About this house rental
This wonderful ski-in/ski-out townhome is in the exclusive Highlands neighborhood of Beaver Creek. Access the Highlands Skiway beginner run just steps from your back door and easily ski down to one of many chairlifts. In summer, enjoy easy access to hiking trails or a short walk to shops and restaurants at Beaver Creek Village.
Chalet Fortessa has a spacious multi-level floor plan with room for eight guests to enjoy both privacy and time together. The large great room has lots of natural light and comfy couches, making it the perfect place to cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace to catch up or watch a movie. Access the patio for BBQ grilling and outdoor dining in summer.
With outdoor enthusiasts in mind, both the front and back entrances access a long hallway with ample gear storage, closets, hooks, and boot heaters. From the back steps, easy access to the Highlands Skiway run will make you appreciate the convenient location of this home, the perfect way to ski home for lunch and head out again.
An updated kitchen with beautiful dark granite countertops, high-end appliances, and a breakfast bar with seating for three will delight the cooks in your group, ready to serve up meals at the adjacent dining area with seating for eight guests.
On the upper level are all three nicely furnished bedrooms. A primary king suite enjoys a TV, mountain views, an ensuite bath with heated floors, a luxurious steam shower, and a granite vanity with double sinks. The second bedroom also features a king bed, TV, and an ensuite bath with a shower-tub combination. Kids will love the mountain-style bunk room with two sets of log twin bunk beds and an ensuite bath with a shower-tub combo.
Other amenities include a whole-house Sonos sound system, washer/dryer, detached garage parking, and free shuttle services. Parking is underground with a maximum height clearance of 7 feet. Parking is limited to one parking space per townhome.

The apartment was a lot smaller than we realised with some clever photography.
Having rented houses before at Beaver Creek we didn't realise the townhouse would not be so spacious. The aspect was lovely although not sunny - overlooking the snow & trees of a catwalk off Hay-meadow - with ski school kids going past all day which was great energy. Three bedrooms (two doubles / one with 4 single bunks) each with a small ensuite - two with half baths and one with a steam-shower.
Chest of drawers to unpack, bathrobes & slippers provided along with fans / humidifier to use.
Under floor heating in bathrooms - wall heaters on walls kept rooms cosy. Wooden fire place in lounge was lovely & plenty of wood. Dining table long although cramped with all the chairs & bar stools. Board games in lounge - small tv in each room with large TV in lounge - netflix etc able to sign in.
Kitchen has everything you need - coffee perc, nespresso, slow cooker, pots/pans etc - BBQ gas outside as well. Generous supply of cleaning equipment & washing liquids etc.
Some ski boot warmers available & outdoor ski locker.
Beaver Creek pick up bus available using the APP - and only 5 minutes to the village or walk down before or after lifts have closed.

Had issues with door lock mechanism and was locked out of front of unit. No ceiling fans and only one fan for three bedrooms, while outside temps were in the 80’s. Master bedroom window did not shut properly and could not be repaired which added to temperature problems in that room.
Kitchen is well appointed and there are lots of utensils for cooking and grilling.
Unit appears to be next to slope but is not. It’s not far from slopes but is not actually slope side.
Property owner could easily take steps to make this a more comfortable for summer renters.

Exceptional Townhouse in every way
This townhouse was so great that we did not want to leave. It was beautifully furnished, comfortable, loaded with every single thing you could possibly need and is in a great location with a short walk to the village. The whole experience from the management company Moving Mountains was great. They were very friendly and attentive. I have been coming to Beaver Creek my whole life and this is the best place I have ever stayed. We can’t wait to come back and we definitely want to stay in this townhouse!
