3 bedrooms were handy. As was the off road parking. Also being able to arrive late and depart early with a key box was useful.
The front double bedroom smelt stale and mouldy despite airing the room and purchasing air freshener to remove the odour. The electrics in the rear downstairs room were dangerous as they are wired incorrectly. Turning on switches from one end caused it to flash, but switching from the other end was ok. No TV antenna, so no terrestrial TV. The shower has less stability than a three legged donkey. You set the temperature and it is more of a guide. Prepare for hot and cold flushes even with no one touching anything else in the house. There were no hooks either to hang anything whilst showering. The rear garden was in a poor state of maintenance, and the front bedroom curtains were ill fitting, so prepare to wake up early

Lovely house, close to shops and a park. Quite a quiet area, neighbours were friendly and owners was lovely.

The property was lovely, spacious and very clean. The decor was fresh. Easy to find and very central. Easy to get to the M6 too. It was an added bonus that there was a sofa bed in the dining room downstairs that had doors which could be shut off for privacy.
Nothing. Everything was great :-)

Perfect House for our family. The hosts were really helpful and the property was really clean. We loved the secure garden, not overlooked at all and the neighbours were nice.
Can not complain, everything was lovely

Due to some difficulties with the hot water at Newfield House, the host phoned the day before to ask if we would be okay moving to another of their properties that had just been renovated. We said, we didn't mind. They were extremely apologetic and in general the communication was good. The alternative property had beautiful décor, modern facilities and a fully-functional kitchen.
The property we moved to, as a back-up property due to the issues with Newfield House, had just been renovated. As a result, there was a thin layer of wood dust over most of the surfaces. Furthermore, the central heating was not working. As I was about to phone the host, they arrived at the property to check we had managed to find the property and settle in okay (good communication, as above). I informed them that the central heating was not working, as the boiler would not turn on, even though seemingly being instructed to by the thermostat. After approximately an hour of attempting to get the boiler fixed, by phoning known tradespeople and Hive (the makers of the thermostat), the host had had no success. I offered to take a look having read the user and installation guides for the thermostat and receiver box. I managed to fix the problem, though the question remained as to why a competent electrician or heating engineer hadn't wired it correctly.
However, the biggest problem with this property is by far and away its location and, more specifically, the neighbours. For the entire duration of our stay, the neighbours were loud, shouting until 1-2am and starting again from 5am, as children woke up to get ready for school. Kids would be shouting at each other, and their mother, and the mother would be literally screaming back at them. Furthermore, one of the children would frequently kick a football at the extension to the rear of the property in which we where staying, which comprised the kitchen area. This could be heard clearly upstairs, in the main bedroom, and did more than enough to prevent a good night's sleep. This is clearly not the direct fault of the host, which is unfortunate, since they had communicated well throughout the trip; it is, however, an important factor the consider when booking one of this host's properties.

Excellent accommodation, everything spot on and really clean. The host was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again when I'm working in the area

The place was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, nice and quiet, off road parking.
Could do with another step into the house, stairs are very steep, kettle keeps switching itself off and the tin opener doesn't work. Nothing major really.

House was clean, tidy and the host was very welcoming and very helpful. Couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating.

Good sized house, clean, tidy and driveway was a bonus
Bathroom is small, and the door doesn't really give you much privacy.

The property was perfect for my stay. It had everything there. The house was very comfortable, very clean, easy access and with parking. I will definitely be staying there again.

Good sized bedrooms
Big fridge freezer
The curtains could have been better particularly in the dining room where there was a sofa bed that wasn't comfortable
4.1
The house was really noisy from the traffic and a bit dirty

The host was outstanding, exceptional service. In contact throughout and couldn't help enough.

Easy communication, met nearly all our needs and expectations, outside as people have commented is not great, but to be fair the vendor met us on arrival and apologized, and a gardener is due to start work soon apparently. The house is clean tidy and has a modern feel.
The fridge did not get cold, I told the vendor on leaving and she said she'd get someone straight onto it.
4.1
Everything was clean and the location quiet and comfortable.
Contact with hosts was pleasant and informitive.
