We had stayed at this location once before and knew we liked the unit overall. Big Issue: During our entire stay painters were painting the outside of the building & back deck. The outdoor furniture cushions were inside the unit & outside furniture was piled up outside. This affected us daily (constantly stepping around painters/tarps/debris), no use of outside water for cleaning up after the beach, and limited use of our space (namely the deck - the best benefit of this condo). We were not upset strictly because this was happening, but that there was no concession as to this large inconvenience whatsoever. If it was my unit, I would have pre-warned the renters (the owner certainly knew it) and would have offered some type of a discount. This was not a minor inconvenience. Instead I simply got a "We're sorry" from the rental agency telling us that the owner did not let them know about the painting and that our contract says that things like this could happen. 2nd: No blinds/curtains on either of the unit's sliding doors. The sun in the morning just streams in with no way to block it. One morning I had to wake my daughter early so that there wouldn't be grown men right outside her bedroom working on her deck while she was sleeping. My takeaway is that you are taking a chance renting here knowing if there are outside issues it's your problem. However, painting a building is rare. The lack of blinds would be my biggest hindrance to renting again.

Place smaller than expected, but adequate as we were really on there to eat and sleep. Kitchen was tiny.....two people in there at once and you are falling over each other. Also, not very well stocked. Meal prep was challenging. Bathrooms and kitchen needed cleaned better...they weren't filthy, but they also were not spotless. Sheets were soiled as was comforter on bed. Need keys that actually fit the locks. No key for deadbolt. Also, need a dishwasher that doesnt fall apart. Primary reason for 4 star rating was because this was ocean front....which was a plus, otherwise I would give it 3 stars. Besides the issues noted...location was good with ready access to grocery stores, the beach, and some local attractions. Parking was interesting...it's a bit tight in a SUV. Also I would love it if someone would enforce the fireworks laws at the beach...the 1:30 am wake-up we got was a bit un-nerving. Because you are right at a public access point....anyone can come near the property. One last gripe...the spiral staircase which an interesting focal point is a bit tricky to navigate.
