Very cute home- beds were comfortable, everything we needed was there. Only downfall was the one bathroom but we knew that going in. We drove to Newport which was fun. We had a great stay!

Location is awesome! Nicely appointed, however the spiral stairs was a little tricky. Would definitely stay again.

The location is beautiful! The check in and check out process was very smooth, and the house was extremely clean. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed our weekend. The renter was responsive to our questions, the kitchen had what we needed, and the bedrooms were comfortable. The location is excellent and the view was great. It was cold one day and and the fireplace was lovely.
Not appropriate for small children or adults who shouldn't be climbing the spiral stair to the second floor! We didn't mind that.

The home was exactly as advertised, and while small, the open space was plenty roomy for our group of 3-4 adults plus an infant. The kitchen and bath were neat and contemporary. We really appreciated the little things…all the dishes/pots & pans, and glassware that we needed, but also games and other things (binoculars!) to help us enjoy our stay. The best part - the location! At the end of the point with private access to the bay, and a lovely deck to enjoy the gorgeous water views - we couldn’t imagine anything so peaceful and calming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Don’t let the small size deter you. Our family of 6 (including kids age 10, 19, 19 and 23) were very comfortable. Breakfast on the ample deck listening to waves lap on shore was lovely. We all loved the easy access to walks on the rocky shore. A couple of kayaks would be an ideal addition for the property owner to consider. Less than 30 minutes to Newport. We spent a day at Eastons beach and another doing the Cliff Walk. Cottage well appointed and nicely decorated. We’ve stayed at many vrbo properties and even though this one is on the small size we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Cozy space: be nimble for stairs
Four friends picked this cottage for a belated 50th birthday party. The spot is a sunny one, with skylights in the comfy 2nd floor bedrooms and no window shades on them: up and at 'em! Not ideal for a lie-in. Swank decor felt chic and thoughtful. Cooking was a bit of a struggle, and the coffee pit didn't work well. Anything critical of it can be easily remedied. Additionally, rue cleaning staff was prompt: as we were scrambling to pack and say goodbye, they were parked behind our cars: felt Very pressured to Get outta there. Quiet location, felt safe, and lovely, warm quiet inlet waters.

Stunning Views
Have vacationed in Rhode Island on numerous occasions, but this was our first trip to Portsmouth.
This area is not as crowded and there was plenty for us to do - including Sandy Point Beach, hiking trails (that brought us to Taproot winery and brewing!) and Green Animal Topiary Gardens. But the best part was family time at the house. The rental was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable with the necessary amenities. The views from the back deck were stunning and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening dinner and card games taking in the beautiful sunsets.
The location of this home offered lots of privacy and was ideal for long walks with the water on either side of the street.
We did experience a problem with the electricity, but the owner was responsive and worked with me to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. I would definitely consider returning for a future stay.

Cute Cottage
We were very happy with the locale and setting of the cottage. Nice, quiet end of street and right on the bay. It was a bit smaller than I figured on, but still adequate for 5 people. It was clean and nicely decorated. Our only issues were found in the kitchen: no recycling basket, very few useable pans when we were cooking a dinner & breakfast. Nothing to cook bacon in that didn’t stick madly! And the kitchen could definitely use more cooking accessories … no peeler, no masher, hand-held mixer or rubber spatula? ran out of plates & silverware pretty quickly. Just some ideas for future improvement. A kitchen range hood and bathroom fan would be nice additions as well, it got pretty smoky after cooking and the bathroom was steamy with only a tiny window to open. Lastly, some higher quality bed pillows and actual mattress pads would have made the sleeping arrangements perfect, the mattresses were quite comfortable. We don’t prefer sleeping on a mattress with just a sheet, memory foam gets really hot and it’s not much of a barrier to previous renters’ DNA?!

Peaceful getaway
We brought groceries with us and got to view the beach each morning, and gaze at the stars each night. Quiet and secluded. Just what we needed to get away

Quaint cottage with spectacular views
The cottage was located in such an amazing spot right on the water with spectacular views. We enjoyed simply sitting on the deck for coffee and drinks and gazing at the water and boats passing by. We also had a great time walking along the rocky / shell beach exploring the sea life at the waters edge and Common Fence Point, which gives a great 180 degree view. When it was slightly chilly we were still able to take in the view from the couch in front of the gas fireplace. We liked how the decor had modern touches but still felt cozy. The only minor complaint I have is that the floor is uneven between rooms but after a few trips I became more aware and cautious. I absolutely would love to stay at the cottage again and likely will next year.

Lovely water front cottage and magical view!
Thoroughly enjoyed a 4 night getaway at this lovely waterfront property. Was very clean and well equipped. The neighborhood is adorable and quaint and I felt very safe. Spent hours just relaxing on the deck staring out at the water, watching boats cruise by. I’ll definitely go back.

Perfect Getaway
We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. There was a total of 4 adults. We had a wonderful time. The house was spotless! All the furnishing were comfortable. The only bummer was the fireplace wasn't working, but there were plenty of blankets to snuggle up with. We absolutely love the location. The views were amazing. We hope to return on our next trip to Newport.
