Totally disappointing - will not recommend this to anyone.

I was totally disappointed by this booking. Can't think of anything I liked on this trip except the view.

Location - extremely dangerous for females, unable to travel to the accommodation at night due to it being right next to an informal settlement. The showers were both problematic, the unit smelled, dusty and a dirty mop was left outside the sliding door. The booking agent was not interested in our complaints and we left 3 days earlier - lost alot of money and a crap family holiday.

Me and my family had a wonderful time, my young adult kids enjoy the facilities at the club house,

The appartment has potential to be a very nice accommodation as the views are breathtaking but it needs to be clean and

* Walls were extremely dirty, plugs lamps etc *Bulbs were all mostly blown *House was not in a good clean condition *The cleaning items (brooms etc) was in bad condition * There is a horrible grey water/ surrage smell in the on-suite bathroom that stays within the house ALL the time. * There needs to be a warning about the informal settlement outside the complex. * Beds are not in good condition *No wifi is a serious inconvenience

Disappointed visit

The view

Blocked wash basin drains, filthy clogged, cleaned both before we could use anyone. Frying pan still soiled old food. Bedding not washed or changed after last booking,found a pair of soiled socks inside the bedding of the double bed. No towels very inconvenient,no drinking glasses. Premises only reached by driving through and alongside squatter neibourhood. Could be dangerous

Disappointing

The veiw was great and the setup was satisfying

Small fridge Dated appliances Lounge suite Infestation with cockroaches even when we raised our complain it wasn't treated with priority but blame other apartments for the infestation which cleary wasn't true after discovering the infestation came from appliances. When we supplied evidence we didn't receive any response. Customer service stinks.

Plumbing was bad. water pressure not great and leakage from ensuite toilet. Needs a professional cleaning, litte upgrade and will be a 5 star property.

I really enjoyed my stay, it was very relaxing and I would visit the beach club and same unit again.

Location was great, beach view was amazing. Pool was amazing, Facilities very good. The Unit set up was very nice. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

I did not like the notice in the kitchen regarding R50 deductible fee if kitchen is not cleaned by us on departure, as we pay R300 additional fee for cleaning already. The beds were very unstable, not solid enough, was scared it was going to break. Too little pots to work with when cooking, maybe one or two more needed. Needs new oven tops and microwaves, its both rusted. Needs an extra kitchen cupboard for storing groceries. Water flow in both showers was very slow and little. On-suite bathroom had a bit of smell throughout the stay, please have a look into that.

203 Hermanus Beach Club

The resort itself was clean and safe. The flat was relatively close to the beach.

It was obvious there is no pride in the establishment. Dirty walls, inadequate lights, many globes were fused, had to use my cell light to braai. The floors and carpets were filthy. The chairs and table on the patio had to be cleaned before we used them. Dirty cupboards, dirty and stained bedding, sticky utensils had to be re washed. Dust bin had no lid, place had a awful dirty smell, shower soap dish hanging loose, ants on the kitchen counter,. The informal settlement at the entrance is not only an eyesore but one is afraid of leaving the resort. With the overall condition one wonders if the bedding is even washed and what else isnt cleaned. The water pressure made showering a real drag together with a dirty shower floor. Toilet leaked when flushed. We were not provided with towels due to "covid" and were only informed about this close to departure from home. This should be informed upon making the booking.

Very disappointing

Well kept complex with convenient facilities and great sea view

Foul “sweaty” odour which made us doubt the cleanliness (no smell of cleaning chemicals which was expected between tenants). Almost everything is old and worn / deteriorated (poor quality or condition of fittings, appliances, furniture, equipent, etc). Beds are uncomfortable. Informal settlement in very close proximity.

Good

We liked the view, and coolness of the apartment although the temperature was 30deg. We also liked the close proximity to the pool and clubhouse. The complex atmosphere was also very relaxed and chilled.

The entrance to the resort did initially scare us with all the informal housing. However this had no influence on the stay or the security. General cleanliness could have been better and minor maintenance items that need some attention.

The Awesome Sea Views from The Lounge & 2 bedrooms.

I found Condoms in the ensuite bedroom reported to The Agent,she told me she's gonna talk to her Housekeeping staff but I must remember it's a Self Catering Unit not a Guest house.Hair in the shower & kitchen floor.
