Very comfortable and clean. Run by brilliant couple who provided excellent service, meals, laundry and in a fabulous location
Nothing - all great

The place is excelent and more, in a restored building in an traditional vilage. The rooms are so beutifull and convenient, and the people who own the place is so freindly. there is a small river just outside of the house, and the vegetables are from their garden, wonderfull. the best supper, and a good breakfast. Add a half of an hour to reach Dumbria but worth every minute.

Location was quite isolated.

The BEST stay on my 40+ days on the Camino. I arrived early and was kindly greeted with cold water and quickly escorted to my stunning, comfortable room. The room was incredibly clean with modern features in the bathroom and charming features throughout. The bedding and pillows were heavenly. I didn’t know I could sleep this well. Very tranquil.
Elena and Javier made me a delicious lunch and dinner using fresh ingredients from the garden. The wine and homemade cheesecake was absolutely divine. I enjoyed both meals outside along the small river overlooking the valley. The menu is gracious-Elena is sn extraordinary chef!
Although my Spanish is lacking, Javier went above and beyond to help communicate with me. The entire stay was peaceful, restorative, and very enjoyable.
I highly recommend planning your Camino walk to be able to stay in this little slice of heaven!
Thank you, Elena and Javier!
That I had to leave!

The hosts are amazing - they did everything and more to make sure our stay was comfortable. They made a wonderful dinner and breakfast for us as well. The room was warm and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and well taken care of. A wonderful stay along the camino. You should stop here on your way to Muxia.

Casa a Pichona is perfect! The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and clean … we had the whitest, crispest sheets I’ve ever seen! Our hosts, Elena and Javier, were incredibly friendly, helpful and fun - doing everything they could to make us feel welcome. (I wanted to stay longer!) The food is amazing: the best sardines I’ve ever had, but Pimientos of course the highlight! The fireplace was lit when we arrived, and there is also a beautiful balcony with great garden views. 6 stars out of 5!

The staff were very friendly, hospitable and welcoming. We had a very enjoyable evening meal and a very restful night.
The single problem we had in finding the guest house arose from the fact that we were walking towards Dumbria and on to Muxia on the Camino and the sign which indicates the turnoff to the Casa is oriented towards pilgrims walking in the opposite direction, from Muxia towards Santiago. Viewed by a pilgrim walking towards Dumbria the sign positioning is ambiguous and seems to be directing the walker further along the Camino. We did this and had to telephone the Casa for directions. We then had to retrace our steps having reached Dumbria and the municipal albergue. The sign needs to be unambiguous. The actual distance from the Camino to the Casa ought also to be noted on the sign as the path is overgrown and indistinct.

This was an absolutely superb place to stay whilst walking the Camino Muxia, just a short distance from the town of Dumbria. It was located in a peaceful little village and was the most beautiful building with a lovely veranda/garden. My room was so lovely, with gorgeous linen and a very comfortable bed. I also ate my evening meal there, plus breakfast. The food was superb. The host were so friendly and helpful.
There is nothing! It was wonderful!

Lovely couple we felt at home. Great location, very close to the Camino. Xavier and his wife are fully dedicated to the visitors and making sure our stay was perfect. Very good bacalao for dinner and an excellent breakfast. Very quiet rooms. Nothing much that they can improve really.
nothing to mention

This place was incredible! It was the highlight of my walk along the Camino Muxia. It was a small and beautiful place with such lovely hosts. They recommended an incredible Galician wine for us to drink, which we had in their lovely yard by the stream, and then we had an amazing dinner on their back terrace, with a view of the mountain we'd just hiked over to get there. The facilities were top line and the beds were super comfortable. This felt like a luxury hotel we were getting for a steal.
Nothing, just that we couldn't stay longer.

One of a kind.
Delicate and clean.looks like the owners think of every little detail to make it convenient and cozy.
The little stream, the garden, the room the food ... everything was perfect but above all the hospitality that was so lind and worm.
Coming from Muxia direction on the Camino there is lack of signs
