Conveniently located south of Uvita, in a private gated community just 9 minutes drive from gorgeous beaches and the Costanera/beach highway. Close to dozens of excellent restaurants, eco adventure tours, and the town of Uvita with shops, grocery stores, bank and personal services. Enjoy your most amazing vacation ever at Casa Gandhi which includes a;
* Main House (sleeps 4) - 2 air conditioned bedrooms, 2.5 bath
* Ocean Guest House (sleeps 4) - 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, with living room sleeper sofa, fully air conditioned
* Jungle Guest House (sleeps 2) - 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, fully air conditioned
The guest houses are never rented separately to ensure your complete privacy. The base nightly rate includes 4 persons in the main house. If there are more than 4 persons, you have your choice of which guest house to reserve! Please be sure to enter the correct number of guests, as we have a discounted base rate for smaller groups, and an additional per person charge for larger groups.

Start your day by gazing out over the Pacific Ocean, sip your morning coffee and witness the sun rise while listening to the calls of Scarlet Macaws and Howler Monkeys. Many varieties of floral, fruit and nut trees attract the plentiful local wildlife, you'll often see agouti, coati, sloths and White Face monkeys. Pack a picnic and walk the private trail to an idyllic waterfall and take a refreshing plunge in it's pool. Enjoy the afternoon at our unspoiled gorgeous beaches that dot the coastline where you can surf, take a long walks and explore local caves. Our concierge will assist you booking your perfect adventure or relaxation tour, there are dozens to choose from! Return home and let your cares melt away with a relaxing poolside couples massage. Sleek concrete floors throughout take you into the stylish kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a gas cook top. The fully equipped kitchen seamlessly flows into a private dining room, the perfect place to entertain while watching the sunset, have your private chef serve a delicious meal, or cookout on the propane BBQ grill. Watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean and jungle vista while you float in the exquisite pool. After an adventure filled day, unwind and enjoy a movie on the comfortable couch and use the TV via HDMI and fiber optic 25Mbps wi-fi. Get a great nights sleep in comfy beds and air conditioned main house bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Both separate guest houses are fully air conditioned.
Our on-site caretakers have a casita down the hill near the gate and ensure your complete privacy and security. Elberth meticulously maintains the landscaping, waters during the dry season and skims the pool. Mailyn can provide light housekeeping upon request, for a small fee, with advance notice prior to your arrival. They have a small friendly happy dog named Luna. Please advise if you wish Luna to be kept away from the main house and guest house during your stay.

This home was amazing and everything we needed for our stay in Uvita! Tom and Christine helped us coordinate all our excursions and made planning this trip as seamless and easy as possible. This was a 10 out of 10 experience and I would recommend this stay to all of our friends and family!!

Casa Ghandi was the perfect layout for our group of 8 adults/4 couples. The Ocean and Jungle casitas gave us space to spread out with the main house and pool our central gathering point with its amazing view of the Pacific. The chef (Juan Pueblo) and excursion recommendations (booked through Pacific Expeditions) made our week-long stay a wonderful adventure. With temperatures about 10 degrees above normal for much of the week, the air conditioning was very welcome for many members of our group. And last, Christine and Tom are exceptional property managers - without exception, quick and thorough response in the months leading up to and during our trip. Mucho gracias!

We loved the home. Caretaker and housekeeper were great and extremely responsive. There are not miles of hiking trails on the property however, if there were,they were overgrown and impassable. That was disappointing.

There were 5 adults in our party, and every single one of us loved this beautiful home and its setting. The home is beautifully appointed with everything we needed for our stay. It is very clean and easy to maintain. Christine and Tom went above and beyond, responding promptly and with good communication the few times we connected with them. We highly recommend staying here because it is a stunning home, situated perfectly in the Costa Rican forest. We regularly saw toucans, macaws, and many other local wildlife. It is a quick drive to groceries, restaurants, and activities. We stayed for a full week and we were not ready to leave this corner of paradise.

Amazing! Beautiful! Relax and play - something for everyone. The drive up is beautiful (you do need 4x4). The house and surroundings perfect. We heard and saw monkeys and so many birds and butterflies! Tom and Christine were so accomadating and helpful. Enjoyed an amazing day snorkeling with Pacific Expeditions. The house has everything you need. The pool and porch were enjoyed morning, noon, and night. Unplug the TV when you get there and enjoy Pura VIda! Hope to return.

My husband, adult son and I had the most peaceful, calming, and beautiful vacation we have ever had at Casa Gandhi! It was even more beautiful than the pictures. The brilliant sunrises and sunsets were the most dramatic I have ever seen. The humming sounds of the jungle were so calming. The house had everything you need. Inside and out, the views were incredible! Elberth, the caretaker was delightful. He was a wealth of information and checked to make sure everything was perfect. Christine and Tom, from Jaguar management, arranged a perfect vacation for us from booking, expeditions, car rentals, resources and recommendations. They met us after dark to guide us up to the house and explain all its features. They were the perfect hosts! We will be returning to Casa Gandhi! Thank you for the beautiful experience! This is my second stay with Jaguar properties. Casa Ghandi was spectacular with the most jaw dropping views while being tucked in the jungle. From poolside we saw toucans, scarlet macaws a variety of parrots and howler monkeys. Tom and Christine are legends and make the check in and out process, painless. We also had the poolside masseuse and private chef, all arranged through Jaguar. The house managers kept it clean and inviting and always respected our privacy. We opted for the house dog to visit, and Luna was a blessing to have stop by each day. Get a good four wheel drive, whatsapp and be ready for an unforgettable holiday we can't wait to return to paradise.

Stunning "Outdoor" Property

We stayed 3 nights in this magical oasis of a house. The view of the ocean and the privacy the house affords could not be any better. The sliding glass walls were the best for opening up the kitchen and family room to the outdoors and pool. The birds and night life were amazing to look at and hear. The hiking behind the house was amazing for wildlife as we saw scorpions, poisonous dart frogs and some amazing birds. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for an escape that provided a total outdoor experience.

What an incredible setting and just an amazing house! Christine is the best...she made our stay perfect. She's on top of it all. The view of the ocean from the house is second to none. The sound of nature, an afternoon storm..it's all just magical. The house makes you feel one with nature. The showers are open to the jungle as well...so cool. The caretakers (and Costa Rican's) are also the sweetest people around. We can't say enough about how incredible the property is.

Christina made our stay easy and pleasant. She was in contact with me days before my arrival and after I left to make sure we arrived to the airport safely and on time. The drivers and chef provided were extremely professional and were always on time for any services. The view of the ocean from the house is impeccable. The sound of nature that surrounds the property is music to your ears. The house felt like I was directly in the middle of nature. The house is surrounded by vegetation and the restrooms were outside. We enjoyed being at the property so much that we spent most of our time by the pool. The caretakers were also so helpful. The Costa Rican people are so nice and and sweet. Thanks Christina for making my birthday memorable!
