We are a family of 19 from PA and stayed in this property two years ago. We loved it then and decided to rent it again despite its high price. Unfortunately it has not been maintained, It no longer had cable TV, and the internet was slow and spotty. The ice maker in the main house did not work. The cookware was almost non-existent. There was a crock pot with no crock and no lid - just the metal outer container. There were no baking pans, and only three small-ish pots. There were no teaspoons, only tablespoons in the silverware selection. The floors had not been swept or cleaned and were quite dirty.
There were no water glasses - just high ball glasses. There was no iron and ironing board as noted. The pool was still great as well as the outdoor space. We will not stay here again.

We had a great weekend. The house was everything we expected! It had enough rooms for our group. The pool and backyard were wonderful!!
Will keep in mind for the next vacation!!

From afar this place is beautiful... it's when you start looking up close that you see this place is falling apart. Granite we stayed during a tropical storm, however, there were leaky windows and water running down the bathroom wall in the kitchen from the rain. Patchwork has been done everywhere. The chandelier's about the fall out of the ceiling, faulty outlets. If I could show you the pictures on here I'd place them on here so you could see for yourself. The price I paid not worth the three nights stay we had.

The location was great. Love the pool. We have more then enough room for everyone. Few rooms have private bath. Only thing was the floor wasn’t clean and we don’t want to wear the shoes inside but our feet gets very dirty. Some sheets aren’t clean so we re-wash them. The ice maker wasn’t working so we have to buy ice.

It was a beautiful home with all the amenities.

I'm not one to normally write reviews but just wanted to give another family with kids an honest opinion. This is clearly a party house rental. Everything inside was dirty, broken and desperately needed a paint job. The outside pool is amazing though. When we checked into the house the people before us clearly had a huge party and the poor cleaner was still there trying his best. Once he left we noticed some sheets were still dirty and not changed. There was makeup and hair all over one of the pillows. There were stains on all of the furniture. The back slider is in need of serious repair. There were ants in the master bathroom. There were holes all over the house in the walls and doors. Just beware if you are looking for a 5 star house, this is not it. If you are looking for an amazing party house then look no farther!

Enjoyed the house
Overall it met our needs being a large group. The location is great and the house fit our group. We had 23 and anymore would have been a logistical challenge inside the house. Communication with the manager/owner was good. Best part is the pool but warning we had the police stop by twice in the middle of the day for a "noise complaint" which was a bit crazy as we were just swimming, no screaming or loud music. Police were very nice and said to continue on as we didn't even come close to a noise infraction. So be warned one of the neighbors has the anonymous complaint line on speed dial. Over all great for a large group to enjoy the Jersey Shore.

Not impressed
Was not impressed pool did not filter properly and was dirty upon check in
Also there was cake stuck to the wall and hair in the shower .. the house was nice but the cleaning service has to go .. one person turning this house over in 4 hours is not enough …very poorly managed .. cleaner had to come back

So I would probably give 3.5 Stars if that was an option. The house is cosmetically very nice - but as the saying goes, the put lipstick on a pig. They flipped it really cheaply and you can tell - the floors are all warped and you fell like you may fall through some of them at any given time. Things in the house don't work (one shower has cold water, the first floor A/C was spotty, and the main refrigerator and dishwasher did not work right). The home owner is not responsive at all. Don't expect her to do anything. She's basically just looking to cash in. We contacted her several times during out stay and the answer was (if we even got one) was always - i don't think i can get out there.
All that being said - we really did have a great time. The house is nice and holds a lot of people (we were 16 people and we fit comfortably). The pool and back patio area is gorgeous and the pool is heated. The inside dining area is big enough for a large family. The TV's have cable. The house had WiFi but the signal was very weak - we had issues with it - so if you're coming to do work / zoom meetings I would be wary of that.
Walkable to the beach, but a little bit of a hike (4 blocks, then the trek from the street down to the beach which is also long) - we are not real beach goers so it was fine for us - we mainly hung out by the pool most days. Great local restaurants also within walking distance. Awesome bakery right next door which is a blessing (and a curse for that bikini body lol). Additional info - the beds are all quite firm and the kitchen is not what I would call "well stocked" - if you plan on cooking, bring what you need. There were basic pots, pans, plates & silverware - but knives were terrible, there was no veg peeler, no strainer for pasta, etc.
Linens and TP were provided. You need to bring towels, paper towels, garbage bags
We would stay there again - it worked for our family. No home is ever going to be perfect unless its your own home - there were definitely quirks and it would have been nice if the homeowner was more responsive but overall it is a decent house with a great pool. (the pool makes the house).

WWC June 2021 Great for families
This is a great place for a large family to stay right in WildWood Crest!
our family was <1 to 80 year old.
Great location - can easily walk to the boardwalk/ bike rentals and the Beach! There is a fantastic bakery next door and your mornings are filled with the wonderful aroma coming from the bakery (recommend sitting on the porch to enjoy)
The pool is perfect for all ages. There is a shallow end for the kids or for sitting in the shade. They shade umbrellas are perfect (one in the pool and one by outdoor seating)
The pool gets sunshine almost all day. The out door furniture is in great condition and comfortable.
The manager, Lana, is very responsive and took care of all of our questions and concerns right away!
There is plenty of room for a large family to enjoy eating together.
Plenty of silverware but would recommend bringing cooking utensils (ie spatula/wisk/sharp knives anything you use frequently)
There are 2 bedrooms with pvt bathrooms on the first floor. 3 bedrooms on the second floor, one with private bathroom and 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor. 3rd floor has a bathroom and perfect for kids as it has a lower ceiling.
The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that This is a new rental and still needs some work which I'm sure they are continuing.
The front porch has a warning for only 8 people and the side porch for 5 people. These both need to be replaced. (everything is nicelylabeled)
There IS a NEW porch off of the kitchen it is small but can fit 4 comfortably.
We would definitely stay at this property again

Great for families - pool is awesome (option to have heated), short walk to one of the few "no beach tag" NJ beaches (free), great bakery next door, good selection of restaurants nearby, but the big kitchen and dining room work great for large groups. Gas BBQ grill is a plus. Highly recommend.
