About this cottage rental
A grand property set in the Cathedral grounds, with stunning views across the green to the Cathedral, 2 St Faith's is an ideal place to stay and enjoy everything Chichester has to offer. Situated in the heart of this historic city you are just a short stroll from the city's restaurants, shops, art galleries and theatre.
With four bedrooms, this wonderful Georgian Grade II townhouse can accommodate seven people across two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one single room.
The living room is on the ground floor and has been beautifully refurbished to an excellent standard. You can relax here after a day of exploring and look across the lawns to the Cathedral itself. There is a good-sized fully equipped kitchen that has everything you will need to effectively self-cater during your stay with a dining table seating eight. There is also a small courtyard for drinks alfresco in the summer months.
2 St Faith's has been newly decorated throughout and makes the perfect base from which to enjoy the many Goodwood festivities, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival. During the Revival if you take a five minute walk to the train station a vintage bus runs up and down to the event during the day. Tinwood Estate Vineyard is also a short fifteen minute drive if you want to taste the best of what British sparkling wine has to offer – the wine tasting makes an excellent afternoon out! Finally, don't miss out on a visit to the nationally acclaimed Pallant House Gallery and to Chichester Festival Theatre one of the UK's flagship regional theatres.

The location of this property can not be faulted, it is opposite the cathedral and a few steps from all the restaurants and shops. The property itself really needs updating in my opinion, there are very squeaky beds and disappointing bathrooms for such a big property (there is one bathroom with a shower cubicle on the second floor, and one very small bathroom on the third floor with a shower over a very small bath tub, so we had four adults staying in the two double rooms on the second floor and all had to share one shower that the drain kept filling up). The kitchen is very basically equipped with very few cutlery and plates, so we were constantly washing up the few that we had.

We gathered three family units from three countries for one big family stay at St Faiths and we would absolutely do it again. The location is fantastic, we easily walked into Chichester any time we needed something or wanted to eat out. Local walks, as well as forays into the nearby countryside were simple too. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms ensured everyone had comfort and privacy, and the living room and dining room gave us just the right space to play board games or relax. Pleasing three generations, plus spouses, is not easy but it really worked at St Faiths. Highly Recommend!

we loved it, house was amazing.location was brilliant and the general area was wonderful.
sadly for us ladies in our 70s the stairs to the second floor were very challenging which made our stay difficult in that respect.
and maybe that should have been listed on the property details.

Really great location incredibly convenient for my parents who can't walk that far now. Comfy beds and decent rooms. Only slight reservation was the lack of crockery - we had to buy some bowls - there were only 4 of us so 6 would have stretched the kitchen further. A bit pricy but understandable given the location - step out of the front door and get a spectacular view of the east end of the church.

Everything was perfect from the quality of fittings, correspondence and even ease of parking in enclosed parking courtyard. The keypad on the front door was a great idea . It was central but very quiet at night!!

We have stayed at St Faith's on many occasions and always love our time there. The house's setting in the grounds of the Cathedral is magnificent as are the views from the windows. The Georgian house itself is charming, comfortable and quirky with two of the bedrooms in the eaves. It's easy to feel at home there. The two bathrooms and four loos make it convenient for a group stay. We love its central location.
Henry Adams are always helpful and easy to deal with. The team at the Cathedral go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay.

St Faiths is a beautifully located property in the Cathedral grounds and easy walking distance to all the amenities Chichester has to offer. Contact with the hosts was quick and efficient, and we had no issues with the property at all. It is a shame that there is only a small space at the back of the property to enjoy the sun, but given the location, not surprising. All in all a property I would be happy to recommend

Wonderful 10 days in a period house with all the features you need. Look out the window and see the cathedral in all its glory any time of day. Short walk to all four city gates. A real sense of history from the Roman time to today. Unforgettable experience.

We were in the area for a wedding and rented the house as a family of 6. It was perfect. It was beautiful, charming, comfortable... The agents were really helpful for parking (and finding the house!). The location was just blissful. Such a privilege to be in such a lovely house within the cathedral grounds. I loved it.

A very special house in a perfect situation.
We have stayed at St Faith's four times now. The house is charming, comfortable and well set up for guests. During the second week of our last stay two of our party tested positive for Covid felt unwell and needed to self isolate. Despite this holiday set back they enjoyed the house and took great pleasure from the views over the Cathedral. It feels very special to be staying in the beautiful Cathedral grounds and I looked forward to my daily walk around the Bishop's Gardens. We enjoyed how peaceful the house is but also appreciated living right in the city centre. The team at the Cathedral could not be more welcoming and go above and beyond in their efforts to help.

Perfect location to explore Chichester
2 St Faiths is great accommodation in an amazing setting within the Cathedral grounds. It's perfect for exploring Chichester or the surrounding beaches and South Downs. There was plenty of space for the 7 of us with some lovely rooms. Henry Adams were great in all the communications we had we them.

Luxury stay in the heart of Chichester
The house exceeded our expectations. The location cannot be beaten, so central and on the beautiful cathedral grounds. Views are superb. The accommodation itself was extremely comfortable and spacious and the decor was lovely. The booking process was very easy and help was on hand when we encountered an issue with the heating which was resolved on the same day. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, can’t wait to return.
