About this house rental
Take a look at this incredible, family and dog friendly, waterfront home, located on Lakeshore Drive just a 4-minute drive (15-minute bike ride) to downtown Sandpoint! Featuring 4 private bedrooms plus an office that is used as a 5th bedroom, this home will accommodate larger groups of up to 11 people. And, at around 4,500sqft, you'll have plenty of room to spread out after spending your time together in the large living and dining areas. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Lake Pend Oreille from both levels of the home - the upstairs and downstairs both have large covered decks. Inside the home, you'll stay cool and comfortable on those hot summer days, thanks to the central air conditioning system. On the main level, you'll find the kitchen, dining and living areas, as well as 3 bedrooms - one master suite with a King bed, second bedroom with a Queen bed, and 3rd bedroom (office) with a pull-out sofa bed. Downstairs consists of the 4th and 5th bedrooms - 4th bedroom with a King bed and a Twin bed, and the 5th bedroom has a Queen bed. Also downstairs is a family room with TV, and a full-size pool table!
*Note - guests have full use of the dock and waterfront, but the boat lift shown in the photos is not available to use. And, each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.

Overall enjoyed the property - plenty of room for our group, both inside and outside. Kitchen is very well stocked! A few minor details - we picked this property based on saying it was a fenced yard (for our dogs). Part of the yard is fenced, but it's not completely fenced and the house is very close to a busy road. Worked out for us, but worth noting. Also, would suggest upgrading some of the outdoor seating - we were glad we brought on own chairs. Overall, great view and really enjoyed our time swimming and relaxing.

This is a beautiful, large house in a great location right on Lake Pend Orielle - our entire family had fun. The dock, deck, and water is where we spent most of our time - very hard to beat for a summer vacation. My family of 11 is already considering booking it for next summer - all of my grandkids want to come back!

This is a great house and location. The home is more personal than some of the other lake houses we have stayed at which tend to feel like they were decorated with stuff from the same store using the … “lake house vibe” decoration kit. Everything was in great shape and well cared for. This is a lovely place.

This house has everything you could ask for then it has sunshine all day on the dock and is a quick drive into Sandpoint. Anyone who stays here will be very happy they chose this house.

We had a fine stay. As another mentioned, some furniture pieces (chairs) really need to be replaced. Two of us almost fell over when sitting in a very old upholstered chair (it bottoms out and rocks back).

Fun Place on the Lake
Great property, tons of room, fun dock. Kitchen is a little understocked as far as pots/pans and utensils but not a huge deal. Overall worked well for us for a few days. Thank you!

A wonderful lakefront home
This is the second summer our family of eight has stayed in this spacious, yet cozy home. House has of room for all, with large decks for relaxing in the evenings. Wonderful primary bedroom on main floor. Lower floor living area, bedrooms and laundry room were great for our large group. Well equipped kitchen. Fabulous yard, water level deck, and dock. Our family has really enjoyed this home!

Everyone enjoyed the stay very much.
Everyone enjoyed the stay very much. Great location. Could use some updating. Outdoor furniture could be more comfortable. Enjoyed dinners on the deck. Pool table was a lot of fun but could be leveled and a couple new pool cues. Generally well maintained.

Our group of 3 generations including 5 teenagers thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our group of 3 generations including 5 teenagers thoroughly enjoyed it. The beauty of the area and the peacefulness added to the pleasure. The availability of many water sports including jet skis, water skiing, wake boarding, kayaks kept us going all day, right up till sunset. Loved the top deck overlooking the lake, the sunsets. The big game room was great for the kids, giving them a place to hang out together. The house, bathrooms, kitchen, appliances were all very clean, Exceeded my expectations. We would recommend the management company with no qualms. We plan to come back to L’ale Pend Oreille, perhaps even to 301 Lakeshore Drive which fit our needs perfectly and was nicely located.
