Son of owner, Narcicio spoke English, was very accomodating as if I were his long lost family member. The owner drove me to a local restaurant at dinnertime since the 4-generation farm house is a bit off the Camino and out in the country on a beautiful acreage. He arranged for the staff at the restaurant to drive me back to the farm house after dinner. Celeste and Manual have deep hospitality roots in Anha. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful place to arrive at after a long, rainy day on the Camino. It was so clean, comfortable and quiet, it was the best sleep I've had since arriving in Portugal. The lady that welcomed me on arrival was lovely and spoilt me for breakfast in the morning. Cafe Catete was just down the road and the very kind South African lady served simple, tasty, cheap food. It was a miserable January day and I was alone there but it was perfect. Thanks!
Nothing...

We enjoyed a quiet stay in this well built farmhouse during our biking camino. We stored our bikes in the garage and had the entire upstairs to ourselves because there were no other guests. The room was cool at night and we used the electric heater and extra blanket provided. Breakfast was beautifully presented and filling. The old well, laundry sink and wooden corn silo in the yard made the place very special.

As soon as we arrived the lady offered coffee and sandwich. She was super helpful, even washed our clothes. Even gave us the ingredients to prepare dinner. It was as if we were at home. Relaxed also in her well maintained garden.
Nothing as we liked everything.

We loved our stay at Dias house. The town is quiet and the house is like staying in a country villa. A small restaurant was easy walking distance. The owner was very nice and the breakfast was great. We definitely recommend this place.

Everything was super clean and the house was really well made by the owner. He gave me his own bike so i could get to the city centre. The Family was suuper lovely and friendly. They gave everything i asked for and even more! The beds were really comfy and I found my stay quite inspiring because of the way of live they are living. The owner even built a skatebowl by himself.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

It is an experience of living in a rural house. They have a parking of their own. The kitchen is huge for making your own coffee or tea or heating up meals.
The view from the room is beautiful.
They have a mini shop of drinks in the fridge which are really cheap.
They have fresh fruits from their farm in the kitchen for guests to use.
It is a rural house so it is outside the city centre of Viana do Castelo. You need a car for reaching this home. But the experience is worth it.

Access to
lovely kitchen and garden. Great beds and bathroom. A very kind and friendly family who really looked after us. We were exhausted on the Camino and they gave us bread, cheese and fruit for dinner and we were able to purchase wine. it was excellent.
The property was just great.

Property was a little difficult to find as my GoogleMaps got me close but I had to walk up and down to look at house number (hint: look for pink colored house). Lady checked me in and I was pleased to see why this property is highly rated. Sit in the back porch with a cup of coffee and look at the backyard and hills in the distance. Room was very nice, better than some real hotel rooms. The shared bathroom was better than what I have at home with a rainfall shower head.
Four things to call out. As I was sitting in the back porch, I could see the lady hanging out sheets to dry. She washed my clothes for me and hung them out. I ate an orange that (I believe) came from their backyard, it was one of the best oranges I've had! Breakfast (with fresh squeeze orange juice) was great also.
GoogleMaps was telling me the closest restaurant (and think there was only one) was about 1 mile away. Not a distance I want to walk for dinner after a hard days hike. Not their fault but would be nice if there were a couple more cafes/restaurants close by. So basically, some more food options would be good.
