Very comfortable layout for entertaining, and relaxing. The perfect space for 2 couples. The beds and pillows were super comfortable

A lovely, well appointed cottage that is perfect for families

Such a lovely and comfortable cottage! The location is fantastic - in a lovely quiet neighborhood that’s just a few minutes drive from Blackheath shops and plenty of parks, walking tracks etc. The cottage is very well appointed with loads of dvds, books, puzzles and games. We travelled with our 10 year old, 4 year old and 9 month old kids and there were plenty of activities for them to play with, they absolutely loved it! The cottage was very clean and modern with great facilities, comfy beds and lovely central heating. There’s a smart tv with multiple subscription channels (Disney+, Prime, Netflix etc), a Nespresso machine, a high chair and even a stepping stool for young kiddos to reach the toilet or sink etc. Very thoughtful indeed. Eco friendly / non-toxic hand wash, shampoo / conditioner and body wash were also provided in the bathrooms as well as earth friendly cleaning products. We had such a lovely time and would definitely book a return visit for our next stay in the mountains. The communication from the hosts was fantastic and very helpful too.

A nice comfortable base for exploring the Blue Mountains.

Very comfortable bed, good quality linen, nice quiet property. There was plenty of room in the living room, and a large, well equipped kitchen. It was good to have two bathrooms, one with a spa bath. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Some minor maintenance required (e.g. blind in kitchen). A larger paved area to park a car off the road would be good.

I tried to contact Accommodated when I booked through Booking.com as I did not realise that there was a secondary booking agency handling the property, this was not made clear on the Booking.com website, and Accommodated did not respond to my calls or my emails. I did not agree with the authoritarian/disciplinary/extremely strict set of rules that were provided to me after I had fully paid for the property. This did not provide any flexibility to have a family member or friend call in for a cup of tea or share a meal. This information should have been provided upfront before any money was collected, so that any guest knew exactly where they stood.

Perfect location for a mountain trip. Close to town and the national park, best of both worlds!

Perfect location to walk to town, quiet street with a leafy outlook. Great for a family or couples. Lovely large fireplace and comfortable lounge area. Considerate to have a small supply of olive oil, napkins, dishwashing tablets and cleaning stuff. Every area was clean and the linen was hotel quality. Very quiet location. We will be back again.

No full length mirrors in the house, which was only an annoyance as there were 6 people getting ready for a wedding. Otherwise it wouldnt matter.

A very pleasant stay.

The cottage has a lovely large back verandah and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The location is a pleasant walk to the shops. Communication with the hosts was excellent.

A bond of $300 is debited from your credit card when the final payment is made. It is returned a week after you leave. That was fine for us but just letting others know.

Loved the little extras, games for kids, comfy couches to relax in after our long days walk, large television with all the smart features, beautifull views and great location.

A great place to stay for a mountains getaway

Good location - away from touristy Leura and Katoomba, but close enough to easily pop in to visit these towns. Good little set of shops in Blackheath with a fabulous big antiques shop, a pub, and a good pizza place. Just down the road the other way is a lovely easy walk (Fairfax Heritage Walk) with great views of the Grose Valley. The house is cute, even though it was just me and my mum would be great for a family as is 3 bedroom with bunks in one of the bedrooms. The beds are comfy, good linen and pillows. Very clean. Heaps of board games and DVDs. Well stocked kitchen with starter pack of milk. The underfloor central heating is awesome, comes on really quickly and is really warm. We also used the fireplace one night with the starter pack. Lounge space is lovely as is the deck. It is a good sized house.

I would have like instructions for the TV (which we eventually worked out and the hosts responded really quickly to our queries). Just personal preference, but also found the pebble path to the front door a bit difficult for my elderly mother to walk on and would have preferred undercover car parking.

Very pleasant, house cosy and warm for winter.

Better car access to property...bushes on either side of small opening for car access scratched car. As two of us had mobility problems we needed to park car close to front verander.

Very comfortable. Felt at home as it was very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed.

Only suggestion would be a more comfortable outdoor dining set.
