This is an absolute amazing place to stay if you are trying to get away! My family and friends have been getting together to go hunting every Thanksgiving weekend for the last 12 years and this is by far the best place we've ever stayed. It gives the feeling of getting away while still ensuring a familiar home notion. The pool table is a fun addition for entertainment. The kitchen is furnished and we cooked breakfast and dinners everyday. This is place is super popular so if you get the chance to rent it, do it! We missed out last year but were super happy to get it again this year. I highly recommend staying here, just not Thanksgiving weekend because we want it every year : ). The property managers are super kind and helpful. The place is also super clean and the layout of the place is great! Lastly, the location of the place is right next to the downtown stores. Check them out if you can!

No issues at all. Plenty of room. Never heard from anyone which is just fine. Don’t worry about booking this one. Mike

We really enjoyed our stay but did have a few issues. For example, the dishwasher door was nearly impossible to shut and sometimes wouldn't stay shut. One of the pockets of the pool table would fall right off when a ball was shot into it. The grill was falling apart (the burners). The bed in the windowless bedroom squeaked quite badly (so loudly that it woke up the 4 month old baby). If the property manager took care of these things, it would be great.

House is absolutely beautiful! My kids had an amazing time! All the boats in the pictures are not actually on the property. But the fire pit outside and the air conditioning in everyroom was amazing not to mention the pool table. They have 2 large tables outside on the deck big enough for a 12 person family/group. Breakfast and dinner outside with everyone was very nice. Bathroom on first floor JUST BEAUTIFUL! YOU can really tell they took their time with this property! Loved every moment and cant wait to take my family back!

Had a great time staying at the house. 15 minutes from Forest Dune golf course.

Truly only 2 bed rooms with doors. The sleeps 12 is very generous as this include 4 of the full beds with 2 people each. Patio was nice and pool table was fun only issue we’re at bedtime.

Good Cross-Country Ski and Hike Location
The Roscommon house is spacious and allows for quiet and group visit areas within the downstairs living area of the house. The house is within a short walk distance to the Tisdale Triangle pathway which allows a nice hike and cross-county ski option. The few questions we had during out stay were promptly responded to by the contacts provided.
I lowered my cleanliness rating because the table placemats (needed for the dining room table) were in disarray with some being clean but most needing to be laundered. I also lowered my rating on the accuracy of the listing description due to the description of "an office with a sofa bed." The "office" where the sofa bed is located is actually in an alcove off the great room - with no door and in a pass-through hallway to the living room. It allowed no privacy or quiet for use of that sofa-bed.
Other than the two negative issues I mention, it is a very nice house in a good quiet location.

January 2022 ladies ski weekend
This was our second time back to this property for a ladies cross-country ski weekend. We come here because we know the house is clean, kitchen well supplied and it's close to Cross Country Ski Headquarters. I only gave it 4 stars this time because of a couple things. First, we had to shovel the snow off the front porch before we could bring our stuff in. It would have been nice if the cleaning crew had done this before we arrived. Second, the mattress on the hide-a-bed on the main floor needs to be replaced. The lady who was assigned to sleep there ended up having to sleep on the couch. There is no longer enough padding on the mattress, all she could feel was the springs.

winter escape
We had a great four day cross country ski get away. The house is a perfect location with trails right down the street and a place to rent skis a short drive away. The house has everything one would need. We enjoyed the pool table as well as the fireplace. The owners were very responsive when we had a quick question. It is located very close to the river . We may come back in the summer and try some kayaking. Excellent stay.

Bachelor Party - Successful Stay
We stayed for four nights and it was so great overall! Amazing place and plenty bug enough for all eight of us.
The communications with the property management company, Evolve was TERRIBLE. No timely responses and when they finally did get back with me they were less then helpful. They messed up our dates; they did not confirming reservation changes prior to adjusting our dates. Total mess and they never corrected it. Only after reaching out directly to the property owner did I get our reservation set up correctly.
Aside from that snafu... the stay was spectacular

Ladies get-away weekend
This property was perfect for our ladies cross-country ski weekend. We chose it because it's less than 10 minutes from Cross Country Ski Headquarters where even inexperienced ones could ski.
We found the house to be very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed many good meals at the large dining room table and hours of conversation around the cozy gas fireplace.
The manager answered all our questions in a timely manner and invited us to the restaurant where he worked, Fred's of Roscommon.
Overall, a great experience! I would definitely come back here.

Spacious home for a large group
We had a group of 6 adults and 2 small children, with plenty of room for all. The children had a big yard to play in. We loved sitting around the fire pit at night. The only negative was lack of circulation in one of the bedrooms.

Huge home, lots of space
My fiancé and I got married this weekend and had our wedding party staying in this home. We were absolutely ecstatic with how much space this place had to offer. We all had an amazing time and would love to stay here again in the future. Only problem I found with with a lack of lighting. Be sure to pick up some firewood and toilet paper, but other than that, this place is ready to go. Homeowner was very helpful and answered all of my questions within hours. Overall, loved this home!
