This was by far my families best vacation. The house was extremely clean and equipped with everything needed. Kuerig, drip coffee pot, propane grill, towels, bed linen, plenty of games …. Although the lake is the real prize. We swam from early to late, kayaked, fished, paddle boarded, loved the rope swing and trampoline. You can see all the little added touches (like flowers on the dock) that make this house even more special. Karen was quick to respond and recommended an awesome Deli for our boat day on Lake George (only 1/2 hour away). Recommend food shopping at Price Chopper a short drive away. We are already booked for next year because this house is a Diamond.

My trip to Lake George was nothing short of magical, thanks to the hospitality of our host, Karen. Not only did she welcome my three dogs with open arms, but she also ensured that every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The location itself was breathtaking, nestled by a serene pond that provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. What truly set this experience apart was Karen's attention to detail and genuine care for her guests. She went above and beyond by reaching out to us about the possibility of witnessing the Northern Lights if the skies cleared, the skies did indeed clear and, wow! Karen's dedication to making our visit unforgettable truly shone through, and her thoughtful gestures made all the difference. From the warm welcome to the personalized touches throughout our stay, it was evident that she takes great pride in ensuring her guests feel at home. I can't recommend this getaway enough, especially for pet owners seeking a peaceful retreat with their furry companions. Thank you, Karen, for creating such a memorable experience. Our group loved our stay. Hosts were responsive and great about making sure we got there and were comfortable. House had plenty of space for our group and boats and beach were a great hang. Would love to.come back when we can swim!

This was the perfect stay for our ski adventure at Gore Mountain. Karen was so helpful and attentive to our needs. The house is just so cozy and warm. I couldn't wait to drive back at the end of my long and cold day of skiing. The drive around the lake to the house is about 2 miles but my teenage son really enjoyed the adventurous feel of this remote location. The lake is amazing to view even in the winter. Our dog, Nessie, was in heaven as we walked her each day down to the boat house and in the forest area. Highly recommend.

Love this home! Very quiet and very cute on the water...even if frozen! Very spacious for our family and had everything we needed. The weather and skiing were not great, but we had a fantastic time playing games and just enjoying the family. Gore was about a 30 min drive. We will be back!

Location and house was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing week. House is exactly as described, the pond is picture perfect to enjoy with the supplied boats or just drink coffee in a chair on the dock. We very much enjoyed our time and will be coming back!

The house was amazing. We stayed for the summer, specifically for the lake. Water is right outside the house. Plenty of beach space. Plenty of Boats and canoes. The house is only a 20 minute drive to lake George. Very quiet area, no traffic.

This property was the perfect place for my friends to get together for our annual lake house vacation! All the amenities and privacy you would want with easy access to the beautiful lake. Karen was wonderful to deal with through the entire process and was always quick to respond. The property is also very pup friendly! We had a lovely time and would consider renting this property in the future.

Very clean, well-stocked, spacious home, on beautiful pond. Fun variety of boats and great dock for fishing for the kids! Our family loved roasting marshmallows at the firepit too! Host was very responsive to our questions. The location is secluded and very peaceful, but it is not far for Lake George activities. Many happy memories were made here this week!

House and location were great. It would be nice if trash was picked up every few days, made a couple of runs to transfer station with multiple bags of trash. It adds up especially if you just want to stay at house and enjoy it with family. Also, we received a couple of texts to move vehicle blocking road to neighbors property that was roped off - no house there and no one ever came through. We weren’t aware of no parking there. Second text came minutes after my son unknowingly parked there, then moved when we alerted him about no parking there. It was moved immediately, but we still received text. This got us thinking about how many cameras were on site and how much we were being observed. A bit uncomfortable about our privacy after these texts, especially how quickly the second on was sent. Great place, but be aware of multiple cameras.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s property. Host was very accommodating and easy to reach. Plenty of space for two families with 5 kids and a dog. House was fully stocked and very comfortable. Very convenient to Gore mountain and the village of Lake George. Overall a great trip!

It is so nice to take a deep breath along with family over the Thanksgiving break- we cannot wait to come back!! Karen is so responsive and you just can’t beat the location!! Highly recommend!!!!! I would leave 10 stars if I could!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Kelm Pond. The setting made for beautiful pictures and fun outdoor activities. We spent a lot of time in the boats provided and hiking the trails. We brought our own infant life jackets but many sizes were provided down by the dock. The pond is so peaceful and the views are spectacular! The house was beautiful, very clean and nicely decorated for fall. The main bedroom is a very nice size. Plenty of extra room for pack n plays. The kitchen provided a drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig, a variety of pots and pans, a blender, and a crock pot. We also used the gas grill and the propane was provided. Karen was a perfect host. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot. Hoping to return next year!

The pictures do not do this property justice. The house was perfect for the nine of us. It was comfortable and well equipped, but the real selling point is the pond and outdoor space. We spent time each day either in or on the water. We fully utilized the kayaks and canoe and loved every minute of it. It is so convenient to walk out your front door and be on a kayak within seconds. The kids loved the rope swing and swimming in the pond. In the evenings, we hung around the campfire roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Perfect summer fun! The property is close to many area attractions, yet peaceful and remote. Each morning as I enjoyed my coffee on the dock, I was struck with how quite and serene it was. Communication with the owner was easy. She replied to my questions extremely quickly and checked in on us a couple of days into our trip to make sure everything was okay. Check in/ check out was a breeze. We're already making plans to return next year.

Property is one of the nicest we've stayed at. Very clean and private location. We have teenagers and they loved swimming off the dock as well as using the rowboat, kayaks, canoe and paddleboat. Rope swing was awesome too. Highly recommend!

Very nice location, lovely lake with pretty views from house and dock. Awesome screened porch and bbq for outdoor meals. Lots of boats for the whole family to enjoy the lake. Great swimming and relaxing on the dock. Everything you need for a summer vacation.

We had a wonderful trip at Kelm Pond retreat. It is peacefully tucked away in all the splendor of a lakehouse in the mountains. It was the perfect private setting for our kids and dogs. Everyone enjoyed the water activities including the kayaks and boat provided. Our host was very attentive. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks so much!
