Fine but not a great deal for the cost

Room was nice

Felt cost was higher than other hotels nearby without getting anything added. Also first time i ever had a $100 dollar hold on card when checked in for damage or incidentals. Hopefully that was not charged. Also no swimming in lake near hotel.

Établissement neuf chambres spacieuses Vue sur lac plaisante

La propreté est a revoir, service très inégal. Le menage des chambres consiste a faire le lit quand ils y pensent et vider les poubelles. Pas d’aspirateur ni de poussière de faite ni nettoyage des cabines de douche. Le sol de la piscine sal dès le matin, même en tongues cela ne donne pas envie.

Such a disappointment

The property had everything going for it. It’s right on the water. It’s easy access to the town.

The property can only be as good as the people running it. Right from the start you could see there there wasn’t someone watching over the details. We arrived, no one offer assistance with our luggage. A dead flower arrangement was on display in the lobby. The next morning the water in the entire hotel and restaurant had been turned off. We couldn’t take a shower or bath and had to go have breakfast in another hotel. The staff acted like this was a typical experience. It was stunning. Another hotel would be offering to comp the room, would have made arrangements, would have been tripping over themselves to apologize for the inconvenience. Not here. Nothing. I honestly wanted a refund for the whole stay. The rooms were dreadful and depressing. Horrible inexpensive vinyl covered furniture, little art of decoration. Nothing warm. Nothing pleasant. The bathroom had these awful motion detectors that would come on in the middle of the night when you get up in your sleep. It was dreadful.

A wonderful spot to stay in Saranac Lake

Great location, excellent facilities, wonderful full breakfast with lots of options; wished I had booked for longer. Will definitely return.

ótimo hotel próximo de Lake Placid e White Face Mountain.

As instalações são ótimas, muito limpo e confortável. Tem uma vista linda e uma piscina térmica que as crianças adoram, além de sala de fitness. Fácil de estacionar. Restaurante no Hotel.

A água da piscina ou era muito quente (da hidromassagem) ou muito fria (da piscina) e o local era muito barulhento (se tivesse crianças na piscina). O restaurante do café da manhã parecia um pouco abandonado, talvez porque baixa estação. Mas fomos muito bem atendidos. A cidade de Saranac não tem muitas atrações. Mas fica perto de Lake Placid.

We were 4 in the room. The toiletries weren’t sufficient for all. But we did not bother asking either.

Excellent hotel all around!

Great location close to Lake Placid. Room was nicely decorated, clean, and good size. Enjoyed the lobby with fireplace to relax and have a drink with friends.

A television in the lobby meeting area would be a good addition.

The room was large and clean. The hotel has a private parking. It is very close to the Saranac town centre, where you can find lots of options for dining. The lake by the hotel is a nice bonus :)

Given that breakfast is not included in the price, I think this hotel might be a bit overpriced.

A quick mountain getaway with family for Christmas

Odessa a check-in was very friendly! Logan the bartender served me well! I was in a third floor room on the corner, had two nice windows.

The staff was young and somewhat inexperienced, but that's typical for Saranac Lake. There was no snow for Christmas, but that wasn't the staff's fault...

Sehr schöne, moderne saubere Unterkunft in direkter Seelage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten von dort aus den Nationalpark sehr gut erkunden.

The room had a great view of the lake. The place had a cozy lobby with lake view, a nice small gym with modern gear, a small indoor pool. The cleaning staff was friendly.

The staff at reception was not helpful with information on walking and hiking trails in the area. The restaurant / pub staff was absolutely unfriendly and disorganized and it took very long to get average food although the place was rather empty. Expensive for off-season.

Great accommodation at a good location - would stay again!

The room was spacious and overlooked the pretty lake. Had fire pits and chairs to enjoy the view and nice walking path. Convenient onsite restaurant with decent food.

Views were amazing.

Two weddings, two nights, back to back. NO WARNING. Loud music, bad parking, shower wouldn’t drain, AC wouldn’t stay on.

הסמיכות לכביש הראשי מחייבת לסגור את הדלתות כי מאוד רועש בלילה. ( אולי לבקש חדר שפונה לאגם ) . חרקים מעופפים רבים, לקח זמן עד שניצחנו אותם...

The stay itself was pleasant, accommodation adequate, personnel pleasant, the pricing not so much.

we were extremely disappointed the breakfast was not included in our extraordinarily high priced room. The staff was very helpful with every aspect of our stay however they could not help with the rate due to being booked with BOOKING.COM. My wife who initiated the reservation remembers the rate being around $540 or 550. That was for 2 adults and 2 children under 4 yrs old. When I was making the payment, I also added a 3rd adult, and the rate went up to over $880! Over $300 for adding 1 adult??!!! Seems a little ridiculous ... are we supposed to not mention a 3rd adult and just have that person say without informing the hotel? Beautiful Waterfront Hotel

Hotel and lake view are beautiful. Convenient location within walking distance to town. Boathouse Restaurant and Bar was nice. Food was good and service was great. Loved the wood floors in the rooms and the decor is lovely.

Our bathroom was very small and a barn door or a pocket door would be a better solution so 2 people can fit in the bathroom together to get ready. We continually had to close the door to get move between the shower to sink and toilet area. Also the shower is very tight especially with the handicap bar so close to where you have to stand to be under the shower head.
