A fabulous cottage bursting with charm and beautifully presented. It’s been very tastefully modernised to a high standard to provide an extremely comfortable (especially the master bed), cosy and homely stay. Lots of character has been maintained making it unique and feel special. The kitchen was very well equipped and it made a lovely touch to have some basics waiting for us on arrival after a long journey.
There was plenty of space for our 2 families of 4. Our children enjoyed the bookcase collection and piles of games. The large garden was great for kicking a ball around and burning off energy. I can imagine it’s gorgeous to relax in during warmer summer months too. There were cushioned chairs and loungers, we just needed more sun.
The owners were extremely responsive, kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Couldn’t ask for more!
The local Kings head pub a few minutes walk away was perfect for a night off cooking. The local post office was very well stocked. The local sausages were delicious! Some great walks to local sites, even in the howling wind and lashing rain.
We highly recommend a stay here.
We can’t think of anything we didn’t like. The weather could have been better!

After booking we had genuine personal attention from the host who wanted to make sure everything was spot on for what we needed.
The cottage was immaculate and beautifully furnished. Well equipped kitchen and very spacious.
The rooms are all good size doubles and a really impressive master bedroom & bathroom.
There's a huge garden that is well fenced so safe for kids and pets to play in, bi-fold doors opening up to the patio with gas BBQ.
The village is quiet and peaceful. Serviced by many nice pubs serving good food.
It really was a touch of luxury and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
