We loved the cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere. Will be back. Thanks

The condo was conveniently located and very clean. Vacasa makes all logistics smooth and simple. This worked out great for a company work trip.

I love the condos are updated. Being on the golf course, yet close to town is great

This was our third time at this condo in 3 years. The first year it was dirty. Then I saw in the reviews that the cleanliness was improving in 2021, so we went back and were pleasantly surprised. We were going to make it a family tradition every summer. NOT NOW! This year was the worst by far. The condo was filthy. Dirty dishes in cupboards, baked on coffee in the filthy dirty coffee pot (it was literally brown from burning onto the pot), stiff and musty towels, fireplace was still not working, and a gas safety issue (we couldn't use the stove), etc... (I could go on and on!) I reached out before we left, and the day we left. I received emails telling me that the "local management team" would get back to me. After one week back home, I emailed again was told that the "local management team" denied my request for a cleaning fee refund. No one even called to find out what the gas problem was all about. I would think that would be pretty a concerning safety issue. Wondering if it was even addressed? Not the customer service and hospitality we were expecting for the price. Pretty disappointing!

Response from the property management was non existent. I guess they responded to tell me they were working on things and to be assured, but never resolved anything. It’s kind of a bummer, I think it’s common with large management companies. They sent our issue to the local manager and we never heard from them. We just went and bought what was missing, which were trash bags. Seems like it should have been pretty easy to resolve.
The place was great with each bedroom having an en-suite and the location was really good.
We go to resort towns a lot, I’ll avoid Vacasa properties when possible.

The property was lovely and comfortable, but the fireplace wasn’t working and it was the defining reasons for renting this property. Also, the rooms were clean, but the shower was not which was not noticed till the next day after giving a 5 for cleanliness. The soaker tub was lovely, but we ran low on hot water before it filled up entirely. We loved that a streaming device was available and enjoyed watching the deer grazing on the golf course. It was nice to have access to a garage, but couldn’t figure out how to use the code. Thankfully there was a key to get in the side door. We had a lovely time, it just wasn’t perfect.

We had a wonderful time, beautiful home. We were able to see deer right off the back patio. Neighbors were kind and polite. All check in information and check out was a smooth process. Vacasa was responsive to our needs. I would stay again.

Upon arrival the house wasn’t ready for us, meaning it hadn’t been touched by housekeeping since the lady tenant. Beds were stopped, dirty linen and kitchen wasn’t cleaned. I contacted Vacasa and finally talked to a human, which then told me I would be contacted in 15-30 minutes from someone local. 30 minutes passed and I received no phone call. I then called back the Vacasa answering service and complained. I kept asking to talk with a local supervisor about the situation and all I got in response was “we are communicating with them.” After a long frustrating call, I demanded a refund and stayed the night in a hotel. In the morning I got a text that the rental was ready and the house was clean. I did get my cleaning fee refunded and a nights stay. They house was overall nice and had a perfect relaxing location. But the local Vacasa service isn’t the best.

Nice and clean, roomy, great views, quiet.
Unfortunately the fire place did not work and the fridge didn't seem to stay as cold as it should. We enjoyed our stay non the less.

Spacious and comfortable home
Excellent place to stay if you have a family that both skis downhill and nordic. Ponderosa State Park, full of nordic ski trails, is walking distance. The home is very comfortable. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (downstairs one also accessible through front hall). Easy kitchen.

Condo on the greens
Our fireplace did not work, they came and put propane in when we were leaving, so assume that was the problem. McCall Idaho is a mile high city and the altitude bothered my husband so we had to cut our stay short. But loved the location, condo, check in and check out.

This is a relaxing vacation condo!
We really enjoyed this property, especially for it's close proximity to Payette Lake and Ponderosa Park. The deck was a great place to catch some fall sun and watch golfers and a daily parade of deer munching on the course!
The condo itself is comfortable with a few exceptions: there isn't adequate nighttime lighting for the path from the garage or the porch. There is no hand railing for the front steps, which is important for the safety of those of us with a new hip.
We only used the master, which was spacious and the bed was super comfortable, but the room was super dusty.
We will definitely consider staying here again!

Had a wonderful time!
We loved the location and the home is beautiful!! Our only problem was if you have any elderly or handicapped it is not friendly. The bath downstairs is a large tub with no grab bars and there are no rails to go up front steps.
That being said we had a lovely two weeks!!

What a great place to relax and recharge. The location is close to everything - town, the lake, hiking, and the golf course.

Great Retreat
Great Location. Easy to find. Comfortable with a nice view on the golf course. Would recommend bringing a fan for the bunk room to help cool it off in the evening as AC is not normally needed in the summer in McCall and not available in this condo.
The condo was spotless, complements to the staff. Everything seemed to work great. Hope to be back in two years.
Thank you for sharing

We stayed at this property exactly one year ago. You can see my 5 star review listed in with the other reviews. We rebooked this same house for this year as we loved it so much last year. Wow, what a mistake! The home has been completely neglected in a year. Totally trashed. I took dozens of pictures of the sad condition of this home, and made a list of everything that was not up to par. Before even entering the home, we had an issue with the door. You can barely get the door open. The door does not fit in the door frame properly. You can see where they’ve tried adding all different types of random weatherstripping to improve the issue (to no avail.) The locks were installed upside down. It’s hard to turn the locks to open the door, and once the door is unlocked, you really need to push it in order to get it to open. Once inside, we were met with dirt all over the floor and a weird smell. From there, it just kept getting worse.
For starters- there was dust EVERYWHERE! Whoever has been “cleaning” the home has not been dusting- at all. There’s a thick layer of dust on everything- even highly used / trafficked areas like the main coffee table, tv stand, etc. In the bathrooms, there are bath mats that have very obviously never been washed. They were soiled! I immediately collected them into a pile as I didn’t want to step foot on them at all. The freezer smelled gross- there was a broken, half filled ice tray, some old discolored ice packs, and a brown grocery sack waiting for us in there. Let’s talk about toilet paper. We rented this home for 4 nights with 6 people. There was less than half a roll of toilet paper in one of the bathrooms- the other two bathrooms had none! I mean, I understand not giving us your entire stash of tp- but you don’t even have a roll installed in each of the bathrooms? Speaking of toilet paper- the toilet paper holders in the bathroom just fall off when you try to unroll your toilet paper. They need to be tightened onto their anchors in the wall. The downstairs bathroom towel rack is ripping out of the wall- I wouldn’t suggest trying to hang a towel on that one. All of the bathroom toilets had urine around their base. The microwave had someone else’s food remnants left in it- pretty gross. The one non stick pan they provided for cooking has the non stick coating flaking off everywhere. Unless you’d like those flakes mixed in with your food, it is unusable. They left one dishwasher pod for our entire stay and requested we start a load of dishes before we left. I don’t know about you, but as a family of 6, we typically do more than one load of dishes in 5 days.
Moving onto the living room… the couch is stained and dirty. This could easily be resolved with a simple upholstery cleaning. Half of the lightbulbs downstairs were burned out and needed to be replaced. The master bathroom soaker tub had not been cleaned out- full of soap scum, hair, grime. The batteries to the remote had 1% upon our arrival and if we wanted to watch the smart TV, we would need to go purchase our home. As you can see, it was just one thing after another. We were so excited to stay here again, but all of these issues put a major damper on our stay, and we will never stay here again. What a bummer, as we thought we found our perfect vacation spot. If the owner is aware of all of these things, then shame on them. If not, I feel terrible that this is the way they’ll find out that their vacation home has turned into a dump.

Father's Day trip
Place was very nice. Tvs and bathroom in every room. Nice decor. Could have had a few more supplies like cooking oil, coffee, etc. Also, the air conditioning was either not working or locked on thermostat and wouldn't let us change it, so sleeping was uncomfortably hot... especially upstairs where the master bedroom is located!

Good location, convenient and spacious layout, right on the golf course!
The house was clean, free of smells or debris. Quiet neighborhood. The only small complaint is that wifi dropped sometimes and was not of the best quality overall - working remotely was difficult to achieve with dropped video calls. But otherwise, the wifi worked great. We enjoyed this home and looking forward to booking it in the summer to enjoy the green views of the golf course.

Nice place
Very much enjoyed the stay. Had to buy a snow shovel and ice melt as the walls were dangerous. Quite a few light bulbs were burnt out. Christmas decor in February was strange. The house was nice and enjoyed being there!

Great location! It was a short walk to Ponderosa State Park. The property was clean and spacious for a getaway with friends and family. Each room has a full size bath. Since the weather was beautiful, we were able to enjoy the deck and golf course view.

Nice place but needs improvement
The place itself and the location are fantastic! Unfortunately, for us, too many little things added up and would probably look for a different place next time..
You definitely have to be OK with not being able to get In touch with anyone and being on your own. We you prefer to have someone to call in case of anything. One example was the sink kept backing up with water and the garbage disposal did not seem to work. As a family who likes to eat their meals in, for the most part, this made the clean up annoying.
I don't want to go into everything, but one Big sing for me was that the cleaning was not up to par. None of the bathroom rugssuggestion would be to Upgrade sheets and

Absolutely Beautiful!
My husband and I booked this home for a place to stay during a 100 mile ultra run that my husband was doing; we could not have asked for a better home. It sits right on the golf course, within walking distance of Ponderosa State Park and about 3 miles from downtown McCall --which if you have never been, is a MUST! So cute. We had another buddy stay with us and he too was impressed with the house. It actually face timed his wife showing her the beautiful kitchen, big bedrooms, and living room. Great place to come for a family with kids and/or just having a retreat with friends. It was tranquil and just a pleasant place to get away from all the chaos of living in a big city! We highly recommend staying here!!!

Beautiful, on the golf course.
Three seniors stayed 2 nights for a golfing trip (one course each of 3 days). Great location, right on 7th hole of Aspen course in McCall. The family room TV has Hulu only, but the bedroom TVs do not, so bring your computer and HDMI cables to access Netflix or Amazon Prime or whatever.

Beautiful, convenient location
This townhouse is very convenient within walking distance to a public beach. We loved the layout of the home and the furnishings were appropriate. It was an almost perfect rental for our family. The following is by no means critical of the condo or it’s owners; we have strong critical opinions of the Vacassa rental platform and their claims:
Vacassa claims extra detail in cleaning high touch surfaces during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This was not what we found when we walked in, we had to clean and wipe down many surfaces. There was dried egg on the counter, smudges on the microwave and crumbs inside. Freezer had crumbs. Handprints on the glass doors. Exterior entryways and balcony didn’t say "Welcome Home" as they are unswept and dusty. There are various food stains or smudges on the dining table, TV console, and couch. Also dead bugs and spider webs on the screens inside the window. The baths had hairs in the sinks and on top of the toilet. During the pandemic it is very disconcerting to walk into such a mismanaged property; obviously managers and cleaning staff do not take seriously the COVID cleanliness protocol and do not value their job security threatened by reduced rental income or rental traffic through the Vacassa platform.

Dream retreat
Wow!! Not sure how to fit everything into one review. What an amazing stay! House was fully stocked. Very clean- this was VERY appreciated by my family. We stay in vacation rentals often and they often disappoint in the cleanliness department. This one did not! Spotless.
The view of the golf course is gorgeous- you have a deck on both the lower and upper floors. The bathtub in the master bath was a dream. This home is in the perfect location!!! Close to downtown, the marina and Ponderosa State Park entrance. We had a great trip. We plan to visit and stay again next year. Thank you!!
