A typical lovely old Napier house. Lovingly furnished and equipped.

It’s a beautiful old house, well equipped with two living areas and heaters/ heat pumps everywhere. Great kitchen containing everything needed to prepare meals. Beautiful garden tables with bbq which we did not use unfortunately

For a property with room for 8 people it was a bit tight with two toilets one bathroom, but we managed. I’d try to install a second bathroom where the big laundry is, washing machine can be integrated in bathroom. No heating in bathroom, nor extraction fan in extra toilet. Quite cold hallway

It was great. Also appreciative of the staff who helped to extend the booking by a couple of days at a great price.

Genuinely enjoyed the house areas especially the bedrooms, lounge and outside areas. Very spacious and tidy for a family.

The location was wonderful. We bought our own breakfast. And the stay was great everything was clean and tidy. Thank you so much

Nice in Napier

The location was good - the town centre was a 20-minute walk or 5-minute car journey. There was a dairy, takeaway and off-licence nearby within easy walking distance. The house was well-decorated and furnished. The heat pump was on when we arrived which made the house warm for us (it was a cold day weekend when we stayed) and was most appreciated.

The bathroom was a bit dark and cold.

Great stay, beautiful old villa and nice and close to town.

It was a short walk into town, although on a very noisy busy road - but the location overall was great.

Bed was very soft.

Most enjoyable, would be happy to come again.

Totally comfortable for us four single adults. A comfortable bedroom each. Also great to have two lounges.

Middle of winter, the toilet/bathroom areas were a little cold.

Great house but a few issues

This is a very spacious house in a great location. Furnishings are great and it’s well set up for a group or family to enjoy a holiday together. Excellent outdoors area also with bbq.

This house has a few issues that let it down: - Only one very small bathroom (although there is a second toilet) - No soap or shampoo provided - On a very noisey road with no double glazing - Two of the double beds are very soft with roll together - We booked through booking.com and it clearly stated in large writing the “Total charges” for the house, only it wasn’t. Very misleading to find in small print an additional $28/person for linen hire. This should either included in the rental price (who travels with sheets) or added into the total like the cleaning fee.
