very comfortable

Large room, space, A/C, fridge, kettle, terrace, nice view, Queen size bed. The building was tranquil, with thick walls and no noise from neighbours. I did a workout and practised the ukulele in peace. You have to take a Gojek to go to the city center, but the bikes costs only around AS$1, and in return, You can fully experience the attractive and economical local life. The owner's family are such warm and friendly people. Today I moved to noisy Ubud; I already miss Cakra house and little Ganesha in the temple upstairs. As an aside, on arrival at the airport, wifi was not available outside the lobby, so a Gojek car was arranged for us by a helpful security guard. Up to this house, it cost me Rp 100 000, including airport parking fees.

Lovely place!. Staff were amazing and very helpful! Dogs very cute! Huge rooms Kitchen included with fridge sink plates kettle TV was good Bed was massive !

I'd come back. Good value

Great family, welcoming, adapting and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable, location is convenient, and is quiet. Lugagge storage service highly appreciated, so could travel lighter for one week off of Bali

Bathroom old and small, dirty, weird smell, and very low pressure. Stains everywhere. No window, no air extractor, no air circulation. Kitchenette area, old, stained, kettle very rusty inside, unable to use, but after mention this, owners gave me a replacement the next day. Both would be nice to update a bit and get better maintenance, and the whole place would be great. Just blanket, no cover sheets

Fantastic hosts and comfortable accommodation

The owner and their staff were wonderful. They are extremely helpful and generous. They also made sure we have everything needed (just according to what we pay--they're not your servants, okay). We had a miscommunications regarding the length of my stay but we sorted it out. We kind of bothered the owner by asking to borrow their pans, some plates, and eating utensils, and they were very generous in sharing them with us. We made sure to return them as soon as possible, and we are very grateful.

The AC in our room didn't work properly and it was leaking water--something I wish they had told us when we checked in, since we put our opened suitcase right under the AC, and we got some of our stuff wet. We talked with them about the AC and they got someone to came as soon as possible although it was unfortunately only a few days after we checked in, but this was not within their control as the repairman didn't arrive sooner. Afterwards, the AC was working perfectly and we didn't have any complain. The electric kettle they have was unfortunately a bit rusty, so we refrained from boiling water to make our morning coffee. It wasn't a big issue for me as we could always go elsewhere to grab coffee, but I'd advise anyone to bring their portable coffee maker if they have any (if you're a coffee drinker of course).

It was okay

Good value for the price.

The room was very small and the bed takes up most of the space. The WiFi in our room was not working half of the time. It was on the edge of the signal. The owner has caged animals and birds which makes it hard to sleep long for light sleepers.

Exceptional

Staying here felt like being at someone's home. Very nicely decorated, with friendly owner. In a back alley away from the main street so quiet at night, with good view from outside our door. Being this far north of Kuta, you are definitely away from the big tourist spots, so has a much more local feel. No big restaurants nearby but plenty of street food. A few different ATMs are not far away by walking. To get to anything else, as with many places in Denpasar, you need a scooter or just use Grab.

Very good value for money, close to airport

Bed was very comfortable and tokm was a good size, staff were very helpful, especially as it was Bali's Nyepi Day and they provided us with good food! Place was close to airport which was what we needed, and very good value for money!

Shower was not very good and the Aircon wasn't the best

Superb

Overall it was a great place for the money. Staff was very friendly. Room was nice and comfortable. I stayed for a month and made a couple good new friends who also stayed there.

Only issue I had was WiFi was hit and miss and the shower water pressure was low. Shower had some had water stains but understandable.

Great value for a clean, private room in a traditional Balinese home

The property is a beautiful family home with guest rooms upstairs that overlook nearby rice paddies. The room was clean, the AC and wifi worked well and the family was very nice. The bed was comfortable, there was a private bathroom in the room, and there is a nice sitting area right outside. The surrounding area has plenty of places to eat, local markets and everything else you need. It has more of a local vibe which I liked. They also have 3 very cute puppies on the property!

There was a little boy who is a little aggressive with the puppies- hitting them and chasing them around.

Affordable cozy place in strategic area

We stayed at Cakra House for a week, we were surprised by the tiny road access but our driver managed to back down with no problem. The room is cozy for affordable price, you’ll get a comfy big bed, AC, mini fridge, hot water shower, etc (as per ad). On top of that the host family is very kind & helpful.

The shower isn’t so strong, just need to be patient. And can’t share wifi at the same time because it’ll be super slow. The rooms are on the 2nd floor which will give you a beautiful sunset sky but also means you need to be strategic in packing your bags.

Overall it was a pleasant stay! we love the cute and active little puppy the owner has!

Its very spacious! and very friendly staff. The bed is big and comfy, must be a good quality one!

The shower didn’t really work well. It has very little waterpower and the showerhead is a bit broken so a lot of water came out through the sides.

Comfort sanctuary in the heart of Denpasar

Strategic location and easy to find, price to value was unbeatable, to me its like studio apartment, the bathroom clean, complete facility, and all works well, i like the comfy bed and soft blanket, the family who run the bussines also warmhearted and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere and calm wind make relax sit on tereace balcony upstair. i definitely recomend this accomodation and would like to come back again when back to Denpasar. If you're staying in Denpasar definitely stay here! This place is super nice and for an unbelievable price! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the facilities are great! This place honestly instantly felt like a second home.
