About this house rental

Step into this well designed house and you will experience a feeling of calmness and sophistication. Enjoy dinners while looking out the mountains and listening to an old record on the vinyl player. Stargaze using the telescope at night and grill some s'mores over the open fire pit (when there is no fire ban). Sleep in one of the comfortable beds before you head out on a hike at the national park.
The house provides an escape from the noise and stress of the urban city life. The home is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood in Joshua Tree. The three bedrooms, two baths comfortable sleeps six people. The living room, kitchen and dining room has an open floor plan which creates a nice flow. The exterior patio is spacious with dining table, chairs, lounge chairs and bbq.

Cia is a great host, we love her place , all of us had a great time, was able to check in early, thanks to Cia, Property is only 20 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, great location, will stay here again if I plan to visit Joshua Tree National Park.

We were finally able to gather together after four years to explore another national park. My brother, sister and I have been doing this for 24 years. Joshua Tree was chosen because my brother lives in Palm Springs. This house was perfect for us - great location for getting to the park for hikes. Very easy to get into town for delicious late lunches. Beautiful view of the mountains out the back of the house. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was terrific with communication. Highly recommended

This property was perfect for are girls weekend! Close to the start to the race and close to the park! The landscape in the backyard closed every night with its majestic views. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

We really enjoyed our stay. Every detail to comfort was there. The view from the backyard was beautiful. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The host was very responsive and professional. Check in was easy.

We had a great time at this house. It was clean, looked exactly like the pictures, and communication with the host was very quick and helpful. It was also stocked with anything you might need and the some! Would definitely recommend as a base for Joshua Tree NP. It’s so easy to get from the house to the West entrance.

We loved staying in this house! The house was spacious, clean & as described in the listing. The house was very well appointed with everything we could have needed on our trip (and more)! The owner was very communicative with us leading up to & during the trip. Great location right outside the entrance to the park. Very quiet neighborhood. I would book again for a future trip!

The minute you pull up to the Cherokee House you can see it is a well-kept property. Honestly I've never stayed in any kind of home rental as nice as this. The house is well-appointed, lots of places to sit, eat. Bedrooms / baths were impeccable. She even provided a tray of snacks upon arrival - AND - there is a well-stocked Nespresso machine. The kitchen had everything you needed and there is a center island perfect for food prep. TONS of spices (such a rarity!) The beds were SOOOO comfy. Lastly the Hostess, was very responsive to the few questions we had along the way. I'm so happy we stayed here - felt like a home away from home :) Oh - it is super close to the JT National Forest - we went several times in the week we were there. Such a treat.

Very close to the Joshua tree park entrance. Had nice amenities and very clean. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, bbq grill, decent cookware, and nice backyard area with fire pit. Owner is super responsive. There was a small box of toys which was nice for our little ones. I’d come back again!

Wonderful location for visiting Joshua Tree! Beautiful backyard with a fire pit and outdoor seating was great in the cool evenings. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Highly recommend!

Our family of 5 had a great time. The house was neat and tidy when we arrived. It was such a nice home to spread out in. The backyard was enjoyable. And it is so close to the Joshua Tree entrance and restaurants. Loved the magic of the desert!

Perfect house for us — 3 adults visiting Joshua Tree National Park for five days. Perfect location— quiet street, the back of the house faces directly into the desert / mountain landscape. Peaceful, calm, awesome! Loved the fireplace, artwork, and fully equipped kitchen. Delightful restaurants( especially La Copine and Kitchen in the Desert) near by, Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Museum and entrance to National Park all easily accessible. All in all— great spot! Great host!

Great location to access Joshua Tree National Park. Backyard was perfect place to hang out in the evening. Fire pit was cozy and star gazing was breathtaking! House was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were really comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joshua Tree at this lovely home. House was just as pictured - very well kept and clean. We enjoyed the time there and loved the gorgeous sunrises from the backyard. Perfect location for convenient entrance into JTNP.

We have stayed at the Cherokee House multiple times! The decor reflects the JT vibe, has great sunrise/sunset views off the back porch and is so close to the park! It's the perfect cozy spot for a getaway to unplug and relax.
