Decor and style was luxurious
Noisy two families with young children staying in apartment above shattered the ambiance and mood. Perhaps the owners might consider the demographics of the occupants when scheduling the bookings.

The location was excellent especially with 2 young kids, being a manageable walk to the headland and very short walk to shops, beach & playground. The atmosphere was so relaxing for us, the design features, the garden, the deck. The facilities were very comfortable, the beds & bedding, the deep bath, the full kitchen.
The driveway of Tropicana is very steep which is something to be aware of, however street parking is fine.

Beach Havens is one of my favourite places in Emerald Beach, I stay there regularly. The quality of the kitchen, the appliances and the bedding and linen is second to none. The shower has great pressure and everything you need is supplied. It has a great outdoor area with a BBQ [it rained the whole time so didn't enjoy the outdoors at all]. The host Leesa is absolutely amazing and always responds with any requests or issues.
I travel a lot and take food as I do food prep and the property doesn't have a microwave, making it hard to heat up meals and also a wheat bag [use regularly to manage pain], but not a huge problem.

Photos on the website accurately portrayed the property. There was loads of character, nice ambience, very pleasant outlook into the back garden cleverly screened from neighbours, great back deck, loved the way the bedrooms opened right up. Minimilist Bali feel bathroom. Kitchen set up fantastic, and wonderfully well equipped.
Amazing bird life, lorikeets in the garden all day, butcher birds and other species that we maddeningly couldn’t identify! Dusk was an absolute delight for the bird lovers.
Parking right at the door. Terrific directions on how to get there - better than GPS.
Minor problem with internet access when we arrived was immediately resolved by the hosts, who were extremely helpful and generous, also letting us know that a late check was available if we wanted - we couldn’t take up the offer, but greatly appreciated the generosity of spirit!
Property is only few minutes very pleasant stroll to the beach, and to multiple great options for take away and dine in food. Fabulous coffee, and food from the local store. The bottle shop was open later and had a fantastic supply of necessities if all else was closed, eg. fresh bread, milk, butter, eggs, cheese as well as great wine selection.
surprisingly no microwave - unfortunately this mattered as one of us had back pain and was relying on a heat pack for pain relief.
Lot of noise from the other holiday unit upstairs, no problem if your neighbours are exceptionally quiet. Our co-residents were a noisy (but just normal noisy) family with kids running around, up and down stairs from early morning til after we were in bed. We found the noise insulation between the floors to be inadequate to the point of discomfort. noise was enough to wake us up both late evening and early morning. I suspect this would not be a problem for those with young children, those who were not light sleepers, had tv/music on all the time etc. I’m giving so much detail because it was one significant thing that impeded on an otherwise really lovely brief stay. We would definitely stay again, and be willing to take our chances with the noise … or try to snag the upstairs instead!

Great location beautiful house, tranquil, luxurious
Lots of terms and conditions repeated continuously. Understand some people may not have done the right thing in the past but each stay is a new experience and guests need to feel relaxed and comfortable

The property is beautiful and tranquil. It is a unique property and the hosts did an excellent job of designing, building and furnishing it. The garden is lovely and it is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants but you are not on the main street so the noise levels are non existing. The beds were very comfortable. You will not be disappointed when you stay there.
Everything was lovely and in working order, so I have no complaints

Lovely vibe and everything we could need. Great styling. Lovely big deck with BBQ, dining table and hammock. Outside car space in driveway. Seating out the front near the fountain. Clothesline down the side. Lovely grass area and seating out in the garden. Close to the beach, cafes and restaurants.

It was a bit cold being the middle of winter but the heater provided worked very well to heat the living area
