This cabin is perfect for small families or couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Lazy Oaks is located on 60 beautiful acres of wooded land. The location is ideal, offering privacy and seclusion on a quiet country (paved) road and yet only 3.4 mile off US Route 33 (only 1 mile off S.R. 595). Approximately a 30 min drive to the many Caves, Trails and Rock Formations that has made Hocking Hills Famous! To further add to the appeal of this unique location, It is located within 10 miles from 7 Major Wayne National Forest Trail Heads and the Brass Ring Golf Course and Restaurant is located only 7.3 miles from your cabin door. Very nice and quiet. Could use a bit more cleaning and tlc but over all it was a great place to spend a couple of days.

The cabin itself is nicely laid out, however, as soon as we walked in we were overwhelmed with a strong scent from a cleaning product. The cabin wasn't very clean. There were crumbs on and in both the couch and loveseat, food stuck on the trashcan, counters dirty, coffee pot had brownish liquid left in the pot as if they just rinsed it out and despite the smell of floor cleaner the floors were still dirty with crumbs and dead insects. The bedding in the main floor bedroom was filthy- bad smell and had what seemed to be food stuck to the comforter, so we had to make a trip to town to get laundry pods to wash the bedding before sleeping in it. Both of the bathroom tubs were filthy with dirt and dead insects so we also had to clean those before showering and they did not drain properly so when we showered it would fill up to about halfway (property manager was made aware of this) Overall, we were not satisfied with our stay here. For them to charge a cleaning fee and it still be that filthy to where we had to go into town to buy cleaning products and a candle (the smell of the floor cleaner was awful, smelled like dirty dishwater) to clean the bathroom, bedroom, living room AND kitchen is unacceptable. We were hoping to find a new cabin to be our regular getaway when we go to hocking because the one we normally stay at was sold and no longer able to be booked but due to the filth and the amount of cleaning we had to put into here, we will not be returning

We decided to spend Christmas morning in the hills and had a great time. It was chilly but we woke up and sat in the hot tub. Everything was great.

We rented this cabin for my birthday with my 2 kids and husband. It was quiet and relaxing. We loved the hot tub and just hanging out on the back porch to eat after using the grill. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay in the Lazy Oaks cabin for our annual girls trip! Although there were other cabins nearby, it was very quiet here and felt tucked away in the woods. For the most part, all we heard were birds chirping! The cabin was fantastic - very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a great feature. Some other reviews had mentioned issues with the jets but we did not experience any problems. Would definitely book here again!

We love the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the cabin we stayed in for our weekend visiting the Hocking Hills area. The cabin provided a very peaceful time for us even on a rainy day during our weekend. We loved the fire pit area and hot tub. We had read in other reviews that the hot tub had some jets that didn’t work well and that was true, but we still enjoyed it. The upstairs bathtub drain was very slow, but there was another full bath that we used after realizing this seemed to be a problem. Overall, great stay and beautiful peaceful area for a weekend away.

3rd stay at lazy oaks and always relaxing, quiet, clean and Cozy. Back deck is great with plenty of room, hot tub & grill. Won't lie the bed left me with a achy back but its fine.

The cabin was just as pictured. The back deck is where we spent most of our time. The hot tub could definitely use an upgrade, most of the jets did not work. The property was great- quiet and no one around. The pool table downstairs helped for the rainy night we had. The steps down from the driveway to the front porch are quite steep(probably could use a railing of some sort). We did not use the fire pit as it rained majority of the time we were there.

The property is great, loved the stay. Only few small things, one being the the hot tub is a little dated half the jets don’t work just looked old, two being we had a move problem. But overall was a great stay.

It’s a nice cabin for a couple and maybe 2 kids max. Plumbing definitely needs updated shower head doesn’t work very well and both toilets are barely attached to floor flange. But it’s very private and decent.

The location was amazing and super private. The manager of the property communicated with us throughout the reservation and check in process. There was one older TV in the whole cabin and the hottub did not work great. The water stayed warm but the jets pressure was weak. It’s time for a new hot tube and TV or two. Other than those things the cabin was amazing!!

My wife and I spent a couple days at this cabin and really enjoyed our trip. The place was nice and easy to get to and the cabin was very cozy upstairs and nice and spacious downstairs. The deck upstairs was allot of fun to sit out on and relax . I would definitely come back and next time bring my family , there is plenty of space .

We had a great time at the cabin. Everything was as described. The only thing I will say is that the stairs are pretty steep, so if you have small children you might want to be a little careful. However, our kids still loved the basement and the pool table and had a great time here. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Cabin is super cute. Loved the location. It’s about 30 minutes from the caves but in the fall it is a beautiful drive. Only thing to update is the kitchen cookware. We would definitely stay again.

Overall great experience. Very cozy cabin, great wooded lot, incredibly clean, comfortable bed, and plenty big enough for a family of five. The hot tub isn't all that great, but we're not picky about that. Otherwise, the property is as advertised. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the lazy oaks cabin! We were close to all the different hiking trails in Hocking hills. The bed was very comfortable and it was very nice to have our own secluded place! The hot tub could use a little work but otherwise it was a very nice 3 night's away! Thank you for having us!

This cabin is gorgeous, well appointed and extremely clean. We used it for a friends getaway and it was perfect! Located close to outside activities like kayaking, canoeing and local restaurants and wineries. Highly recommend for romantic getaway, friends getaway or even alone for the quiet. Fire pit and hot tub make staying in just as fun!

My fiancé and I kind of used this trip as a little getaway before our little one comes in December. It wasn’t too far from local grocery stores and was great scenery, felt nice to be in the woods and feel secluded from everyone. We definitely enjoyed our time just sitting out back reading books, sitting by the fire or playing pool.

The cabin was so nice and clean upon arrival! It has central air which was perfect for those 90 degree days. My husband and I loved coming back here after full days of hiking to soak in the hot tub. Couldn't have asked for a better place to relax.

My husband and I stayed over Labor Day weekend. Was looking forward to getting away from it all. I will start with the positives. Cabin was spotless! The bed was super comfy and the water pressure (it's the little things) was wonderful. The cabin was pretty secluded, which we appreciated. The back deck was nice and large, which leads me to the negatives... DO NOT book this cabin until the hot tub is repaired or REPLACED. It was not working the entire time we were there. The people before us noted that as well. There is no pressure behind the jets, jets are broken off, it leaks (check out the deck underneath the hot tub), and it loses water. Maintenance was kind enough to come out twice but could not get it going. I just hope it's up and running for the next renter as WE book cabins only with hot tubs because that is what we enjoy! I asked the owner for a partial refund since we didn't get what we paid for and I was told that per our contract, we can't get refunds for hot tub issues. I understand things break down, but if you can't provide working equipment as described in your cabin ad, then partial refunds should be offered. Pretty disappointed with that response. We were offered a $50 discount on a future rental but no thanks.....we'll ago elsewhere. Owner was also hard to reach, which was also disappointing. WiFi was sketchy (in & out). Could only receive texts. DVD player remote was missing and DVD/TV only worked half the time. Be cautious renting.

We loved this cabin, perfectly tucked away from everything! It was a perfect size for just the two of us, but we loved the downstairs element which allows for the kids to join us next time. The back deck was used the most, with the amazing hot tub and scenery. Old Man’s Cave is a short drive away if you enjoy hiking and sight seeing. We loved the Amish furniture stores and shopping in town as well. We plan on coming back again! Thank you for a great stay!! ❤️

Great, the main bathtub is something to get used to - the slant, the hot tub was fixed same day, the dollar was rehid - it's hard to pick a part somewhere/something so calm and chill, would definitely re-visit.

Loved the cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Secluded enough to feel totally private. Make sure you take anything you might need. Charcoal grill, wood burning fireplace and firepit.... no lighters or matches!
