This is our second time here, we loved it on our first stay and to be honest the home wasn't in the same shape. The hot tub wasn't very clean, house had some smoke odor, and the massage chair had the cable cut off.

Comfortable beds, clean house and well-equipped kitchen.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The home was really wonderful and perfect for our family. Everything was clean and well kept, the instructions for check-in and amenities like WiFi were clear, and the house itself is a great layout for families. The property was also really convenient to the parks. If we visit the area in the future, we will surely see if we could stay in the home again!

The outdoor setting-mainly the river-is why you'll choose to stay here, along with proximity to Sequoia NP. The home itself did have lots of space for a couple families, but the river and its ambience is most likely why you'll choose to stay here. While the furnishings were not dated, the overall aspects of the interior were; however, the interior was clean. You would not be uncomfortable on your stay here. We enjoyed the hot tub at night listening to the roaring river. Hoped to see bear...no go. Small piece of advice to the homeowner-spending just a little bit of money on a new screen door for the front and screen slider for the porch would be nice. Also, we never did hear from anyone regarding check in/check out. Just got the one email from VRBO. I texted the number to let someone know we had left (left early AM) and no one replied. Might have been nice to get a reply. Felt kind of weird spending all that money and not getting any sort of personal communication.
Be prepared, even though you are only about 20 minutes to the nearest NP entrance, you are almost 2h from the main sequoia groves.
Must try Reimer's ice cream and candy-we went to the location in Oakdale, CA, but found out the original location is right in Three Rivers.
Our stay was short, but felt blessed to find a great location on the river and close to NP.

The back deck is where we basically lived when we were here, it is a beautiful back drop!! Lemon and orange trees are beautiful!! There was no toaster and when I called the manager said to use the air fryer??? So I went and bought a toaster and left it at the house for other renters. We also had water pressure issues and she said that happens when you run the dish washer and washing machine and try to shower...the problem was we hadn't used the dishwasher or washing machine yet...so there are definite water pressure issues with the house. We felt like someone had been "in the house" while we were out at the park and we also felt like someone had been in our rental car while we slept--the seat had been adjusted...We did not notify the manager about those issues because she didn't seem to care about the others. I have to say I have used VRBO for trips to Treasure Island Florida, Orlando Florida, Branson Missouri, Lake of the Ozarks Missouri, New Orleans and this is the first time I have left a less than 5 star review. The house is in need of exterior and interior repairs and updating, but the back deck is worth the rental!!!

This place looks like there have been many upgrades since the photos were taken! It is spacious and very well stocked! We appreciated the amenities that helped us create lifelong memories from sitting on the glider watching the river, outdoor table and chairs that we painted canvas on, relaxed in the horn and all took our turn learning the keyboard. We’ll definitely be back, maybe a few weeks later in the year to give the river time to chill out, it was much too fast to get in this time.

This house was very comfortable for two couples or a family. The back deck with the river was so enjoyable. We had our coffee on the deck and watched all the birds flitting about. We also enjoyed the kitchen which was well equipped. The location is a great launching point for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. We loved the neighborhood market and restaurants as well. Overall a great stay.

Overall this place is adequate for what we were looking for. The location is great with close proximity to the entrance to the park which is why we were there. On the other hand, the condition of the property inside and out was not so great. Inside was cleanish as far as bathrooms, kitchen and bedding but was missing blinds and curtains that may have been just taken down? Blinds and draperies that were there were not in good condition. The cloth dining room chairs were stained and had chair cushions placed over top of the dirty. The outside area was a hodge podge of dirty, cobwebby chairs and dirty tables. The hot tub was clean and very much needed but could not relax out by the beautiful river it sits upon when not in it. The whole place needs a good sweep and clean. Kinda felt like we were in the middle of something not done while we were there.

The house is outstanding. Really clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything you could need to prepare meals. We've stayed at many homes and the kitchen was the best stocked. Orange and tangerine trees in the front yard made for good hiking snacks. Only problem was us old people trying to figure out the fancy thermostat for the a/c. After texting we finally got it and everything was fine. we were two couples and it fit us fine. Back deck is great for sitting around in the afternoon. We did not try try the hot tub as it was 90 in the afternoons. Very close to the park entrance. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean house
This house is perfect for a big family. It was well equipped with everything and so clean! Washer and dryer is a huge perk. The water was refreshing. We did not have to leave the property, everything was there.

Running River
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially pleased that in mid May the river running by the house was full and a delight to sit by. Communication with the owner via VRBO was prompt and the house was clean and cozy.

Great getaway house in Three Rivers
Well kept property and great for a family getaway. Great location for activities in town and the nearby outdoor parks and attractions.

Clean House
House was clean and comfortable. It’s fully stocked but needs some updating. Not a fan of carpet throughout entire bathrooms. Like the description says the creek is seasonal, it was completely dry during our summer stay. Also, we were unable to change our dates and even though four of our guests did not end up going, we couldn’t get our money back for the additional cleaning fee.

Great Stay
We really enjoyed the rental. The home was clean, comfy and in a great location.

Great property and conveniently located near Sequoia.
Spacious and very comfy. Great TV options and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife around the property. A couple of minor issues in master bathroom (light bulbs needed replacing and had to flip the switch in circuit breaker to get the bathroom electric outlet to work). But overall, would stay here again and thank you for letting us into your beautiful home.

Thia property was everything we all needed. The peace and calm of the neighborhood made it possible for total relaxation. Everyone in town waved!! Everything needed for cooking was included for all of our needs. Want to come back with the family sometime.

Lovely stay
Our family of 5 enjoyed a lovely stay. The location is amazing, right on the riverfront. We were able to sleep with the window open in the master bedroom and listen to the frogs and rolling stream at night.
Any question we had was quickly answered by Florinda via text. We’d love to return again!

Romantic riverview house
I would recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Three Rivers. It's centrally located, lots of room. But the best part is having coffee and breakfast next to the river. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Can't recommend enough.

Great home, great location
Lovely setting on the river bank. Very clean, comfortable home. The owner could forewarn about the river being dry in the summer. We would like to go back in the spring when the river is running. It would be such a wonderful site to see.

Great hiking basecamp
We (4 guys) used this house as our home base for exploring Kings Canyon & Sequoia NP's. Wish we could have enjoyed the hot tub next to the creek, but the temps were too high & the creek was dry.

Overall, great getaway spot
We had a good time! Our only complaint was that we weren’t told about the river drying up until about a day before check in. The river was one of the reasons why we chose this location. The house was beautiful, it was clean, and we only had to deal with the refrigerator making noises and not cooling. Property manager was good with communication, but it wasn’t that easy to get a hold of the person she was referring us to, Florinda. Overall, it was great. We enjoyed ourselves, and we felt safe.

Lovely house, great host
The whole family loved staying at the house, the only regret was that we only had 2 nights to enjoy it. The holiday decorations were a wonderful touch. It was great to sleep to the sounds of the creek and the views from the back were gorgeous.

Beautiful getaway
This house was just located in such a beautiful serene location. The river behind the house and the views were something to look forward to. Lindsie was very accommodating and even made it a point to check in with us on the first day. The house was perfect for our needs and everyone just loved the massage chair. The distance to the Sequioa National Park was only a few minutes away. Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing the beautiful house with us.
