Residence hotel, cheap n cheerful

This hotel is well located in relation to the train station. But the internal walk ways to rooms are a bit gloomy. There is no on site Onsen but they have an association with a facility 8 mins walk away. That did not appeal to us. The rooms are ok a little dated but clean and in good repair and having the washer dryer in the room is terrific. But. They need to obtain proper bed pillows to sleep on. They have small children's ones l think and when you turn over you have to scoot back to re place your head onto the very small pillow. But for a one night stay it was fine for the cost. The room size is fantastic like a small single bedroom apartment.

Location and the kitchen inside the room. The room is quite spacious. The free tickets for onsen and gym in the town is also useful.

A very short stay and very comfortable. I loved Takayama. Note for travelers: most restaurants and shops closed on Wedne

My room was huge (for Japanese standards) with a comfortable bed, balcony, kitchen, walk in shower, and washing machine/dryer. I even had detergent, which meant I could put a load of washing on straight away! A lovely welcome drink in the cafe (PS it’s not a “soft drink” as written on the voucher as coffee and teas are on offer).

To be critical, the corridors smelt like a hospital. Too much cleaning product used. The smell a little overwhelming, but at least you know it’s clean! Make sure the balcony doors are both closed as it can be a little noisy being so close to the tram station.

북알프스 산행 후 땀에 젖은 옷을 세탁할 수 있고, 전자렌지, 취사가능한 부엌도 좋았고 무엇보다 마루바닥이라 정말 좋았습니다 물론 바로 옆이 버스터미널,기차역인 점도 최고!

Great base for the Japanese Alps

Great location next to the JR and bus station. Close to restaurants etc and within walking distance of Old Town Katayama with all the nice shops and restaurants. Very spacious room, with fully equiped kitchen. Complementary sake in the fridge was a nice touch. Nice beds, great shower. About halfway our trip the washing machine / dryer combination was very useful. Really liked our stay here!

A great place to stay in Takayama

The location. Adjoining to the rail station and walking distance from every important point in Takayama. The room facilities. Every room has a laundry machine inside, and it is for free! Cooking abilities (if you are less for the outdoor eating)

Takayama delight

Location is perfect. Right next to the train station, the local bus station (for Shirakawago) and the Tourist Info Centre. A short, easy and interesting stroll to the main streets of traditional Takayama. A Family Mart across the road for any last minute needs. Rooms were fantastic, Western size and furnishings with Japanese style decorative touch. The washing machine/dryer was very good. Modern and full size kitchen with great beds and air con. There were even complimentary drinks in the fridge. Our group had 2 rooms on the 10th floor so we had nice views to the surrounding countryside and snow-capped mountains. Staff were efficient and minimally intrusive, but very helpful when required.

A short stay in Takayama

This hotel is 2 mins walk from the train station and was a great place to stay for our short stop in Takayama. The hotel is modern and in good condition - the rooms have electric heating, comfy beds, TV, a little kitchen and a washing machine/dryer. We liked the decor of the room. Would definitely stay again!

De locatie is goed, personeel aardig, kamer erg ruim en ik had er ook een keukenblok bij. Bed en douche zijn goed. Geen ontbijtmogelijkheden.

Het was een prima kamer, maar deed een beetje oubollig aan, maar verder ok. De prijs was ook erg goed.

Great stay. We really enjoyed the hotel and Takayama our fav spot so far in Japan

Spacious room, kitchen amenities, close to station and central to the old town

Only thing we didn’t like was not having a lounge. Instead it had a small low table two chairs where you have to sit on the floor. We are seniors so couldn’t get down that low 😌

Best place to stay in Takayama

Everything was perfect. The room are very big. There are lot of amenities as well and the bedroom was soft and good to sleep like a baby. About the location, 10/10! Couldn't be better. You are almost inside the station.

The only point is the lacking of kitchen utensils.

Perfect Location!

It is conveniently located next to the Nohi Bus Center making it easy to go and visit places that would need transportation. It is walking distance from Jinya and the Old Town Street. The room is very spacious and there is a door that separates the bedroom from the kitchen and service area. There was also a washing machine. The bathroom is spacious too.

I wish they could offer breakfast.

FANTASTIC, quirky hotel, in perfect location, amazing value for money

LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel. Do not let the entry area, or the lift, or the corridors put you off. It seems old and potentially worrying when you arrive. But OMG this couldn't be further from the truth. HUGE rooms, really quirky and fun. The room has an entry area with a place to take off your shoes... a washer dryer in your room... a large kitchen area... great bathroom... massive room... with balcony... colourful ceiling... I can't go on enough how this room blew us away for the very cheap price. Not to mention the best location in beautiful Takayama, right next to the bus station (for your tour to Ainokura and Shirakawago... which you must do... make sure you go to BOTH villages) and the train station is just the other side of the bus station. Very close to a Family Mart and within a short walk of so many wonderful authentic Japanese restaurants. We loved Takayama and this hotel was the perfect base.

入室時に窓の鍵が空いていた。シーツが汚れていた。洗濯乾燥機使用にはエラー復旧が必要だった（二回連続。前回は水の元栓、今回は糸くずフィルター清掃）チェックイン時の客扱いが雑。

Tout. C'était spacieux, propre et super bien placé a 2 pas de la gare de train et de bus. Trop mignon et tout se qu'il fallait sur place. Une smoking room sur place. L'hotel est trop mignon, on a adoré.

飯店就在濃飛巴士旁邊。車站後方有兩間大間的超市，走路10分鐘到！可以買熟食回飯店微波（我們沒有煮，純粹微波）。房間乾淨，床很好睡。夠有支撐性！兩張床和雙人床有拉門可隔開，可以不影響彼此睡眠。
