Histrical romantic getaway with a great pool!

Fantastic, charming, and relaxing getaway location! Elena and Massimo were so warm and friendly, perfect hosts. The historical villa and gardens are romantic and wonderful, full of character. Room was spacious and well apportioned with antique furniture, very nice bath and shower. Swimming pool was perfect and super clean, bigger than in photos! Decent Continental breakfast in a delightful, huge dining hall with beautiful wall murals. Location is quiet and woodsy on a hillside not far from the small village of Nocchi.

More and more convenient electrical outlets would have been nice, particularly more than one German-style (Schuko) plug on the far side of the room. A few dust bunnies under the furniture.

Puccini festival

The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the cleaning every day was very thorough. The pool was lovely. The location is convenient for the Puccini festival being around 25 minutes by car from Torre del Lago and there Re my restaurants a shortish drive away

A superb historical marvel

The location and the domain is a very special, exceptional one. The pool area is super clean, the water warm, the sun beds good quality. The lawn and the garden are very well maintained. The villa itself is of a very old construction, but perfectly restaurated, the rooms are perfectly clean and very spatious. The general feeling is an exceptional one.

The lack of A/C in the apartments is the only negative element we experienced, it affected the night sleep quality a bit.

Very nice family run Villa. Excellent welcome. Very beautiful villa with a big pool. Couple good restaurants nearby.

Do not expect a modern room, this is old historical villa.

Wonderful week!

Beautiful surroundings and villa, spacious rooms and great pool. Owners are very kind and take great care of their guests with the whole family!

Disappointing

I like the fact that everything in the room was very clean.

I don't think you get the value for the money. I didn't like the bed-the mattresses were very low quality and the bed was quite short (luckily me and my partner are quite short) so we had trouble sleeping. If the beds would be bigger and new it would make a change right away. The rooms and the hallway are pretty dark-much darker than on the pictures. The breakfast is quite poor-nothing fresh prepared (like eggs), got the fruit on the second morninf, after I asked for it. Maybe a better breakfast would also make a change. The pool is nice,but too deep for kids. My kid is 6 and couldn't stand in it.

Outstanding..the real Italian experience

We had a wonderfull stay in this Italian villa. The host was very welcoming and gave lots of tips. I would certainly recommend it.
