Everything, Having travelled all round the south Island it was the best place we stayed. If I ever come back I would definitely stay again and will be recommending it to friends and family. Beautiful place. I loved the special tea and coffee selection nice touch.
Nothing, the place had everything you would need

I loved everything

The view, the style, the little touches.
Exhaust fan in bathroom, the external flap bumps up in down, making a bink bonk noise. Saying that, ‘twas a stormy night.

the views, great location, breakfast provided, clean
it is not big enough for 2 kids and 2 adults, this accomodation is really just suitable for a couple.
not sure why our booking went through when it’s says no children?

Place was cute, clean and had super comfortable beds. it had a Lovely view of harbour. a patio complete with gas bbq and the furnishings were very nice. The Mini kitchen and appliances were very well organized.
The property was advertised as being walking distance from the CBD, but ending up being almost a 2km walk from the octagon, mostly up a VERY steep hill. We booked expecting to park at the property, go downtown for dinner and drinks, and walk home but knew we couldn’t face the walk back after dropping our stuff there.

The tiny house is a place with a wonderful view and a really cozy place. It was super tidy and the bed very comfy.

Nothing to fault. Wonderful hosts

Loved how clean the place was, and reasonably private for how close it is to town. Had everything we needed and was a good use of a small space.

Fantastic concept
May be not possible but being tall I found the bed a fraction small

The quiet location, off-street parking and the obvious love that had gone into creating this space. It was very clean, warm and comfortable.
Nothing.

Great location only 5-10 mins walk up the hill to Roslyn Village, very cute little house complete with bathtub and nice view of the harbour, has all the basics you need (except perhaps a bottle opener, unless I missed it 😉). I really enjoyed exploring the hills on foot in the evenings, and assuming a moderate level of fitness you can walk to and from town (coming back is uphill though). If you don’t want to walk there’s a bus stop just through the alleyway next to the property, on Stuart Street. Literally a hop skip and jump. The bus accepts cash but it’s cheaper if you have the local Bee Card.
Owners were lovely! Around if you need them but mostly just leave you to it.
Nothing, it was pretty much perfect for us for a week. One tip for very cold weather is to make sure the heat pump is on its most powerful setting - the loft warms up nicely but downstairs takes a bit longer 🙂
4.5
The place is so cozy and the view is great! The room is clean, smells amazing, and is easy to heat up. The owners are thoughtful to provide us with breakfast & everything else we need for an overnight stay.
