About this house rental
Relax in a luxurious 3-story Malibu getaway with spectacular ocean & mountain views. Our newly-built mid-century modern 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is nestled in the peaceful Santa Monica mountains just minutes from Southern California's most famous beaches. Enjoy a stylish space and wall to wall open views to the ocean. Every bedroom has ocean views. This truly unique home was custom built and furnished with the greatest attention to detail.

Full, private access to entire home and property. Please note there is a guest house above garage that is also rented out separately (can be rented with this property in a different listing). Guest house has it's own separate entrance and separate area on the property.
Guests have full and private use of all indoor and outdoor space shown. However there is a separate guest house over the garage which is rented out separately. There is a combined listing available to rent both together if desired.
SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. Please do not book this property if you smoke.
Guests must sign an electronic or hard copy of waiver prior to beginning reservation and acknowledge the following: ABSOLUTELY NO CLIMBING OR SITTING ON EXTERIOR OR ROOF OF HOUSE!
Due to our location in the mountains, cell phone service can be spotty around our property. Please keep this in mind and print out driving directions and check-in information for your reference prior to your arrival. 5g wifi is available here once you check-in.
Upon check-in we will buzz you in the private road and you will receive a gate clicker that will allow you to access the private road that is a quick and easy way to get to/from Pacific Coast Highway. We have 1 gate openers that you can borrow, but their use is subject to the gate road association's regulations which may change in the future (which would require simply entering a code to get buzzed in and out of the gate each time).
Please note no trucks, vans (including minivans), Sprinter/high top vans, camper vans, or oversize SUVs can use the private, gated road. You will need to take the longer, back route which is rather windy and takes about 10-15 minutes versus using the private gate. Only standard cars and small or mid-size SUVs can use the private gated road.
Guests have access to 5g WiFi throughout the guest house and outdoor areas.
No additional guests on the property at any time that are not on the reservation.
This house is surrounded by some amazing nature, and so you can expect to see some bugs and wildlife at times. In the summer they are especially active--we are always clearing off spider webs and cleaning inside and outside but please understand you probably will run into some bugs & critters during your stay.

Q: Is the beach walkable?
A: Unfortunately not, in order to get this incredible, panoramic ocean view we are on a street that has a steep incline and walking to the beach isn't really an option (some guests who are active/hikers have but personally I would NOT consider it walkable). We're a 2-3 minute drive away from Duke's Malibu, and from there many beaches can be reached within minutes.
Q: Can I host my event here?
A: We may on a limited basis allow a hard limit of 15 people on the property. Extra fees will apply and typically start at $5K. We will needs specifics about your request to know if it's possible and give an accurate quote. If the request involves more than 15 people we cannot host it.
Q: Can I film/take pictures here?
A: We do not book shoots through VRBO. You need to go through on of our location agencies--We are represented by Malibu Locations, Image Locations, and Cast Locations.
Q: Do you really mean it when you say no parties/gatherings/extra visitors who aren't spending the night??
A: YES! We will cancel your reservation without a refund if you try to bring extra people on to the property. We live in a quiet family neighborhood and have a zero tolerance for parties/gatherings/events/"it's not a party I just invited some extra friends over"/unauthorized photo shoots/commercial activity

Lovely home with great views
We had a lovely time at this home. It had everything we needed and the views were beautiful. Plenty of space for a group and a convenient location to great beaches and restaurants.

Fantastic house with amazing views
Loved the indoor to outdoor space. Made several good dinners in the well appointed kitchen, chopping veggies while enjoying the ocean view. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the outdoor couch, complete with the sounds of the ocean and birds. It was a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to spend three nights.

Myself and my family love this property so much we will be coming back many many times ....we love the house the cleanliness the vibe the convenience to things.
Sarah our property manager was amazing and showed us everything and left stone unturned. The house literally is a cooking persons delight!
The house is so gorgeous and well laid out for a family visit that we never wanted to leave we never wanted to go anywhere and we just hung out we will be back highly recommend this property

Great place. Great view. Shared space with smaller studio house, not private.
The place is wonderful, some small broken things and spiderwebs. The view is the best. But if you're looking for a private house, be aware that you share the driveway and view with a smaller guest house (you can see inside each other's bedrooms).

Quiet location, quiet neighbors, fast proximity to dining/beach
Well thought out property and home with fantastic views. We rarely left our location. The property manager was very informative and quick to respond. A very nice stay.
