Casita is extremely clean with upscale amenities in a quiet community. Very easy to get around to golf courses and dining. Would stay here again.

Well managed property. Very well appointed - host provided everything we could have wanted. The provided garage was appreciated (a bit of a tight fit but workable). We found the house claustrophobic. The only Mountain View available was through 8 foot high windows and we could see the peaks only. Otherwise the view was of the stucco of the main house or an 8 foot high wall. Sitting outside on the fenced in patio/side yard provided almost no sun, except for minimal times of day, and NO views. I hate being negative about this as I don’t see any solution - but it made me feel imprisoned. The neighborhood was mostly quiet with the exception of barking dogs. To my horror, the worst offenders were the hosts 3 dogs. It wasn’t constant or long lasting but sometimes it was early morning, or later in the day when we had our windows open. We love dogs, but barking dogs are not enjoyable to be around.
Very nice hosts, very nicely kept - but not scenic or conducive to outdoor living.

We had an amazing stay at the casita. It was welcoming, clean, and our hosts were so accomodating. They had things stocked for us, and the back yard was perfect for our dog. Odin loved running around and enjoying the sunshine and was definitely not ready to return to c9ld Michigan.
We hope to stay again! I can see why they are always booked- they have everything you need, are extremely nice, and the place is a gem. Centrally located to so many hikes, biking trails, and restaurants. Safe neighborhood and the casita feels like "home away from home"

I really appreciated the flexible scheduling! Much of Oro Valley is a 30 day minimum but BJ is more flexible. The guest house was well stocked with coffee, creamer and seasonings. Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

This location worked well for us. The unit was very well supplied. One suggestion...every reachable cupboard was loaded with all the dishes/glasses/cooking supplies anyone would need. That was great, accept there was no room to store food. Maybe designate a couple cupboards as pantry.

Second time staying and very satisfied. BJ and Brian are attentive to all needs without being over-bearing. Great stay.

Beautiful decor with everything provided. Very modern appliances. Close to dog park and walking trails. Bj and Brian were most helpful and gracious.
We're coming back next year as we loved our stay.

This place has everything you could ever want when traveling away from home. The decor was beautiful and comfortable. If your into cooking, the kitchen will put a gleam in your eye and well furnished, all kinds of cooking utensils etc and they all appear new and unused. All in all you will not find a better place when vacationing.

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the property, the well eqipped kitchen and the proximity to family. All was excellent!!

The Casita is all that is advertised. Couldn't be happier with it - very nice inside (didn't use outside as we were away all of the days mountain biking). BJ and Brian are wonderful and I actually bought a house with BJ as my Realtor. Can't be any better review that this.

This property was perfect for our two-week stay in Oro Valley. It's well located in a very nice neighborhood, convenient to Tucson and the surroundings. The casita is clean, open, and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated, and is full of amenities. The kitchen is well equipped, nice extras. There are many little touches throughout that made it feel like home. Having the garage was a real plus for us. BJ and Brian are great hosts, very responsive and helpful when we had questions. This casita has our highest recommendations, and we would certainly want to stay there again.

Property was perfect! ***** it exceeded our expectations. Brian was friendly and helpful ( unfortunately we never got to meet BJ). This Casita will be on top of our list for any return visits to Tucson.

I had been in AZ for 2 months. I had to find new lodging. I went through the VRBO listing and came across this wonderful location!
The neighborhood was quite and neat and clean.
The apartment was so clean and decorated tastefully. The appliances, plates, drinking glasses etc. in excellent condition. The backyard area is very nice and quite. My allergies bothered me during the summer months. When I did have some relief and sat in the back it was so relaxing. BJ and Brian provided all in the apartment. They were wonderful hosts. BJ responded in a timely fashion and took care of any requests I asked for. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay there. I would strongly suggest that you consider this location.

Very nice. Did not like the parking/ garage situation. Very hard to get into garage. Not allowed to park on street. Not allowed to have 2 cars.

Modern clean and well stocked. Have rented casitas like this but this one has a private garage which is nice given the Arizona heat.

Excellent Property and well worth the $$
Very comfortable and clean property and was like home. Had a walking trail right outside the neighborhood. Nice 1.5 mile walk out and back to start the morning. Area to sit outside with our pet was a plus. Wish all properties were this nice. Lot of value for the price. Was a ways north of Tucson but still easy to get places of interest. Would recommend to others!!

Wonderful Casita- Above and beyond expectations!
This was the first time we rented a house - in a city we’d never been to, and for a month. It was with some trepidation we arrived at the Casita. It was like walking into a posh hotel suite. We felt immediately at home. It was super clean and no detail was overlooked by the hosts. The bed and living room furniture were extremely comfortable and the decor was very inviting. BJ and Brian were always responsive immediately to any questions we had. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to all necessities. We were so happy with it, we’ve already booked again for next March. Thank you BJ and Brian for a lovely stay! Linda and Rob Benton, March 2022

Restful stay in wonderful setting
This property was absolutely immaculate. I was initially concerned about being connected to the main house, but it was not an issue whatsoever. BJ and Brian were incredible hosts and we didn't here a peep from next door unless we sent a text with a question and it was answered almost immediately. The neighborhood is super quiet, upscale and has great places to walk with beautiful mountains all around . Very convenient to state parks that had numerous options for great hikes. Close to shopping, restaurants. We brought our dog with us and he loved it too! Cleanest VRBO with everything you could possibly need. Felt much more like a home away from home than a VRBO. Will definitely stay here again!

Winter Getaway
The Casita was very nice and the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed, was close to stores, restaurants and recreation. We really enjoyed it. The owners responded very quickly with our questions.

Beautiful, immaculate and comfortable!
My husband and I spent two weeks in this one bedroom, one bathroom casita. From the moment we walked in, we felt at ease due to the spacious feel, the high quality of furnishings, and the vibrant yet restful colors of the southwest. Appliances were new. Refrigerator had bottled water and sparkling water to refresh thirsty travelers. A warm, in-person welcome by BJ and her offer to be of service was most appreciated. A beautiful neighborhood with walking trail nearby made this the perfect vacation get-away!

Great place
This is a great place. The cleanest I've been to in all the 60-70 VRBO stays I've had in the past twenty years. Exactly as advertised, and better. Super nice hosts, everything easy. You can't go wrong. dave

Wonderful guest house
This is a guest house that is attached to the main house. It has a separate entrance, separate garage and separate patio. It was very nice and clean, was nicely furnished and has everything that anyone would ever need. The bed is better than the bed we have at home. The neighborhood is very nice as well.

My wife, our two dogs and I decided to head West for a few weeks visiting our daughter. We needed a home base as we were pretty much going to be hanging out and laying low due to COVID. We drove in from Philly and stayed for 11 days over Christmas and New Year. We were originally apprehensive about a casita as my wife and I are pretty antisocial, as are our dogs and we just like to be left alone. Being that this is a casita connected to the main residence, we didn't want a lot of interaction with others. Those concerns were completely unwarranted as we didn't even know the owners were around. Our brief interactions were very pleasant and BJ and Brian are great people. They are from the Philly area so this should be a given.Other than walking the dog at the nearby trails and wash and some day hiking, we stayed in. The casita is extremely comfortable and has everything you need. I cooked breakfast and dinner almost daily and they had everything I needed. We had multiple Amazon and Doordash orders delivered easily. Outdoor area was excellent for our dogs. We used the gas grill with no problem. Nice sunrises and mountain views and VERY QUIET at night. Neighbors were all great. The nearby trails are perfect for walking your dogs. We even ran into a couple of javelinas which was very cool. Also heard coyotes active in the wash but never caught up with them. So, casita is excellent room to room. Amenities are all there, everything you need. Owners are awesome people and are dog lovers so there is also that. If you are bringing your dogs this place has you covered. Great hiking within 15-20 minutes drive. I cannot express enough how great this place is. If you are coming into the Oro Valley area and need a place that feels like home, this is your spot. You will not regret it.

Moving west part 2!
Per my earlier review, I had to extend my stay several weeks when my property wasn't ready for occupancy. Additions to earlier review: forgot to say how close to the biking trails and wash this property is. . . spent most of my free time at Catalina State Park ($70 annual pass, used almost daily, paid for itself). I can't tell you how accommodating and helpful the owners are. . . . no matter how small the detail or odd the request (? where do you get your hair done?!). You can't go wrong. It's as simple as that

Moving west!
I will be at the Casita for 8.5 weeks' total mid-move to the Tucson area. Displaced when my east coast home sold and home here not yet vacant. And I'm with three Labradors! BJ and Brian could NOT have been more gracious or accommodating.
The Casita is beautifully appointed and maintained. There is a cooktop, oven, airfryer, microwave, blender, Kitchen aid mixer, and Weber grill plus any gadget you could need if you prefer to "cook in".
Location is ideal and proximal to shopping, restaurants, hiking, Catalina State Park and not far from Sabino Canyon.
I'm most grateful for your kindness and patience. Won't hesitate to recommend your Casita to friends and family. Many thanks, MC

Very Pleasant and Private
This well done casita, perfect for a couple, is attached to the owner's home in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely furnishings, a comfy bed, lots of quality dishes, higher end cooking equipment, a private attached garage, and a private patio with mountain views are the highlights. Instead of a traditional stove, a crockpot, countertop toaster/convection oven, a double electric hot plate, and a microwave are available for use. The dishwasher, refrigerator, and washer/dryer are all full sized. Lots of bedroom/closet storage. We would definitely stay here again!
