I was impressed with the overall cleanliness and setup! It was pretty nice. Kind of small but cute. The neighboring houses are really close but no issues just alot of rules!

Pleasant stay
The house was very hot inside when we checked in, and it took a while to cool it down due to strict AC rules. Tiny kitchen, no dish washer. Stiff/firm beds. Lots of traffic on the water, but we enjoyed safely tying floats to the dock & swimming. Our girls weekend was a success and we had a blast at this house!

Excellent waterfront yard and deck for family fun and hanging out. Plenty of space, clean, comfortable, and beautiful views of the river.

Beautiful relaxing spot on the Guadalupe
Plenty of room and a beautiful spot for a family get together on the Guadalupe River.

Good for a weekend getaway
Our friends had to evacuate because of hurricane Laura and the owners were nice enough to let them come a day early. It was very nice, right in the lake, about 20 minutes from the Guadalupe horseshoe to float. It is in a neighborhood so you have to watch your noise later at night, but it was still very nice and accommodating for our group of 7!

weekend getaway
This was a cute and cozy little duplex right on the mcqueeny river that is shared with the tenant. The owner Ed was very friendly and welcoming on arrival, making sure to show us around and felt at home! He was very easy to get ahold of if needed during our stay with any questions or concerns. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for the 8 adults that we had stay with us ( could have fit another couple or 2 with us). Basic necessities needed were supplied such as towel, toilet paper, ice and cooking pots, pans and plates. Very peaceful in the mornings to sit out on the dock and watch the sun rise while all the boaters/ jet skis go by. The river out back is not one that you can go floating down the river on but you can get in and stay stationary by the dock which is what we did in the evenings! About a 15 minute drive to the Comal river. We would definitely stay in this house again when in the area.

Great time!
We had a great time! We were a little surprised at the boat traffic along the river. I see now why you want to watch little ones. We thankfully had teenagers and they enjoyed every moment.

A Bit Deceiving
The property is listed as a duplex. Judging by the picture this makes the rental appear to be bigger than it actually is. The truth is you only get 1/4 of the property and not 1/2. The kitchen is very small! With seven of us it could get very crowded. Except for the queen in the main bedroom, the beds were not at all comfortable. We thought being on the river would be a bonus to play or swim. It wasn't. The river is not at all user friendly. Boats and jet skies fly by constantly. They go very fast so you do not want to be in the water! It wasn't the worst but there are definitely better places for the money. I would not rent this place again.

Wonderful Experience
Our family of 8 had a great time at this lake house. We thoroughly enjoyed being so close to the water all weekend and spent a lot of time swimming off of the dock. The house was stocked with everything we needed, which was very nice. I highly recommend this home.

Lovely place
We really enjoyed our weekend getaway, the backyard is like paradise, and the neighbors are the ones whose family owns it, where soooo nice they offered of us anything they had since we were there in the corona mess and most things were on limited capacity or shut down! We really enjoyed it, it’s in a nice quite neighborhood and only 10 minutes from everything! I highly recommend this place! ❤️
