Welcome to Ave Maria! This north end gem boasts a central Anna Maria location with an easy walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants and ice cream. Relax! soak up the sun and the quiet laid back style that is Anna Maria. Many activities accessible such as jet ski, boat rentals and fishing.
Our house is located a short walk to….everything! Enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches and sip a cocktail while watching the sunset! A place to call home. A place for the entire family. You may never leave!
Enjoy our screened in front porch with seating area and fans. There is also an entire screened in living and dining space under the house with TV, grill, and games. Relax and be entertained! Have a cookout!
For your sun and fun days at the beach there are beach chairs, floats, sun umbrella, beach wagon, and beach toys available for your beach time. When you return there is an outdoor shower and foot rinse.
To enhance your beach adventure take a bike ride - we provide several for you. Check out Beach Bums for other rentals like kayaks, paddle boards, or group bikes and golf carts. A block away is the community recerational center for fitness and tennis (day use and week memberships are available). The playhouse is down the street.

The house felt very homey, it was quaint and cozy, almost felt like a relative lived there and let me borrow it for a few days. Jeff communicated info about check-in and more a couple of days ahead of our arrival, and again the day of. Self check-in was a breeze since the door lock was digital and the code had already been provided. The house was comfortable, thoroughly clean, well equipped (full kitchen, linen closet with extra towels, bedsheets and blankets), with different spaces to gather (inside and out), comfortable beds, 2 full bathrooms, everything well stocked, even welcomed us with a tray of snacks and water bottles. My young child was always entertained with toys and games found in the living room tv unit. The house is on the older side but evidently kept well cleaned and maintained. Although we didn’t use any of it because we had brought what we needed, there was a storage unit full of beach chairs, toys, a cart, bikes, and probably more that was made available to use. Having the downstairs, outdoor shower was great to rinse off the sand when arriving from the beach. Location was also great, 2 blocks away from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and stores. I already recommended this place to a relative looking to go to AMI soon!

From booking to checking out everything was absolute perfection! Host was super friendly and responsive. The house was super clean and in the perfect location. It had everything you needed for a beach trip. I was sad to leave and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful location. Anywhere you want to be is walkable. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and other points of interest nearby. The beach is a very short walk, basically two blocks away. The photos on VRBO do not do the house justice. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! Perfect location to the beach, general store, etc. The screened in porch and patio areas were are wonderful. Having the wagon, beach chairs, umbrella and toys available for use in the shed was so helpful for our family.

We were looking for somewhere new to go but wanted to stay in Florida. My daughter was dying to go to the Gulf Coast and we stumbled upon Anna Maria Island through Instagram. This vacation rental was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't have had better hosts! It was very clean and there really isn't much you would need to bring with you. Jeff was very communicative and didn't hesitate to list his favorite spots when asked. The beach is literally 2 blocks away which was super convenient. This rental is also just one street over from the cutest little shops and restaurants. I would definitely rent a golf cart when you are here. We didn't use our truck at all as the golf cart took us everywhere. We will be back for sure!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Jeff's place in Anna Maria. Our two boys, 4 and 6, loved the toys, games, and legos, and it was so nice having beach gear to use. Beds were comfortable and the location was perfect...just a quick walk to the beach and the bay. The unit was clean and cozy. We would love to stay there again in the future.

We had a great time during our stay. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the Gulf and Bay. The house was very comfortable, with great beds and a comfy couch, perfect for mid-day naps. It was well stocked with all the items we needed. We made good use of the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and wagon, and we're very thankful that these items were available as they made our beach experience much more enjoyable.

House was very spacious for a family of four with teenage boys. We loved the screened in porch in the front and the downstairs screened in room for games and movie night. This place is located half way between the gulf on one side and the bay on the other. Both a short enough distance to walk or bike. Located near shopping and restaurants too but on a quiet street. Home had everything you need. Kitchen was well equip with staple items like oils, seasonings, sugar, etc. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys. Even had a couple fishing poles. Overall a really nice place with a great location. Was perfect for our family's stay!

This cozy house is located a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We barely needed to get back in the car once we arrived which made for a very relaxing vacation! We absolutely loved our stay and plan return again!

We really enjoyed our week here! The house is clean, the kitchen well stocked and Jeff was a great host! Thanks, Jeff, for the new grill since the old one was rusted out--we used it! We enjoyed the outdoor living room and the games! Lots of beach equipment in the shed! The bikes were a great way to get around the island (FYI, the breaks on the white bike are not great--but we made it work) The screened porch is great place for morning coffee and evening card games! We would definitely stay again! Thanks for the good experience!

The house has everything! Well appointed, great location and everything you need for a day at the beach. We came in on the tail of Idalia and Jeff could not have been any better with providing us with updates on the house and the island. This will definitely be our go to choice next time we travel to AMI!

This is our second time staying at “the yellow house” and we will certainly be back. All of the amenities you need for a day at the beach for the family. Very clean and well stocked and prompt communication from Jeff.

This was our second stay at Ave Maria and it was just as we remembered. This home is incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything you’ll need for the beach. The location is excellent and allows you to walk or bike to either the Gulf or Bay beaches, numerous restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay here again!

First off I cannot say enough about the prime location this house sits on! Literally one street over is golf cart rentals and all the shopping you’d ever want! Amazing restaurants are less then a 6 minute walk in either direction.
This house is a gem! We really enjoyed our stay! It was clean, the host was very prompt on all responses, great location, and a ton of amenities! We didn’t even get to use the down stairs area with games and covered patio because we were so busy but it is so cute and absolutely functional and perfect!
Lots of parking! Quiet and nicely kept neighborhood.
Can we talk about beach gear??? I was totally surprised! This house has everything you need from a beach wagon to chairs and beyond, the outdoor shower is a plus and the attention to detail where there are pavers connected to the shower area so you don’t step back on the dirt is perfect!
Lots of toiletries and towels available for us!
We hope one day to be returning one day to Ave Maria!

What a wonderful stay at this lovely home. I have stayed at many homes in the past and this is my favorite! Very clean, well stocked with anything you need and so close to everything. I can’t wait to go back again!

The house is in a great location, and has several things you may not find elsewhere. For example, there were four nice folding beach chairs, a new beach shade canopy, lots of beach toys and a nice cart so you can wheel all the stuff to the beach.
The beach itself is beautiful, with very soft white sand that doesn't get hot in the strong sun. We were there in June, and we spent the mornings at the beach - the temp was in the low 80's. The sun felt very hot in the afternoons although the temp never reached 90.
The house has good, quiet central air which kept us cool. We also liked the screened porch.
We enjoyed using the bicycles, but they are not in great shape. There are six bikes. Two are too broken to ride. The others have bad brakes and gears that don't work. There was only one functional helmet.
The interior of the house is outdated. There is a collection of mis-matched plates and utensils in the kitchen. Some pots and pans were well beyond being ready for the trash bin. The cups, glasses and flatware appeared dirty, which I discovered is because the dishwasher cleans very poorly. I hand-washed several items before using them. The other appliances functioned well.
All in all, we had an enjoyable time. The water in the Gulf was clean and was the perfect temperature for swimming. I do recommend this property to anyone who doesn't mind that it hasn't been remodeled in a long time.

The property had an open layout. Spacious bedrooms. Plenty of out door seating on screened patio and screened room under house. Lot of beach equipment such as wagon, tents, bikes for sight seeing on the island. It was within walking distance to the pier and beach. Definitely will be back.

We had an amazing week on Anna Marie Island. The yellow house fit our needs perfectly. Great location for walking to the gulf side or Pier side and one block from the main restaurants and shops. The kids loved walking over to Pine to get ice cream, donuts and coffee. The beds were comfortable which is rare and the screened in porch was where we hung out when we were actually back at the home. The shower to rinse off was a big plus as it's hard not to drag sand all over. Had everything we needed, only critique would be to provide more toilet paper and and paper towels which are really no big deal. Sure appreciated our stay!

Jeff was an awesome host and very helpful with getting us into the property a little earlier than check in. We loved the house and property and felt very comfortable. A very short walk or bike ride to the gulf side or the bay side and the island was beautiful! Thank you so much!!!

This home is in a perfect location on AMI. It is located at the north end (quiet end) of the Island and is within walking distance of the beach and many fine restaurants. We didn't need to use our car the during our entire stay. Jeff (the owner) was very easy to reach and was very responsive to any questions that we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great property, nice accommodations and comfy King bed. Just a few blocks to the gulf or the bay that you can walk with a beach cart or ride a bike courtesy of the owners! Beautiful location and nice to walk or ride to multiple close restaurants and shops. We will definitely return.

A well appointed property in a perfect location. The house lacked for nothing and on the couple of occasions when we needed to refer to Jeff, he always responded immediately.
The neighbourhood was quiet though very close to everything, including restaurants, beach and shuttle stop.
Bed was wonderfully comfortable.
Great to have a TV that actually worked with a choice of viewing platforms.
Great selection of beach toys in good working order.
We would definitely return to this property.

We were first timers on Anna Maria Island, and it did not disappoint. Jeff’s Place was in the perfect location, situated between the gulf coast and the intercoastal. Just a short walk/golf cart ride to the sunrise or sunset. Many restaurants on Pine (the street next to his). Lovely, clean home, with all the amenities we needed and more.

The property was clean and well equipped. The short walk to the beach took minutes. We walked to restaurants as well and only used the car to explore the other end of the island for some gift shopping. I'll happily return to this property.

Wonderful experience. If you’re flying to the area and can’t pack any of those large beach items, this is the perfect place. Plenty of toys, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and more. Very clean and the location was perfect for easy walks to the beach and the bay. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a great vacation! House is in a great location for a short walk to the bay and the gulf. Short walk to a variety of restaurants. Plenty of towels and kitchen items. Jeff is/was an excellent host. Very responsive to my e-mails and questions about the property prior to our stay. Check in and check out was very easy. Plenty of chairs and items for the beach. Wagon was a huge plus!
