Für 2 Nächte absolut ok, zudem gut organisierte Trekking Tour mit tollen Guides über die Unterkunft

Flexibilität beim Essen, es gab einen geschützten umglasten Raum mit toller Aussicht. Zur Essensbestellung brauchten wir nur zu klingeln, das war den ganzen Tag über möglich.

Zum Teil nicht mehr ganz sauber.

Das Personal und Essen war ganz ok.

Leider war das Zimmer dreckig und alt und verkauft als Deluxe Room. Die Bettwäsche war dreckig und feucht. Die Lampen hielten nur hegen die Wand gelenht zusammen. Die Dusche sehr keimig und auch die " tolle" Aussicht war leider von Bauruinen gesäumt. Das "Restaurant " war ein Glaskasten mit 4 lieblosen Tischen drin und einer Klingel über die man ggf. Eine Bestellung aufgeben kann. Die bisherige "gute" Bewertung kann ich nicht verstehen.

Tolle Lage am See, schöne Aussicht auf die Caldera, Essensangebot, nettes Personal, schöne kleine Villen mitten in dörflicher Umgebung

Nie warte tej ceny

Obiekt jest położony z widokiem na jezioro, domki są wygodne z tarasem przy basenie. Właściciel bardzo przyjemny. Ugościł nas i od razu zorganizował nam wyjazd na wulkan z wspaniałą przewodniczką.

Do obiektu trudny dojazd, mały teren i brudno. Wszędzie łaziły koty. Na tarasie były żygowiny i odchody kocie. Nie czułam się komfortowo.

Fantastic villa with Like view

Fantastic! i loved this place so much! Stayed in the Garden view villa, was super clean! Komang, the staff was amazing. His breakfast services were fabulous! Beautiful villa, so much space! Big pool with lake view, i love it. Would highly recommend staying here, far from a crowd area of bali!

Cold weather, be ready with jacket.

Beyond our expectations !!

Beyond our expectations!! Villa is absolutely stunning, surrounded by flowers and the greens. Nice view from of the lake and its quiet villa. Komok and his staff are super friendly, representing Balinese people they are always happy to help and do their Best. My favorite part is a stunning view pool with delicious floating breakfast. we will definitely come back here again.

So far so good, we love all about the villa.

Fantastic Stay in Kintamani

Fantastic place to see the real Bali. The owners and staff are lovely people. We were greeted with a wonderful welcoming and a very friendly service from the moment we Arrived. Vill Danu has Amazing views everywhere. It has extremely comfortable beds, exceptionally clean and well-presented Rooms with hot water. You do not need air conditioning as the nights are very cool all year round. Treat yourself to some Local food and drinks at the bar that looks out over Lake Batur. From here also are spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Mountains and one of them is Mt Abang,Mount Agung. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking in this area for a nice comfortable place to stay. And if you are lucky you can sit around the fire and enjoy the crisp clean night time air looking up at the millions of majestic stars! Thank you for a perfect stay . I cannot wait to visit Villa Danu again.

First of all, I love this place! Beautiful location with an amazing view, super friendly owner that makes feel you part of it. Perfect place for relax, private pool access, near Mount Batur. Best Villa in Kintamani

Villa Danu gave me a charming impression on my trip. The warmth and kindness of the staff added a special touch, making my visit truly memorable. The culinary experience is extraordinary, with a typical Danua Batur fish menu. The quality of the rooms exceeds expectations, offering comfort, and a swimming pool with lake views is a highlight. Villa Danu exceeds every expectation, creating the perfect setting for unforgettable holidays and business trips.

Great place and positive vib.

Loved this stay.staff make sure you feel like family. Clean,beautiful view 😍 I had the most amazing time at Batur Lake View! mowgli and his family are wonderful and warm hosts. I love the views of this place, and the location is perfect for climbing Mount Batur at sunrise, or exploring around Lake Batur. I really felt cared for during my stay. I lost my wallet on a trip to Bali as a solo traveler, and the host also helped me figure out my cash situation (helped find someone I could use PayPal with). Komang treats its guests like family, and I had a wonderful time chatting around the campfire in the evening. I did the Mount Batur exploration climb co-organized by the host, and it was amazing and great value.

Overall a very nice stay.

The bed in room 6 is a bit squeeky 😁 but overall a very nice stay. You can’t even be mad for the flies. Those are EVERYWHERE near that area. Also, someone should talk about how Grab and GoJek are not allowed in this area. But its fine if you are willing to bargain a bit.

Een nacht is voldoende als je alleen de zonsopkomst wil meemaken.

Dichtbij de vulkaan om de zonsopkomst te zien. De behulpzaamheid van het personeel.

De vliegen in de regentijd veroorzaakt door de mest van kippenstront. Wij bleven hier twee nachten. Dit is niet nodig als je de zonsopkomst wil zien. Een nacht is voldoende. Wij dachten hier nog te rondlopen nabij het meer. Dit is echter niet mogelijk. Er worden hier ook locale toeristen ontvangen. Bij ons was dit zo, dat het onmogelijk was om het restaurant te gebruiken omdat deze mensen het kookgerei en ingrediënten zelf hadden meegenomen in het restaurant. Anderen werden gedwongen om het diner op de kamer te nuttigen. Daarnaast was er veel geluid door spraak en een musicblaster zo dat wij verplicht waren daarvan mee te genieten. Het personeel was echter niet bij machte om dit te stoppen.

nice view and staff but could be improved

nice view with the pool over the lake and the room was spacious and comfy bed. staff was nice and kind. food was good.

Séjour décevant, qu’une seule envie : PARTIR!

La chambre est très agréable et bien aménagé. Le lit est très confortable.

L’hôtel n’a pas une super location. Le personnel n’est pas agréable et le petit déjeuner est plus que médiocre. Nous avons demandé des pancakes bananes qui est une spécialité à Bali et ce que nous avons reçu était décevant.

Vue impressionnant ! Super sejour

Très jolie paysage autour de la villa. La vue de lac avec montagne derrière est très impressionnant. Personnel très sympa aussi.

L'endroit est un peu difficile à trouver. Il s'agit de problème adresse sur Google. Néanmoins, le personnel est assez réactifs pour nous guider le bon chemin. Il faut mieux arriver pas trop tard dans la nuit pour faciliter trouver le chemin.

Joli logement se trouvant dans un emplacement perdu

La taille du logement, la propreté, la piscine, le calme.

La route pour arriver à l'hôtel était horrible. C'est vraiment très dommage que de si jolies structures aient de si mauvaises routes pour y accéder. Il n'y a rien autour du logement, pas de commerce. Juste le restaurant de l'hebergement.

Too many problems, recommend to stay away

We had a great experience with our Mount Batur hike, thanks to our guide Yuni. This was arranged through the hotel. The room is okay and it’s a quiet hotel. The pool is nice. Communication on WhatsApp with Mowgli was good and quick.

Quite some points unfortunately. Lots of noise at night from motorbikes and dogs. There is construction going on directly next to the hotel. The direct view is building sites. Different to what we expected. The road to the hotel is absolutely horrific and very hard to reach by car or scooter. Almost all the food we ordered was.. really bad. But you don’t have much choice when you don’t feel like taking the very bumpy road to and from the hotel. Staff’s English is not good, except for the one guy. Mowgli arranged some things for us, including transport to Padangbai and the boat to Gili Air. He drove us and was really aggressive in traffic and went really fast. Once there, we were dropped off at his friends office, then taken to another office, then taken to a restaurant. It all felt a bit sketchy. We felt ‘handled’ and like we were in a scam, even though it wasn’t. It was just the way things went. Mowgli is friendly and helpful, but at the same time it felt a bit off and very different from our previous encounters on Bali. We recommend finding another place to stay, nearer to Kintamani Coffee, where there are more restaurants and coffee places. Or maybe just doing the Mt Batur hike from Ubud. We did not really find the area worthwhile to stay in overall. Thanks again to Yuni whose company we absolutely enjoyed. We took the longer route down from the top, where we did not encounter any more tourists. Well worth it. All the best! UPDATE: We have entered multiple reviews through Google which disappeared not much later. I think they are deleting reviews? Google now says the hotel is permanently closed. Maybe to counter bad reviews. Hopefully they are able to improve on things.

Didn’t live up to expectations for the price paid and for what the pictures show online.

Big spacious room. Comfy bed. Wifi was good. Mowgli was good at organising. Nice views

The wait for food and water. There was no refill water station. Some staff had limited English at times which made it difficult. It doesn’t look exactly like it does in pictures online.

Friendly and helpful staff, good food, comfortable room, nice pool with a view and not far from the thermal springs. We even did an amazing hike organized by Mowgli and his guides. Thanks for accommodating all our requests !

- Bumpy road to reach there but most of Bali is like this :) - lots of flies during the day, but luckily they disappear at night :)

Disappointing

In a convenient location for the Mount Batur hike.

The villas were in a very poor location that was extremely difficult to get to. There is no where around to get food and no supermarkets. The breakfast choices were poor. The room was ok but smelt strong of garlic. No one cleaned our room or topped up our water and it was very noisy. Book your mount Batur trek before arrival as we used ‘Mowgli’ (based at the hotel) who over charged us. He claimed we were paying extra for a longer and better hike but not where everybody else went. This was definitely not the case when we got there we were hiking up the mountain with the other hundreds of people.

Pricy for what you are getting. Sink in the room didn’t work, the bathroom is half-finished. zero noise isolation, can hear all the scooters in the neighborhood. not very clean from the previous stay. Save your 50usd for something else.

Convinient and chill for your Batur experience.

Green areas with a gorgeous mountain and one view, the rooms were spacious and the pool view was super nice, convenient restaurant. We loved Mowgli, he’s in charge and makes everything easy and nice for us, we booked our Batur tour with him, then he took us to the spring waters and even to Ubud, so a totally worries free trip and we made the best of our trip in Kintamani thanks to his lovely attitude and hard work.

I guess it’s just for the location and season but the room was super humid and the bathroom smelly, was clean but had a strong smell that I don’t think they can do much about it, we put some perfume and got over it, we didn’t use the pool because was super cold but it’s nice to lay down there and take the sun enjoying the view.
