contacted the property before arriving but no one answered for two hours on the phone and over messages. With no shuttle we walked a kilometer (my dad has back and knee issues and cannot walk much). We got the two-bedroom apartment. One of the bedrooms had no doors and the windows had no shades, so you wake up when the sun is out. If these things were communicated in their description, we probably would have looked for another place. To make things worst, we asked to book a shuttle for 9 am and they confirmed over message. After waiting outside for 10 minutes we asked about it and the guy told us we had to go to the main square 🤦🏻‍♂️. We had to ask ANOTHER hotel to call us the shuttle since we missed ours. We ended up waiting 30 min in the street. Communication is just the worst!

Amazing views, great location

The view from the balcony of my room was the reason I came to Hallstatt. I could enjoy the scenery with a coffee from the comfort of my own room as long as I wanted. The village overlook was not a far walk. It was a beautiful thing, and I would stay here again if I ever came back to Hallstatt! The host was very warm and welcoming, too. A great place to stay.

Exceptional

Everything was excellent. The host, Leopoldine, is very friendly and welcoming. My room has a nice balcony from which mountains and the lake can be seen. The town (Hallstatt) and the place is a dream come true. The bathroom was shared, but was always perfectly clean and always empty as well. The cakes served at breakfast are delicious. I super recomend this place.

wonderful location and our room on the first floor was great for a family with its seperate bedroom and small kitchenette

the only negative for the stay is the noise that transfers throughout the accommodation. you can hear everything - but that is just the style of the building

nice, comfortable and relaxing.

I appreciate the warm and vintage decorations in the room. It’s near tourist spots and the boat pier. I love the beautiful view from the balcony and the sunshine shine into the house at around 11am during winter time. It is beautiful. The price is reasonable with shared toilet and bathroom.

it’s a bit difficult to get luggage downstairs but the owners helped a lot. And one important thing, most restaurants are closed in winter. Luckily I prepared my food.

Exceptional

The hotel was fantastic, the view from our room was exceptional. The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom facilities were excellent. Leopoldine was a lovely and very helpful host, we would definitely stay here again.
