Beautiful and clean. Charming rooms with condiments on bed to greet you.
Little bit noisy at night.

Location was great, staff helpful, breakfast was good, lovely hot water/shower
Noisy evening, due to band playing live music event.
Furniture needs an update.

Wonderful staff, amazing food. The room was comfortable and in a wonderful location, close to everything. Breakfast was great, scenery from the hotel was to die for.
Nothing to complain about.

Tintagel is a lovely village with plenty to explore. The castle is a must so make sure you visit when it's open and be aware that it closes if its too windy. We can highly recommend the Wootons Inn. It's perfectly placed right at the entrance to the castle and we found the staff very friendly. The Breakfast was amazing.
Nothing to write here

We had a 2 night stay here for our anniversary , beautiful location everything in the village you need lovely pubs , but I can honestly say the food in the wootons inn was the best we had to eat there especially the breakfast , very clean and tidy , and the bar staff couldn’t do enough for us , they were so friendly , would defo recommend it.
The only thing I would I’d said was missing was the two nights we were there the tv was in in the bar and football was blaring out we are no foodie fans so we’d have enjoyed a juke box or music on the tv for a change

Location is fabulous perfect for the castle and the town
Breakfast took a long time to come and was not the best when it arrived
4.1
It was very old school but so relaxed.
The room was big and comfortable and the bed was out of this world.
They needed a greater choice of veggie food. I had the veggie curry which was not great and the Nan breads were totally limp.
4.1
Cooked breakfast
Toast arrived before main food. No option of getting more toast. No option of croissants or 2 halves of tomato.

The location cannot be faulted. It is on the main street of Tintagel, adjacent to the ticket office and the start of the path to Tintagel Castle and near to other attractions, including the Old Post Office. Countryside and coastal walks are conveniently close. The views from the hotel’s public rooms and some bedrooms across the wooded valley to the isolated, ancient parish church are great. The inn’s car park is convenient and adequate albeit on a very steep slope. Breakfasts and dinner were first rate, well cooked and good portions. The dinner menu is not extensive but more than adequate for most tastes whilst the request to place breakfast orders by the previous evening was not onerous and meant that the food arrived without delay.
There were a few very minor maintenance issues, such as the broken door handle to the room and toilet roll holder in the bathroom, but they did not really detract from the enjoyment. The room was not serviced during our 3-night stay but the friendly staff were very willing to provide top up supplies when asked.

Breakfast was lovely. Hot on arrival. Great choice.
Been there before. Knew what to expect.

Excellent location to explore Tintagel
Front of building looks unloved. The glass fronted room used for storage is a missed opportunity to entice passing custom.
Flies buzzing around during breakfast should've been dealt with before guests sit down to eat.

The description did not match the initial perception and did not meet our expectations so we decided not to stay at the Wooten arms so cancelled our stay. We were charged one nights cancellation costs, which was to be expected.

Excellent location, right at the entrance to Tintagel Castle and down the road from shops and pubs. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot and tasty.
We stayed on a Saturday night and unfortunately the pub downstairs was very noisy. The check-in and check-out process wasn't great - we had to go looking for someone to help us (although when we finally found someone, they were very efficient).

Friendly staff. Good food. Good pub atmosphere.
4.1
loved the location and the fact it was dog friendly . very clean and friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you
couldn’t watch the TV other than channel 1,2,3 & 4 as Wi-Fi couldn’t reach the room I assume, still not a major thing though
4.1
Very substantial and always came hot with lovely toasted bread.
From a personal point I would have liked some fruit but that’s just my opinion as the breakfast was still very good
4.1
Friendly staff. Great location.
Great breakfast.
Looked in need of updating. A little tired.

4.1
Very good breakfast
4.1
Location is fabulous, great views of the village and well positioned for all the sights and amenities
One minor gripe - we had the accessible room which was a good size and very comfortable, but, and I know its a H&S issue, the safety light above the exit / door was soooooo bright you could read a book by it.... Guidance has to be adhered to - unfortunately

EVERYTHING WAS REALLY GOOD AND VERY FRIENDLY WITH ANIMALS
I lost my bag and they helped me find it very nice town
4.1
Lovely large room for us and our dog. Very comfortable king bed. Coffee, tea, water and biscruits in the room. Great food in the evening with good service. Very good bottle of wine, all this at reasonable prices. The football was on in the bar, so quite noisy, so they put us in the back area which was lovely. Superb breakfasts.
Nothing.

Not obvious where to check in, Noise from bar .

We were made very welcome and given a ground floor room with excellent facilities, for which I was most grateful, having mobility issues. The breakfast was superb.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. Nothing was too much trouble.
