Relax at the Tortuga Inn Beach Resort Condo #229, just steps from a private beach on charming Anna Maria Island. This 2nd floor condo overlooks a lush tropical courtyard with native palms & flowers. Grab a lounge chair at the larger of the 2 heated pools, just downstairs, or enjoy the beautiful white sand beach.
The condo is decorated in casual island décor and each room is furnished with a flat screen TV, free cable & wifi. The living room is bright and airy, with built in bookshelves and cupboards filled with board games. An electric fireplace adds to the cozy ambience. A breakfast bar separates the living room from the full kitchen which is equipped with full size appliances, including a dishwasher. Utensils, cookware, glassware and dishes are also provided, along with a coffee maker, toaster and more.

When you've had enough sun, take a stroll to Historic Bridge St or ride the free trolley that travels the length of the island to quaint restaurants and shops. Anna Maria Island has frequent street fairs & music events. Water sports, boat rentals & charters, tennis & golf are not far. Brochures about island attractions are available in the Tortuga office, along with a small cafe and gift shop.
The condo can sleep 6 in 2 BR/1 BA (1 queen, 1 twin) and a pull out couch. Linens & toiletries are provided.

We will definitely 💯 come back and stay at this property. The only issue was we were on the 2nd floor, no elevator, and logging all our bags and groceries was not pleasant. The unit was very nice, they supply you with all you need, the bounce, extra toilet paper😂 Kitchen is stocked, wine 🍷 opener included. The beach was directly across the street, chairs and towels are provided, the umbrella ☂️ is in the unit . Parking was not an issue. The most important is that they do allow animals!!! There is a charge of $65.00 plus tax. Quick drive to restaurants and bars. The staff is Super Friendly and VERY helpful.

Our flight arrived very late; instructions were provided in advane for directions on receiving our key and condo location. Condo was clean. The weather the first 10 days was cool, but we found the heating sysem worked well as did the AC when needed following this. We prepared many of our meals at the condo. Kitchen was stocked with cookware, utensils, dinnerware. Suggestions for additions would be a pizza pan/cutter and some small storage dishes with lids for leftovers. Grounds were well maintained. Pool was nice when the weather improved. Our only disappointment, and not to the fault of condo owner, was the lack of dog friendly areas (such as grass) for them to use for potty breaks. I was also unaware the beach was not dog friendly. Overall, he did fine in the condo as he does not bark or become destructive when left alone. Our thanks for allowing Buddy to stay with us as we were guests for 3 weeks. Thank you for a comfortable stay! Deb

The condo was everything we'd hoped for. Nice neighborhood, friendly people, lots to do. The beach was across the street from the condo complex. So easy! We will definitely be going back to this resort.

The condo was just the right size for our family of 4. Plenty of towels which is rare for a rental. Lived they had beach towels we could get everyday from the office. The heated pool was perfect for a few chilly days we had. The location is perfect. The trolly stops are right outside the building. The beach is amazing and so peaceful. We really enjoyed our time on AMI.

The property was perfect for a girls weekend get away! Comfortably slept five of us and very clean. Location was great in walking distance to restaurants and of course beach and pool were great, would definitely stay again!

This property was everything I was expecting and more. The location is IDEAL - right across the street from the beach , right next to the free trolley. The pool was amazing as well. The property itself was so well kept. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare all of our meals ourself. This was by far my favorite place we have stayed at so far and I can not wait to return next year.

The condo is in the perfect location on Anna Maria Island! Close to everything but not right in the midst of the busiest areas. Our condo had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. The Tortuga Inn was such a cute property- really felt like old Florida! The private beach across the street was a very short walk and never too crowded! Our condo had a beach umbrella and on the beach there were lounge chairs. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to come back again soon!

We loved our stay in this unit. It was so close to the ocean and having the beach chairs and umbrella available to use was fantastic!! It was very homey and gave us plenty of room for us and our two boys to be together and also have some time apart. Being within walking distance of a couple of restaurants was great as well! I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the Inn! Condo was exactly as described. Everything was clean and the front desk ladies were very nice and accommodating. I loved having beach chairs there, so we didn't have to pack them. It was also nice to have beach towels provided. My only draw back, we took our dog with us, but there really isn't a place for them to play or potty. We would definitely return to the Tortuga Inn.

We had an amazing time as a family of 5! The location of the Tortuga is perfect, easy access to the beach and the pool is easy to get to. The pools are warm! Everything you need to enjoy the sun, the island, the ocean and the pool.

This was such a wonderful experience renting this property. I love that I had the option to get it through Vrbo and pay with affirm. That was a huge blessing. Very clean, beautiful and the beach is right across the beach. For us, this was truly a dream come true.

The Inn was perfectly situated with multiple heaters pools, 50ft walk across the beach to a private access section with free full size lounge chairs available for Inn guests. You just leave them in the beach when done. Our condo/room was great. Lots of food options within walking distance. EVERY staff member was fantastic! We will always stay here when returning to the island!

We just completed a beautiful stay at this lovely condo. Very convenient , well appointed and our happy place. Only one suggestion - queen mattress needs replaced. Unfortunately this particular unit was booked by someone else for next year. We are still booked at Tortuga but another unit.

Fine except that there was no umbrellas for the beach. I brought my own however it was taken when we left our stuff there to go eat. And the air conditioning unit outside the bedroom was making a loud sound I'd let them know at the front desk.

We have been staying at the Tortuga for summer vacation about 8 years now. I did not realize the unit we rented did not have a washer and dryer, which is my fault, so this was inconvenient for my family of 6. The unit needed a little updating. The couches were really cute blue and white but a little dingy. The bathtub had a little mildew between the tiles as well. Otherwise it was clean and the staff is friendly.

As advertised. We had other friends staying at other places and they were very strict about the pool. They closed very early and were petty about other things. Not Tartuga Inn though. We had a blast at the pool even past closing. Very satisfied!

I stayed her with my two sisters to celebrate my sister's birthday. The location was great and the provided beach loungers and umbrellas were so convenient. We walked to the tiki bar in the beach and had dinner and drinks. Once you arrive there is no reason to drive your car!

The listing was exactly as advertised. First time on the island and after the first day we knew our time there wouldn’t be long enough. Took full advantage of the beautiful beach across the street, swimming pool and sitting on the pier. Full kitchen helped a lot with the kids and having snacks/quick made items along with the ever so needed coffee pot. If anything there is more offered than the listing covered- extra sand toys and floats to use by the pool came in handy and we left more for others to use. The free island trolly made exploring the island a breeze. Was able to walk to several restaurants for yummy meals. Truly a wonderful vacation - family favorite destination for sure!

We Scheduled 16 days at Tortuga It was a beautiful experience. Family stayed with us part of the time My wife and I Wanted to stay a couple days longer so we gave up the original 2 bed room unit and moved across the court yard to an efficiency unit. It was well appointed and a very comfortable king size bed It’s a perfect space for two. Staff, amenities , facility are all top notch !
