Breakfast was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented, with homemade touches.
Location was very pretty and quiet, exactly what we wanted and expected.

Mo was a delightful and welcoming host and made us feel very welcome. She was very informative regarding the area and places to see. The location of the property was perfect, down a quiet country lane and set in lovely peaceful surroundings we could not have found anywhere that could have been more peaceful and relaxing.
Not a negative thing to say about our stay.

Breakfast was really nice Mo served us her homemade jams.
The sausages were not really nice they need to be not overcooked.

What a wonderful weekend break away, my partner and I travelled up for the weekend before continuing on to meet family, Mo was really accommodating the home was beautiful and situated in the quiet town of Hempstead, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Mo's breakfast selection was delightful and a lovely range, the homemade compote was delicious!! Lovely quiet break away
Nothing! Ticked all the boxes for us for a perfect weekend away.

This was an excellent spot to stay with easy access to Holt and the surrounding area (we were enjoying a reunion with friends in Salthouse, 4 miles away). It's a quiet and pretty country spot. The house is delightful, with interesting decoration and a lovely garden. Mo, our host, was friendly and very helpful: we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast and she was helpful with local information. The bedroom was comfortable and we liked having a settee at the end of the bed. An ideal place for an informal and personal touch while enjoying the area.
It was all fine, though perhaps the ensuite bathroom is a little dated - not a problem as far as we were concerned.

Beautiful location in quiet small hamlet outside Holt. House surrounded by gorgeous garden. Mo is a friendly hostess.

A lovely house in a lovely setting. Very peaceful with a reasonable size room that was well presented. a comfortable bed and a good shower ( no bath )
The house and facilities were all very good indeed but the house was a little way outside Holt down narrow country roads that could be difficult to navigate if dark

The location was good for our needs. We enjoyed the peace, quiet and tranquility of both the house and the gardens.
The breakfast choice and food was excellent and cooked to perfection. The home made, jams, preserves and compotes were wonderful.
Overall the comfort of the bedroom was excellent. However, the size of the double bed is too small. It really needs to be at least a king size bed.

Mo was an excellent host and we felt very welcome for our Easter stay. The breakfast was supurb with plenty of tasty local produce and the homemade fruit compot was delicious. The old world charm of an English country house was lovely, and for a large guy like me the high ceilings a really plus. The view over the village and beautiful large gardens of the house from the bedroom window is really gorgeous. You feel right in the heart of the Norfolk countryside.
The bed is a standard double, and so a bit on the small side for us (I'm a big chap 6'4"), but as the room is a good size it's no big deal.

Mo is an excellent host who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome and looked after. The cake and coffee on arrival was such a treat & the breakfasts amazing. (The home made jams lived up to the rave reviews!). Room was very comfortable and everything provided, (the new sofa in the room was a great addition). Highly recommend for a real home from home experience & good base for exploring local villages & towns.

A totally faultless place for us with a perfect host in Mo. We very much enjoyed our stay which comes with the most delicious breakfast. Location wise it is peaceful and close enough to Holt and the North Norfolk coastline.
Mo gave us a wealth information and superbly looked after our stay. We hope to be back again in the future.

The host was amazing nothing to much trouble you couldn't want for anything. The breakfast was wonderful all you could eat and more if you needed it. The room was comfortable and clean also the en-suite. The area was quiet and rural. You could get almost anywhere within 30mins.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, well cooked and tasty. It kept us going for the rest of the day until our evening meal. The whole house was extremely clean, well furnished in a traditional style in keeping with the beauty of the house and surroundings. Our host, Mo was very interesting and friendly, We also loved the fact that we could enjoy the delights of the garden whatever the time of day / evening.
We were actually loathe to leave. Other than that, I cannot fault our time at Garwood House.

Excellent location and breakfast
4.8
Good breakfast, Mo was friendly and fun, very hard working. The gardens were lovely and the location was ideal for the things we wanted to go and see.
The double bed was not a king size and for 2 large people, very cramped. Also, an armchair in the room would have been useful.

The house is in a lovely country setting. Very quite and peaceful area. Mo was wonderful: very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. Breakfast, a full English was delicious and we especially enjoyed the locally sourced sausages. We would certainly stay there again

Beautiful house and garden. Welcoming , friendly host who made us feel at home and provided home grown fruit compote for breakfast as well as excellent bacon & eggs etc.

The breakfast was what you wanted from a variety of cold to hot, as much as you like, encouraged by owner Mo.
Lovely garden to sit in if wanted

Where to start. Mo, the owner is so lovely. On our arrival we had tea and cake. Her cooked breakfasts were freshly made. Delicious. Cereal with yoghurt and homemade compotes was another option. Delightful.
Our room was a great size with en-suite bathroom. TV, tea making facilities, comfy bed. All excellent. We sat in the garden too, as the weather was warm enough but Mo accomodated us by getting her garden chairs out, nothing was too much bother.
Just 8 min drive to Holt and 20 mins to Sheringham and Cromer, ideal for us.
We'd stay again in a heart beat.

The breakfast was excellent, the homemade jam and marmalade were really tasty! Greeted on arrival with coffee and homemade cake. Mo is an excellent host.

Mo was exceptionally friendly and helpful and very informative about the area we had gone to visit. The house and gardens were immaculate, a beautiful quintessential 250 year old English property. Each breakfast was very good quality, with tasty local produce. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wholeheartedly recommend it

Nothing spoiled my stay.

A welcoming, friendly and helpful host with excellent local knowledge. A quiet and attractive location with a super garden, very comfortable bed and spacious room with good facilities. A very good breakfast. Flexible with our comings and goings as we were staying several nights.
No improvements needed.

Gorgeous location and setting. Comfy bed with an ensuite. The host was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating to requests, especially with arriving back late after a wedding and leaving my suitcase at the B&B after check-out to collect later. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Breakfast didn't disappoint either, and was delicious every day!

We could not imagine a better place to stay in the whole of Norfolk. Mo (our host) was charming and accommodating. Garwood House is beautiful, and the garden is simply magnificent. It was a weekend of firsts. We saw seals (not at Mo’s, obviously), played croquet on the lawn at Garwood House and spotted a Muntjac deer from the landing one evening. Breakfast was a delight, particularly Mo’s plum and gooseberry stew. We were very sad to leave, which says it all.

Breakfast was cooked to perfection using own fresh produce. Greeted with tea & cake.

Nothing to note.
