Centrally located on McLeary street, in front of the famous Kasalta Bakery & within walking distance of one of the local's favorite beach spots, Ocean Park. Featuring 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & open floor dining/living area, BBQ & patio area, high-speed Wifi, parking, AC, washer, dryer & beach essentials. Surrounded by a wide range of restaurants, cafes, local shops & just 10 minutes away from SJU.
As you enter our home be refreshed by brand new quiet air conditioning consoles that cool all rooms. Working with a one-of-a-kind and high 10-foot ceiling, our family cleverly designed an open floor plan so families and groups can enjoy themselves while dining, watching movies, or just chatting.
Living and Dining Area - Featuring a spacious living room area with Cable TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and high-speed internet 250mbps (with coverage in all rooms via multiple modems), this is the area where you will be watching movies, games, or just sharing good times.
There are 2 dining tables. We opted for an 8-guest dining table and a separate 4-guest taller table that can be used interchangeably for dining, table games, drinks, or workspace.
The Bedrooms - feature hotel-style headboards, all-new Serta Mattresses, clean, fresh linens, and new air conditioning consoles in all rooms.

2 Bathrooms + extra sink: One full large bathroom with double vanity, brand new shower, and toilet on the east side next to bedrooms #1, #2 & 3 (family bedroom). 2nd full bathroom is next to rooms #4 & #5 with a brand-new shower, sink, and toilet on the west wing. For the convenience of large groups, we decided to add a vanity in the common powder room area.
Fresh bath towels, beach towels, and bathroom essentials for your group are provided for the night of arrival including (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, and hand soap).
Outside the home, by the patio area, “hang to dry” hooks help keep the sand outside the home when coming back from a day on the beach. A new 4 guest spa (cool or hot) tub has been added to this area for your enjoyment.
The Kitchen: Fully equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances including electric stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, coffee machine, blender, bagel/bread toaster, Brita water pitcher, pots & pans, dishes, cooking and serving utensils for 12 guests. Your first-morning coffee is on us! The food preparation counter doubles as a breakfast nook or workspace with 3 tall stools. This is not a huge kitchen but everything is well allocated and its clean lines and simplicity make up for its size.
We have also set up a charming and welcoming private patio area in the house. It's perfect to gather around to BBQ or lounge to chat while enjoying the floating hammock chair and large rustic wood benches. This area has private access from inside or outside of the house and can be enjoyed day or night. Features a rustic tropical seating area, spa tub for 4 guests, and a charcoal BBQ with cooking utensils.
We provide all home essentials for your first days; liquid bath & hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilette paper, tissues, fresh bath towels, paper towels, trash bags, beach towels, a large beach cooler, and beach chairs for up to 2 guests. You may rent additional chairs in the ocean park beach 2 min walk from the house.

We give our guests space but are available when needed.
Next to Kasalta Bakery, Ashtanga Yoga, a 5-minute walk to Ocean Park beach, a 5-minute walk to Calle Loiza, a 15-minute drive to Old San Juan & 10 to La Plazita.
If you are visiting for 2-3 days, you will enjoy walking the area. Walk around to the beach, hotels, nightlife, restaurants, and more. You are most likely not going to need to rent a car. If you are staying for a few more days or if you are looking to explore the island, consider renting a car as taking taxis outside the San Juan area can be expensive. There is Uber available in P.R. and taxis have flat rates within San Juan, no meters. Expect to pay around $12-$20 for each cab ride. If you rent a car, the place includes a back-to-back parking spot for 2 compact cars so no need to struggle to find street parking.
You get the entire house for the private use of your guests. You will not be sharing your reservation with other guests or owners.
As part of any home safety measures, we include 2 fire extinguishers, 2 smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a home alarm system, and dusk till dawn exterior lighting. Rest assured that no cameras are inside the property to respect privacy. There are 2 security cameras on the outside of the property to assist with check-in and access.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit (with a processing fee of $15) or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS: These will be sent to you by email, you are responsible for accessing this information prior to your arrival. Call us in advance if you have any questions. Our office is open every day from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After hours you can always send an email or a text message.
OCCUPANCY – Guests will use the property only for the dates and times determined in the reservation. The occupancy of the property (reservation dates) begins on the date and time established for check-in and is completed on the check-out date and established time. Unless a previous late check-out is agreed by Capital Jetset and the guest(s) in writing, guests are expected to leave the premises on this established check-out date and time. Guest(s) acknowledges that in case they refuse to leave the premises on the established check-out time and date, they will be prosecuted by the law under the "Ley de Hoteleros de 1995 de Puerto Rico" and further charges for trespassing private property will be applied. Guest(s) acknowledge that they will be liable for all costs including but not limited to legal procedures, administration fees, and other expenses, incurred by Capital Jetset, its representatives, buildings or communities, and property owners in case of a guest(s) required eviction.
Guest(s) shall not use, occupy, or permit the described premises or any part thereof to be used or occupied by third parties or for any unlawful, illegal, immoral, or hazardous purpose.
All guests are expected to be respectful of residents, personnel, neighbors, and all living creatures while staying at the property and building. We have zero-tolerance for disrespectful, rude, loud, or violent visitors. We have the right to cancel reservations that cause any threats, situations that disrupt the community's well-being or involve the police. In these rare cases, guests will be escorted out of the property at the moment and no refunds will be granted.
MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF GUESTS ALLOWED-The maximum occupancy in your apartment is stated on your reservation, no additional guests may stay overnight at risk of having your reservation canceled without a refund. Do not give door access codes or keys to strangers. The person booking is responsible for any damages, keep this in mind when allowing others to stay at the property.
EARLY CHECK-INS are not guaranteed. It is ultimately up to the host to approve any check-ins before the agreed time. An accepted request to book does not mean your early check-in time was approved. You will need to send us a message asking us if you can check in early.
LATE CHECKOUTS must be approved by the management team. If you stay past your check-out time without approval, you will automatically be charged for the next nights’ stay at the listing’s full price.
PARTIES / QUIET HOURS-We a strict no-parties/noise violation policy. A noise detection sensor installed in the unit notifies us of high decibel levels. Loud music or a party occurs at over 75 decibels. We will provide one notification when the system detects over 75 decibels over 10 minutes and if the event occurs again, our staff reserves the right to cancel the reservation and request your immediate check out of the property. No refunds will be granted. Breaking this rule will result in a $200 fine. Quiet hours start at 9 pm until 8 am.
CANCELLATION POLICY – Review the cancellation policy that applies to your reservation.
SMOKING-This is a non-smoking property. This includes vapes/e-cigarettes and hookas. Breaking this rule will result in a $300-$500 additional charge and potentially the additional cost that is incurred by losing the next guest’s reservation because we cannot eliminate the odor in time for the next booking. A smoke sensor installed in the unit notifies us of smoking inside the property. There are no exceptions to Cannabis even with a license. Incense and candles are also prohibited.

Great time!
House was great for group of friends. Very close to the beach and Calle loiza for restaurants and bars. In advance of trip the property manager called and emailed me 3-4 times to help assist with the preparations. Only thing to be aware of is thin walls/street noise. If you have trouble sleeping be aware of that. Our group was fine with it personally

Take listing off VRBO. Do not stay here!
There are so many issues with this place I don’t even know where to start. I will say the host seemed responsive before we checked in and offered a 1 hour early check in.
However, I received a phone call and text message showing one of the shower heads in 1 of the 2 bathrooms was broken and she had her plumber coming to fix it later that afternoon. When we arrived the front door was unlocked even though codes are sent beforehand to enter and exit.
We were traveling with 4 adults and 2 children (7 and 8 years old). One of the bedrooms has a door that leads to the garage and the garage has an iron gate that can easily be opened if a criminal wanted to. Read the description very carefully.
The garage did not fit our two compact cars as stated (Hyundai accent and Nissan).
The biggest issue we had with this place was the cleanliness. There were blood spots and hair on the wall and door of one of the bathrooms. There are numerous dirty handprints and unidentifiable stains all over the walls. We found an old, stale pizza crust behind one of the couch cushions in the living room. During Covid, cleanliness is one of the most important factors for us. This is why we chose to rent on VRBO instead of a hotel. We were very disappointed with what we saw and believe this property falsely claims to sanitize between guests.
The WiFi box in the living room started emitting an incredibly high pitched sound that made everyone in our group feel like our brains were scrambled. The only way to remedy this was to turn off the WiFi and TV essentially rendering internet useless. We had people in our group who needed to work and were not able to.
The washer and or dryer ruined many pieces of clothing by burning/ leaving brown marks all over. We had to throw them away as they were unwearable.
The hot tub did not work and flashed an error message with loud beeping.
There was a leak through one of the walls that had been recently patched. The water seeped down to the floor and got luggage wet.
The second we woke up in the morning we booked a hotel and vacated the unit as quickly as possible.
I emailed the owner of the property and they offered to have a cleaning crew come and someone to check the WiFi. We were already gone and not wasting anymore time of our vacation on this. I never received another response from the owners after two attempts by me. Pictures are deceiving and owners are careless. brookebh1 @gmail (no spaces) for proof. DO NOT STAY HERE!
