We loved staying here! This was our 8th OIB home and it was our best. Great floor plan for all the generations. Elevator was a life saver for my 91 year old mom. Separate family room on middle floor was perfect for the kids. Kitchen and eating area was very spacious. Pans could be replaced (some had Teflon flaking off) House was very clean! Pool level was great to keep out of the sun and the beach was steps away. Would highly recommend staying here.

PERFECT HOUSE FOR LARGE GROUP
Our stay at this house was unbelievable. SO much space! The huge kitchen was a dream with 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers, 2 stoves, 2 sinks, ice maker, & a big island in the middle. We had plenty of seating for our group of 16 for eating & relaxing. The decks & beach access were great as well. The covered heated pool was amazing especially in inclement weather & in the evening. Shay Godwin was so helpful in the booking process & attended to all of our needs. She was great to work with. We will definitely be back!

First, let's start with the breathtaking views from the house - one word - AMAZING!
Secondly, the house was immaculate - clean and well stocked.
HUGE kitchen with more appliances than you know what to do with. Very comfortable beds - lots and lots and lots of space throughout -
Third, the host was extremely attentive and friendly.
The only bad part is that we had to leave :-(

Such a great house!
This house had all we needed. We had a range of ages with 3 generations. The two large refrigerators made it much easier to see all the food etc with nothing being buried. The main living area was very large and well laid out. Roof top deck was fun. Had a dance party with the kids. Being right on the beach is very convenient. We hope to go back again!

Family beach week 7/2019
We had a great stay. We were 10 adults and 10 children (8 years old and younger). Shay the house manager was very responsive. It could have been a tiny bit cleaner (for example, it was dirty/dusty under some of the beds and some of the comforters were stained) but overall it was clean enough. The location was great which also meant that the beach was a bit crowded, but again not too crowded. We liked the covered pool for the infants. We would have preferred linens and beach chairs to have been part of the weekly fee for convenience, but Shay made sure that they were available to rent as needed. We loved the open space for meals and having double refrigerators and dishwashers. Overall, we would rent the same property again.

A great place for a large family reunion. The kitchen, dining room, living room combination was very spacious and accommodating. We loved the side by side double refrigerators and three different sinks. The elevator was wonderful for older folks and carrying groceries and luggage up and down.

A Dream Home for a Special Occasion
We rented this spacious and comfortable home to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary along with 2 dozen members of our family. From the youngest at 2 to Grandpa in his early 70s, everyone loved their stay here. Some of the features that were most appreciated: 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms; two decks, one always shaded and the other for the sun lovers(along with a deck that covers the roof!); new, comfy outdoor furniture; a gas grill; a gorgeous kitchen with 3 sinks, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerator/freezers, and lots of small appliances and counter space; plenty of seating for meals; a living space on each floor; a covered pool; space for several cars; and best of all, a warm, beautiful beach just a few steps away! It was easy to contact Shay, who was responsive before our trip to questions and helpful during our stay. We all think of 5 Coggeshall as "our" home, because we made precious memories here.

Recently stayed at ocean isles beach house for a family reunion! Great house and great location! The House was beautiful. There were some things that didn’t work well such as the refrigerator and the wine cooler. But overall everything was perfect! The place was spacious and views were amazing!

Friends' family beach trip
Great trip. Plenty of room for a large crowd of people ranging in age from 3 months to 50 years. Everything worked -- especially liked kitchen with two fridges and ice maker. No beach at high tide (assuming due to hurricanes) but can't help that. Only issue would be that outdoor furniture needs to be replaced in near future.

this is a great property for a large family gathering. Kitchen has two stoves. Two refrigerators. Two dishwashers. Ice maker. Three coffee makers. Microwave, blender toaster. electric griddle. The great room layout is perfect for large gatherings. The pool is perfect to get the little kids out of the sun for a while and keeps them busy if you have a rainy day. All of the systems work perfectly. At other properties the HVAC labors mightily to keep the place cool. This house has very good HVAC. this is a top quality property. The top deck is a good idea but gets little use at least from our family. In fact, we brought furniture down from that deck to have adequate seating on the deck right off the main living room. If you rent this property you will get more than your money's worth. The manager, Shay, is a real sweetheart and very good to work with.

Great home for multiple families. Can't beat the location. Gated with a few other homes.
I think this was a newer home. Floorplan/Layout is almost perfect for multiple families. Kitchen and living areas are amazing. Double ovens, 3 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 3 eating tables and 2 bar areas.
Tons of counter space and large pantry. Awesome views from living area and decks. Shaded pool for the sunburns and rain proofed. One or 2 more master sweet in place of the double Queen rooms would make this absolutely perfect. Since homes this large are usually split between 3 or 4 fm families. But.....my parents sleep in separate beds anyway. AND we had pregnant couple with a small child so the double worked well there too. We just happened to have more kids than couples so a second room with double bunks may have been more suitable than the 3rd double queen. That's not a negative comment. We just had 8 adults and 13 grandkids there.
Shay even stopped by to check on us. Now that's customer service! Would definitely recommend this home. We'll be calling Shay for our next Ocean Isle Vacation. Thanks Shay.
