A lovely heritage hotel

The management were lovely enough to let us check out at a later time as my dad was unwell on day of check out. The staff were helpful. The rooms were heritage and lovely.. however difficult to access for those with mobility difficulties. The spaciousness was amazing. Location was great.

Heritage rooms did not provide adequate accessibility options for elderly, which is something I should have checked before booking. Not easily accessible areas ( check in area/ access to rooms) for those with accessibility issues. IT Security issues meant we had to log in to wifi everytime we came in and out of rooms. The staff provided me with an email list of things to do… however it would have been easier if they had given us a print out of activities and even a menu/ manual way to contact reception staff from the rooms.

Great place to unwind.

Food: Excellent. Go for it. Fabulous personalized service, Rajesh is the man! Reach out to him for any special arrangements and he delivers them professionally with a touch of great hospitality. Great location.

The drinks menu could have been more comprehensive.

Excellent emplacement, bon petit déjeuner, architecture agréable, nourriture de bonne qualité

Très bruyant, impossible de se reposer, climatisation (nécessaire) qui souffle droit sur le lit, nombreux interdits qui se concrétisent par un règlement intérieur strict incompatible avec une service digne de ce nom, service moyennement attentionné d'ailleurs, le spa ne mérite pas son nom, non professionnel

Highly recommend if you want to find an old French style boutique hotel in white town.

Very neat and clean. Full fledged restaurant Mira , complimentary breakfast spread was great. Had lunch and dinner, served cutomizd kid friendly items. All dishes pastas, prawn curry , rice, dal were superb . Crab cake was ok. Pool was clean with crystal clear water.

Nothing much felt a little under staffed during rush hrs.

Ne pas pouvoir dormir avant 24h00, au vu du prix c’est pas terrible.

La piscine, la situation, la décoration

Concert jusqu’à de 21h30 à 24h00. Impossible de dormir avant. C’est un lieu extérieur à l’hôtel d’où vient la musique, mais qui résonne dans dans la cour de l’hôtel, vraiment excessif. Malgré nos remarques, il n’y a pas eu d’intervention du staff durant les 4 nuits de notre séjour.

Bonne étape à Pondichéry

Hôtel bien situé, très propre. Les lits sont confortables. Belle piscine rafraîchissante. Personnel impeccable. Le taxi pour Kumbakonam avec visite de chindambaran et gangaikondacholapuram en route a été très apprécié. Merci monsieur !

Petit déjeuner ok mais le restaurant est sans charme. Nous avons donc préféré aller manger ailleurs pour les autres repas.

Pleasant, energizing and wonderful. We were a groups of 6, with 3 being 70+ in age.

Super clean hotel. well designed and most amazing bathroom I have ever come across as a global traveler. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful, they seem to be enjoying what they do.

Mosquitoes! Not any fault though if the hotel. They did their best to help.

Not value for money and their rate is 4 times higher than normal rates , no facility at all , food too bad . Simply waste of money

The hotel was very clean and functional.

I could have put a note up to 10/10 but unfortunately a staff of this hotel was not friendly and was unpleasant which lowers the note. Indeed, we had the right to have breakfast in our room and this one wanted to refuse for an unknown reason. Once the complaint was made to the manager, he no longer said hello during our visits, I find it unacceptable for an employee to react in this way! He does not realize the image that this can send back. Apart from this problem, the other members of staff were very welcoming and caring.

The hotel is well located in White town. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast had a decent spread. The pool is nice as well.

Everything! A minibar that actually works was a highlight.

Services can't shut down at 1015 pm. in a fun place like Pondy. Especially when there are no snacks in the room.

Exceptional

We loved the rooms and the sheer size of it as well as the bathrooms. We loved the main reception staff and some junior restaurant staff, very pleasant and very helpful. Very happy with our stay.

Breakfast could have been a better. 1 staff wasn't very pleasant. Dirty plates and trays weren't cleaned in time, resulting in mess created by birds.

It was good, but expecting better

Location is superb, staffs are very friendly. Food is also very good in taste and presentation.

Need to add some container (plate/glass) to keep materials like brush, paste etc. at washroom; some common items like brush, paste, razor, comb etc. should be kept in each washroom considering the price of the hotel.
