Camp RVA is a comfy stay for you & your pet! The host thought of everything for us & our furry friend. This home is located close to EVERYTHING in RVA, convenient for driving or ride-sharing, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

House was clean and as listed. It was a homebase as indicated. Not a neighborhood to wander around in to get coffee or walk to eat. Owner added small touches to make the stay nice

Lovely cozy place. Thank you for allowing our fur family members too!!!

The furnishings and decorating were nice and modern. The bedding was pretty with lots of nice pillows. There were soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower which was thoughtful and the snack basket was a fun touch. The small office in the master closet was a good idea. Some tlc on paint, flooring, and outlets (several weren't live) suggested. we like to cook and would have enjoyed more extensive kitchen items- but other guests may not care as much about cooking.

Made a long weekend trip to Richmond with my two pre-teen daughters and my 70-year-old mom and couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
First, there was plenty of space. The three bedrooms were perfect with the kids in the master splitting the king and mom and I each taking a queen room. Beds are a bit tall, but mattresses are nice and comfortable - and plenty of pillows!
There is a vanity in the walk-in closet of the master set up like a home office desk, so if you needed to bring your laptop and do a little work, that was an added bonus.
The upstairs bathroom has doors in both the hallway and the master, which is both a blessing for convenience and a curse (whoever is in the master bed can hear everything going on in there).
There is a TV in every bedroom with pretty much any streaming service you can think of, plus live TV available, which was great because we all wanted to watch different things to wind down at bedtime. There is also a TV in the living room, although we never used it during our stay.
We didn't cook in the kitchen, but it had everything you would need if you planned to during a longer stay. The hosts also graciously provided copious snacks (the kids were big fans!) and K-cups of coffee.
The washer and dryer was a huge plus too after we spent the day at the water park at Kings Dominion and were able to clean and dry our swim clothes.
Street parking and a pad in the back meant plenty of space for 2 cars if you needed it.
Highly recommend!

Nice house and very nice host. Snacks and dog treats get an A+. second floor can get very warm but host has left a fan which if you blow the air up the stairs cools the upstairs adequately.
good for pets and overall a nice experience.

We were in town because our son is stationed at the base. The rental location was cool because its near VCU and there are restaurants and sights near by. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was comfortable.

Wonderful home in a great location! We arrived to fresh flowers and a clean, well stocked home. Our host thought of everything and was very responive to any questions that I had. Loved having a place that we could bring our dog. The house had a nice fenced in back yard. We will visit Richmond again and plan to stay here when we do. Thank you!

We spent a short weekend in Richmond to visit our son who attends VCU but also to attend VCU's open house for our daughter who is also interested in attending. The house is pretty close to VCU which was a plus for us. The beds were comfortable and there was ample room/space for our family of 4. Kitchen was equipped with all the necessary essentials, the coffee and snacks were definitely a plus. It was a perfect place to spend the weekend together.

This house is very close to Careytown and Maymont Park. I had one minor issue but once I contacted the owner she immediately responded. This place was perfect for us! It was quiet and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The only issue that we had was that there were very few cooking utensils and not enough pots/pans. I prefer to cook when traveling and we only eat out one night. It saves us $$ and time. I made the owner aware and she came over within the hour. Everything else was fully stocked! When arriving we saw the wonderful coffee station, extra snacks and delicious treats!! My kids and I were very impressed. We would definitely stay here again.

My daughter will be attending VCU this year and I am so happy I found this property. Very clean and that fact I can bring my fur babies made it feel just like home.

The house was cute with a lot of space. I’ve never been to Richmond but the location was close to many places (VCU, Hollywood cemetery, interstate). Lots of places to eat and shop. Hostess had great communication before our visit! Neighborhood was safe and quiet with a cute park and bikes to rent down the street. Thank you to our hostess for the snacks and welcome!

Our children and their families live on northside but this southside location was very convenient to our favorite restaurants and shops where we spend time with them. Host was great.

My group (three couples) had a nice stay at this property. It was pretty much exactly what was described and in a cool neighborhood of Richmond. It was close to Maymont and Carytown, which we enjoyed for an afternoon. The house, particularly the steps and bedroom doors, can be pretty creaky or noisy, so you can definitely hear others moving at night. But on the positive side, it was clean with comfortable beds. It certainly met our needs and gave us a nice base for our weekend in Richmond. I'd stay here again.

We have stayed in many VRBOs over the years, and this was by far the most well equipped, comfortable, nicely decorated, and clean property at which we've ever stayed. Our pets enjoyed it too - we appreciated being able to bring them. We felt so welcome here - like clients, not just renters. Thank you!

The host was extremely helpful in explaining the process of entering the home and how we had full access to all amenities available. When I arrived, I noticed that pictures did not fully do the home justice. Each room had its own unique mood, showcasing their personalities, while featuring their settings of comfort. The entire house was designed well and clean from top to bottom. Overall, I and my party’s stay was pretty enjoyable and I would recommend it to all those, who are seeking a home, full of character, tranquility and relaxation.

Great place with easy parking, nice backyard for the dog, totally renovated inside. Will stay again next time I’m visiting VCU.

We loved this rental. Plenty of room to spread out with a living room that let us all watch a movie together. About a mile from our daughter's VCU apt, but a world away. So nicely appointed, amazingly relaxed atmosphere. We've made 3 trips to Richmond this year. Can't say enough about the available parking for this unit. Kitchen had everything we needed plus a bunch of tempting snacks. Landlord was both kind and responsive. Loved the attention to detail throughout the home.

Our 2nd time staying here. Lynley is a great hostess! House is clean, beds are comfortable, array of snacks, coffee, and special "Welcome Back" cookies on the table for us. We will stay again when in Richmond.

The house is a great size, 3 full size bedrooms and a comfortable living room, kitchen, and dining room. Fenced in back yard with porch was great to hangout in with the doggos. The location is walkable to all the good stuff on Cary and Main St near the Fan District, less than 20 minute walk to PBR and other good bars and restaurants, 10 minute walk to the Pit and the Peel on Main for some coffee and brunch. The host graciously has a bunch of snacks and coffee for use, in addition to dog treats! She even gifted us some local Crumbl cookies and had fresh flowers in the dining room and master bedroom. Great space for families with children or pets, awesome stay.

The location isn't the best but was priced according in my opinion. It was nice finding a house that allowed multiple pets with no weight restrictions. Was a great home base to check out the surrounding areas.

So glad we booked this townhouse for our family during our stay in Richmond! The location is nice and close to lots of great things to do! We really appreciated the extras—fresh flowers and a variety of snacks (my teens REALLY appreciated the snacks!). The beds were comfy and the house was well appointed. We enjoyed morning walks to the nearby lake and even the James River! Would definitely stay again.

Property is great! Location easily accessible to most attractions in Richmond if you have a car. Communication with the owner was easy. Owner provided snacks and fresh flowers as a bonus. We loved it.

Everything was well-done:
Clean, comfortable, decorated nicely
Abundant snacks, coffee, cookware, dishware, to go cups with lids, glassware, TVs (4), linens, utensils
Host extremely responsive, pleasant, & helpful
Basic supplies were plentiful: e.g., toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo conditioner, shower gel, sheets, towels, pillows
Hair dryers in both bathrooms, pet dishes, 2 irons, lots of drawers and storage bins.
Nice seating on both porches.
Only suggestion for improvement I can think of: is that it would have been nice to have bedside tables on both sides of beds.
Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and fairly quiet spot in a great location. Two large parks nearby and tons of available food options. We got takeaway from different nearby restaurants each night and also got groceries from Whole Foods, all within a 5-10 minute drive.

We loved this property! The owner left us several little "goodies" to welcome us on our trip and they were all appreciated. Beds were very comfortable and the living room gave us a nice space to just sit and talk during our college girl reunion. Highly recommend this space and will visit again when I'm back in Richmond.

Great place to serve as a base camp. Easy to park. Great place if you have pets.

This was a great short stay for my family who travel with two dogs. Layout was well organized, location convenient to major city neighborhoods, enclosed backyard great to let the dogs out. Owner had very thoughtfully stocked the house including welcome treats for people and dogs. Kitchen well furnished and very comfortable. Two of the three bedrooms were a bit small for the queen sized beds. Stairs were a bit steep for older folks. All bedrooms were upstairs. All in all it was a great stay, owner was very responsive during booking. I would say 4.8 out of 5.0. Would stay there again if traveling with pets.
