The location was excellent. The kitchen was well-appointed and excellent. We cooked for ourselves during nearly the whole trip and used nearly all things for food preparation. The living room was spacious (especially for 2 people) - and we used it for setting up the giant drying rack (we washed closed many times and there is no dryer). The bathroom hot water/shower and pressure was excellent.
When we first arrived (around 7 p.m.), house-cleaning hadn't been completed (there were piles of used towels/linens) and we had to call to get new sheets/towels, etc. The host had someone at the house within an hour to fix that, which was appreciated. We also had a 2-day cold-spelling during our stay and had to use some of the space heaters to warm up the living room - which promptly shut down the electricity in the whole house... so we had to call the host to find the fusebox and fix that. There is a strong mold smell in the bathroom (specifically coming from the sink area) that should be addressed. The double bed was too short and very, very soft - the mattress seemed very old, with a sunken spot in the middle. We stayed during midnight sun time and it would be nice to have "black-out" or heavy curtains to cut the light more in the bedrooms. Many windows in the living room also don't open. When we arrived, everything was unplugged or turned off (including the water going to the washing machine). We were confused at first - especially because housecleaning wasn't done. If things don't seem to work at first - check the plugs and water lines!

Need to have blockout curtains. Found it hard to sleep as was so light

A very nice comfortable location with a splendious view to the sea. The kitchen was well equipped. Very good support in case of questions.
We were missing the heating in the bathroom, but could use the heating from the sleepingroom instead.

We love the character of the house, we loved the location, and we loved Reine. Thank you for letting us stay at your house.
As a short term renter of the house, laundry detergent, paper towels and plastic wrap would have been nice. The filter in the dishwasher was gross. The kitchen table light was burned out, we replaced it with a way too low wattage bulb that we found. (Now that it’s getting dark at night our daughter found it hard too see to cook [she had been hiking till after midnight]). Also we found some of the lights flickered. None of the rooms had darkening shades (only metal blinds with light weight curtains) and one room didn’t even have the metal blind. The foam mattress for the largest bed was ill fitting, so it wasn’t as comfortable as should be. The door handle to this bedroom fell off (actually it had been glued on!). I never found any pot holders. Also there was only one cushion for the outdoor patio furniture.

Nice location. Super nice ocean view
There's no paper towel or tissue in the kitchen. The queen bed is too soft. Everything else is good.

The location was fabulous, right on the sea although one can't access the sea. There was plenty of space downstairs.
The mattresses were very stained. The windows were bolted shut.

Hard to differentiate what we did not like :) Our experience was fantastic. In this beautiful, charming house you'll experience how tradition meets modern equipment. I really like what has been done with the place. It was cozy and warm and most of all: peacefully quiet! The conversation with our host was excellent. We have received all relevant information timely and spot on. The kitchen is equipped beautifully. Very easy to cook. In every room you have a radiator and an air con in the big and comfy living room. The dishwasher and the washing machine were small - which is perfect if you are only there for a few days. The view is magnificant, a true gem at the sea! Perfect located for everything you want to do in Reine.
For my personal taste, the mattresses were too soft, but that is an individual comfort.

good location, nice sea view
The power system capability cannot afford enough household appliances. If turn on two heating machines, the circuit breaker always tripped. Super cold at night. Need to repair.

The location is excellent with beautiful sunrise and mountain views. It is only a few minutes walk to the bridge where you can take overview photos of the village. Kitchen is well equipped. Rooms are basic but comfortable.
The only bathroom is on the first floor while the three bedrooms are upstairs, which may be difficult for older individuals who gets up frequently at night.
