This is a very pleasant small hotel, run by Julie, who was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants, things to see etc. It is very handy for the train station and there is a bus stop just round the corner where several of the city buses stop (although the city is small and walkable). The breakfast was very good. The rooms are well-appointed and the hotel is very quiet.
I really can't fault anything.

My room was roomy, clean and had a balcony. The breakfast was great and staff very helpful. I was directed across the street to buy a €3 RT bus ticket into Venice. Good location. I received good value for the.price.
1.0 / 10.0
The room itself is worth 6, but for the following reasons I can only give it a 1. I am Genuis 3 level and the lowest rate that I gave before is 9. I confirm that my following remarks are impartial.
The room claims to have 22m², but it has 16m² at most, and this is cheating and dishonesty.
The bathroom has no door, so no privacy, and the water just overflows everywhere. And the hot water runs out very fast. The curtains are small, not long enough to shun the sunlight.
The air conditioner is very noisy. The room is open to the courtyard, and the door and window are not soundproof, you can hear people laugh and talk in the courtyard, as well as traffic noise.
The room cannot be locked from outside. So we had to leave our door unlocked while we were out.
But the worst issues are as follows:
To begin with, this is not a hotel, but more like a private lodging, and a very irregular one. Second, the “hotel” (just as a convenient label) is autonomous and digital. No one is there to receive you. Third, the “hotel” doesn’t welcome children under 15 years old. None of these irregularities are highlighted or made conspicuous or evident. If we had known all these issues, we definitely would not have chosen this “hotel”, because we have a four-year-old child.
The worst comes: After we checked out and left, to our greatest astonishment, we received a message from the landlord, telling us that they have charged us an extra 50 euros because we made the room dirty. She called us “the dirties people she ever saw” and insinuated that we are dogs!!! (I attached the photos of our conversation). The landlord seems to be unaware of the fact that the cleaning fee is included in the rent. All the issues concerning “the dirty” — traces of faeces in the toilet, tissues on the floor — are very slight and trivial. The reader can judge by the photo whether it is serious or not.
We have made a complaint through Booking, and we will make a sue for personal abuse. Never in our lives have we been thus thoroughly insulted and verbally abused. The single fact that the landlord compared us to dogs is intolerable.

It is clean, safe, close to the train and the Old City. State of the art registration. Excellence, star of the art room designs. Optional breakfast very good. Easy in and out.

The owner Julie was very helpful. Check in was easy and the room was comfortable and attractively decorated. It was lovely having some outdoor space with a patio table and chair outside our room. You have breakfast in the beautiful dining room in the villa. It’s a continental breakfast with great variety and choice. Super handy for the train station and a very pleasant walk to the centre of Narbonne.

Slight trepidation dealing with a totally digital access and payment system for the first time but it all went swimmingly. Small hotel - 8 rooms. Comfortable bed. Great decor. Everything worked well. Recommend it.

Beautiful place and very comfortable. One of the prettiest places I have stayed in all my travels. The host was so nice and helpful. She made sure I had a good plan to visit the area and made good suggestions. The breakfast is a must. The decor was amazing. It felt very safe and the automated check-in was cool and easy.
It was a bit away from the city center, but it was convenient for the train station.

The only issue was when you search for a property with breakfast included this hotel comes up. Unfortunately you then have to pay extra for breakfast.

Beautiful property, a five minute walk from the train station. Gorgeous accommodations and the large rainfall showerhead after a long day of travel was a treat.
Directions on how to lock the door from exterior and interior.

Nice location near train station. Julie the owner is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is nice and makes the whole hotel interesting.
Be aware: This hotel is self checking, no reception as such. Also if you come by car try to park by the station as other public parking is only free from 6pm to 9am.
The bed mattress was a bit too soft for us.

A unique stylish, comfortable and private …. almost exclusive hotel. Very clean, air conditioning a relief from the 30 degree heat. We had two bedrooms, security very good right from the entrance, automatic key allocation, beautiful courtyard and welcome terrace. Shower facilités are good. Beds comfortable. The owner Julie, has fabulous taste in décor-style and was very helpful and generous with her time. A great host who was clearly keen to make our stay in Narbonne a good one.
All good and better than 4 star chain hotels. Nothing bad to say

The room was very clean, very quiet and it had air-con. This was much appreciated, particularly as the outside temperature was over 30 degrees Celcius. Importantly (especially for the Brits) there was a kettle!! We brought milk and teabags, so we could make a lovely cup of tea at any time. The breakfast was excellent.
There was a quiet courtyard and a sun terrace (which we didn't use, as we were out sightseeing all the time).
The host and her daughter were lovely and very kind.
We could walk to the centre of Narbonne within 10 minutes, so a great location.
Nothing - it was perfect.
Outside of the host's control - we needed to pay for street parking all the time, as we'd driven there, about £7 a day.
